About this vendor
I create custom Watercolor Paintings of people, dresses, jewelry, shoes, settings or anything else memorable from the occasion that you want to preserve in distinctive and enduring Watercolor art. Prior to becoming a Watercolor artist I painted faces working as a makeup artist and hairstylist in sunny San Diego, CA. When we moved to majestic Black Forest, CO I traded my makeup brushes for Watercolor brushes. I enjoy painting commissions and collaborating with clients to achieve that special piece of art that also make great gifts! My art has been featured in galleries in San Diego, CA, Fallbrook, CA, Lafayette, CO and most recently in Denver, CO at D'art Gallery. While the transforming effect of a creamy foundation or a tint of blush to an otherwise monotone complexion gets me every time, I am enamored with the unlimited possibilities of what can happen on paper just by adding pigment to water then continue with layer upon layer of translucent paint to an otherwise blank slate. That is how I am able to create luminous effects with Watercolor.

It was an absolute privilege to have worked with Paula and her team on my hair and makeup for my wedding in San Diego. She brings empathy, design and talent into her work.
For my...
wedding makeup, we went with a natural look that would easily translate from day to night. For hair, I gave Paula full creative license on a half up-do and she produced a beautifully relaxed and elegant style. I look forward to working with her again and staying in touch.
Paula is absolutely amazing! "Thank you" doesn't do it justice for how much I appreciate her work on my wedding day; the day wouldn't have been the same without her. She is so ta...
lented good at what she does. She and her team of girls made everyone look so beautiful. You will not find a better hair & makeup artist in San Diego! Thank you Paula!
Paula is professional and just talented at what she is doing. Make-up and Hair is the most concern of bride and you have to trust your make-up and hair artist for your wedding. She...
is the one you can trust. She was the artist of my make-up and hair for my engagement session and my wedding! Everyone made compliments of her works. I asked her for my mom and mother in law make-up and hair-design. She did amazing job for both moms in time. She doesn't make you worry or concern. That is the best thing for bride. I def recommend her to my friends and family!
Paula is very professional. She is wonderful as a make-up and hair artist! I have had her services twice. I had so many compliments from my friend's wedding, that I ended up hiring...
her for my own wedding! She listens to your thoughts and ideas, and she follows them closely. If you are on a tight budget, this may not be the make-up/hair service you choose. Fortunately, Paula's services were a wedding gift from my mother. If you are looking for the best, regardless, Paula is your girl! She is excellent!
My husband and I got married in May at L'Auberge in Del Mar, and Paula was recommended to me by my wedding planner. I have a (at the time 7 month old) son, and couldn't find time ...
to do a trial run , so I actually met Paula the day of the wedding after emailing pictures of looks I liked. I am so happy I put my trust in Paula! She came with print outs of pictures I had sent, and my hair and makeup exceeded my expectations. Along with that, my bridesmaids all looked so beautiful ! I personally like a natural look, and Paula made me feel beautiful without being overdone. We had such a good experience with Paula , one of my bridesmaids immediately asked me for her information for her own wedding. I can't recommend Paula enough !
