Paynefield Farm

I was going to give this place a 5 star review, but after snarky email to me after the wedding I have to give it a 1 star review. The only thing going for this place is it is positively beautiful and I loved I could come and clean up the day after. Everyone was very nice and answered all of my questions prior to the wedding. However, Friday before my wedding the grass was cut and grass clippings were just left there. The fastest way to get the clippings to the side was to get a lawnmower and cut the grass again for it to pick up the clippings. Upon emailing Jessica after the wedding. she said if I had a problem with grass I should have not had an outdoor wedding. I was told upon signing there were no linens available from the venue, but the week before the wedding Jessica asked if I wanted any of their linens. I get this could have changed from signing to the wedding, but someone should have told me. I had seen there was a dumpster behind the barn when taking my engagement pictures, but come clean up Sunday I could not find a dumpster. So, I had to take the trash back to my hometown to throw everything away. Apparently, the sister that lives there now told us about the dumpster being somewhere else, but I asked everyone that was in the house and no one said she said anything about a dumpster. All of this was not a big deal to me, and I emailed the owner a week after the wedding saying "for future reference in might be a good idea...." and this was her reply. "For your future reference, if you have questions/concerns about something maybe you should ask someone prior to taking the situation into your own hands and creating more work for yourself.  There is actually a dumpster on the property. The dumpster was moved and there is a trash truck by the barn for people to stick trash in to be hauled from the barn to the dumpster. Danielle says she told you this.  Also, if you have a problem with grass maybe you should have not had an outdoor wedding. But again, if you had voiced your concerns I could have had someone clean up the area for you."

Absolutely beautiful wedding venue! Lots of freedom in choosing where on the property you would like to have your ceremony. Great price for everything you get! We absolutely loved having our wedding here. -The Bakers

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! By far the prettiest venue in the area. Jessica was great to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process.
