We love Payton Marie Photography! Payton is the most considerate & insightful person to have on your team to capture the love in your relationship. She first came to our home for our engagement session. She made time for every one of my ideas, & her artistry turned into honestly the most beautiful & personal photos I’ve ever seen. We treasure these photos displaying our adoration for each other & our excitement in our engagement period. Then she returned to photograph our very queer, very TexMex, polyamorous, 92° wedding. She didn’t shy away from the “different” but instead made sure to beautifully capture all the moments that made our celebration unique. The photos have so much energy & life to them. They line the walls of our home so we can regularly reflect on all the perfect fleeting moments Payton immortalized for us. I will never forget her calming and supportive presence that eased the chaos of the day and how reassured I was knowing we were in her hands!

I cannot say enough good things about Payton! I’m always very uncomfortable in front of a camera, and I was honestly amazed at how Payton made me feel at ease and natural all day—and that really shows in her photos! Payton was a calming presence for us all day. She gave us a ton of great advice about ceremony and photo location and about how to schedule our day. And beyond her amazing work and expertise, she was so fun to spend time with; all our friends and family at our small wedding are still talking about how great she was. Everyone planning a non-traditional, intentional wedding should work with Payton. She is so lovely, considerate and understanding throughout the entire wedding planning process from engagement photos all the way to the wedding day. I don’t even know where to start. Payton is an absolute gem. Planning a wedding is so stressful and Payton took away all of the stress because I had so much confidence in not only her artistic ability to capture our day but also she felt like a best friend from day one. I have had multiple friends, coworkers, etc. tell me that our engagement pictures and wedding pictures are the best they’ve ever seen. I could brag on Payton all day long! Payton’s husband Michael was her second photographer, came all the way to the Bahamas to and was a major hep as well! He took some candid behind the scenes video (which was amazing because we didn’t do a videographer) and Polaroids and it is priceless footage as well. Payton truly wants you to have your perfect day and does literally everything she can to make it happen. I chose not to utilize a wedding planner and Payton created a timeline for the day which was an incredible help!! I couldn’t have been more pleased with her and our photos. Payton is truly an incredible photographer and person! From the moment of our first call Payton has been so kind, accepting, and loving of who my husband and I are as people in general but also the vision we had for our wedding day. Our engagement and wedding photos are beyond out of this world and every time I look at them I am more and more appreciative of all the hard work she put into not only those photos, but also in the days in general. From the very beginning Payton was a rockstar. Not only does her work speak for itself, but she is extremely punctual when it comes to contacting you wether it be the initial call, putting together a timeline, sorting out permits and showing up day of. She is extremely talented at taking photos of the couple/guests but also incorporating the surrounding landscape that makes her photos works of art. She was totally up for meeting us at an extremely early hour for sunrise photos in Joshua Tree NP and the whole experience was sooo easy as she had scoped out places in the days before and knew where to go. Her and her assistant made us along with family and friends feel sooo comfortable by keeping us laughing and smiling the whole time. Highly recommend her! She was a pure joy to work with and everything we could have ever dreamed of in a photographer.

Payton took the time to meet with us and figure out what we wanted to include with our photos, she was flexible with our timeline and when our wedding had to be postponed for the pandemic for a year. She didn't make us feel rushed when did outfit and location changes. My husband Tyler and I used Payton as our wedding photographer back in 2019. The moment I saw her pictures on the knot I knew I wanted her to capture our day! From our first time speaking over the phone to throughout our entire day she made us feel so special and was just the best to work with! I could not have been happier with the pictures we received. She was able to capture all of the laughter, the fun and dancing from our day. Every picture was authentic and she truly has the ability to capture the moments that matter the most in the most beautiful way! This led us to almost two years later, we decided we needed her to work her magic again! We hired Payton to take couples pictures for us and wow she was somehow even better than the first time! She played us music, laughed with us, and somehow provided direction that let us truly relax and be ourselves together. I can honestly not rave enough! We worked with Payton in doing an engagement session! We wanted to book her for our wedding too but she wasn't available. She was great in keeping up communication and had great ideas to help us pick places to go to take pictures. COVID-19 didn't make things easy at first as we had to reschedule a couple times but once everything worked out to our favor, we had so much fun! We did things a little different by having part of our session inside a movie theater and then the last part was inside of a bar/arcade! It was uniquely us and Payton helped us see that vision. Though we had to reschedule a couple times, Payton worked very hard to get us a sneak peek of our pictures within a few days after our session and then our whole gallery in about a week! We're so thankful Payton was so chill about everything and we had a lot of fun working with her! Payton has a cool eye for things you don't think about in her photos. We cannot say enough amazing things about having Payton as our engagement photographer!! It was our first time having professional photos taken together and Payton made us feel so comfortable and like ourselves. Payton was everything and more in what we hoped we would find in our wedding photographer! She is kind and funny and was able to relax us so we were able to have fun in front of the camera (not something done easily). Like many other couples who planned to get married this year, my husband and I faced a very difficult time. Our wedding was originally planned and ready to go for early April when COVID-19 hit and local lockdowns went into effect. Unfortunately, we had roughly one week to decide if we would cancel or reschedule our wedding since our deposits would become non-refundable within thirty (30) days of our event, which added a level of stress that we wouldn't wish on anyone. Payton was understanding and was willing to work with us to find a later date for our wedding. We planned something with just our family and wedding parties for a few months later. Payton made this as painless as possible and helped us along the way. She truly cares for each couple she photographs and that's obvious from the first time you meet her. The photos she gave us turned out better than we ever could've expected! Her kindness, understanding and genuine smile made a difficult year much easier. She is quick to answer any questions you might have and help you in every way she can. There is no one else I would have wanted to help capture the memories of the best day of our lives! She made every photo special and we can't sing her praises enough. If you want someone who will truly take your ideas and hopes to heart, then you've found your person. I cannot rave enough about how truly grateful I am that we hired Payton for our wedding. She was so helpful the whole time leading up to our wedding. She was the first to reach out when our original venue did not work out AND helped us in our search for a new venue (the whole NOAH’s misfortune). In addition to that, I have to say she is so easy to communicate with, friendly, and professional. She makes you feel so at ease and like a million bucks. Payton was AMAZING! We are not typically ones to feel comfortable doing a photo shoot of just ourselves, but with Payton she made us feel so comfortable and also have such a great time. From day 1 Payton has poured her heart and soul into getting to know us and our love story so she could truly capture our love and true self in every photo. From engagement to wedding pictures it felt like Christmas morning opening the gallery’s, so giddy and excited because you knew they were going to be amazing since she took them. She made the picture taking experience so natural and comfortable, makes you feel like you’re a model and have been taking pictures your whole life, lol!! Payton is seriously the best photographer in Oklahoma! She is always available if you have questions. She listened to all my crazy ideas and helped me so much. We are super awkward and didn't know what we were doing and she made everything so easy and fun! All of our family and friends loved her and cannot believe how amazing these photos turned out! Payton is absolutely the GREATEST and we are so thankful that she was available to capture our special day. Brandon and I decided to elope to Washington pre-COVID with the hope of a relaxed, intimate, and authentic wedding with 10 of our closest friends and family. We didn't set a ton of exceptions or have a set plan knowing how fluid everything was at the moment mid-pandemic. Payton and our wedding weekend exceeded every expectation we hesitantly set. Every time she does our photos I wonder if she's gotten anything good because she, and her photo-taking, are so relaxed and natural. Payton is literally the best photographer I think I’ve ever had. She’s so sweet so comfortable to be around and she has a great sense of humor. Some people always think photo shoots are awkward and some might be, but hers never. She was so good at telling us what to do and make us feel comfortable. We got married on the winter solstice (meaning the shortest day of the year) which meant we could not get gorgeous golden hour photos after our ceremony together. My husband and I got engaged November, 2017, while we were living abroad in Seoul, South Korea. There were two areas that I immediately started researching: venue and photographer. Payton is the best! We wanted to have her for our wedding day, but she was already booked. However, we have always wanted to get pictures done with her, and WE DID! We had an after wedding session with her and it was the absolute BEST! Her ability to capture all you want and more is AMAZING! She takes the time to do your pictures, and yet to get to know you. Payton was a joy to be around. She was easy to work with and picked up on our aesthetic and vibe really quickly. We felt totally comfortable the whole time and really enjoyed ourselves. Having a wedding in DFW, we were initally skeptical about bringing in a photographer from out of town. When we spoke to Payton on the phone, we immediately noticed the warmth of her personality. She even helped us customize our package to perfectly fit our wedding day. After much research we noticed that her price was extremely reasonable compared to other top-tier photographers. We decided to go with her and couldn't be more happy we did. The pictures came out AMAZING! She was perfectly available at every moment we needed her to be, and her bubbly energy made it so easy for us to be ourselves. She also captured many candid moments that we would have been lost otherwise. Payton was extremely flexible with every request we had, and delivered every type of photo that we requested. Her husband was also an amazing part of her team. He took incredible shots of the groomsmen and myself while Payton was with the Bride. Hiring Payton was one of the best wedding choices we made. We wouldn't change a single thing if we could go back and do it again.

Payton exceeded all of our expectations. She is absolutely amazing! We had her take our engagements + wedding photos. My fiance and I were lucky enough to have Payton as our photographer for our engagement session in September. We were throwing around the idea of rescheduling our session due to rain and flooding, but when we decided we wanted to go through with it, Payton was super supportive and powered through the weather like a champ. Her and Michael worked great together as a team and made my fiance and I feel very comfortable even though it was our first time meeting them. Throughout the process of scheduling and the actual session itself, her communication was spot on and her suggestions for locations and poses were exactly what we were looking for. Wow oh wow I cannot say enough wonderful things about Payton! She was so fun and easy to work with! On our wedding day in August, things ran a smidgen behind schedule and she handled it like a champ. Her and her now fiancé Michael did an extraordinary job working together and capturing different views of our wedding! Then 2 weeks later, my husband and I put our wedding day clothes back on, and went to the Wichita Mountains for an after wedding photo session. I could not recommend that enough! Payton played T-Swift and we pretty much had a dance party the whole time. She is so much fun to work with! And of course those photos were amazing too! My husband and I agree that hiring Payton was the best decision that we made for our wedding day. Payton was easy to communicate during a hectic wedding planning process, was flexible with my husband and I when we requested a wedding shoot that was a little out of the norm, and was super helpful and excited for us during the entire planning process. But her and Michael did an EXCEPTIONAL job of making our wedding day incredibly special. My wedding day was the first time I met Payton, and I was impressed with her professionalism, efficiency, and flexibility, but ultimately, I loved and so appreciated how she automatically felt like a friend. Garrison and I had so much fun while taking pictures with her and Michael and they made the process simple and seamless. They did an exceptional job of making the entire process feel natural and more about the special moments of our wedding instead of the entire thing feeling forced.
