PDA Band

PDA played at our wedding in June at Camp Lucy. We only have GREAT things to say about this band!!! From the beginning, they were so easy to work with, very organized, and extremely responsive. We went to watch them at Icenhauer’s before we booked them and they blew us away with how talented each member of the band is. They have incredible energy and amazing dance moves and voices. On our wedding day they kept our guests dancing all night long. I (the bride) didn’t leave the dance floor one time all night! Several of our guests came up to us after and told us we had the best band! We absolutely loved having them and would book them again! If you’re considering booking PDA, DO IT!

PDA was exceptional! Their talent, energy and ability to read the crowd was unmatched. They put on a show that feels like you are at a concert and our dance floor was packed the entire night. The New Orleans style second line send off was a unique and fun way to end the night. We received so many compliments about PDA being the best wedding band our guests have ever seen. We’ve seen PDA perform at local bars in the past and they’re always great but wow, they took it to another level for our wedding. It was 90+ degrees and people were hot but every single person at our wedding was on the dance floor all night long! The number one compliment we received from our guests the next morning was that the band was the BEST wedding band they’ve ever seen.

PDA band was FANTASTIC! We had high expectations going in to our wedding because we’d seen them perform on Rainey St and knew they were great, but they outperformed even those! They bring so much energy and talent - great voices, dance moves, outfits, and interaction with the crowd. All of our guests kept coming up to us saying how amazing the band was and we had a rocking dance party the whole night. They knew how to tailor their songs to appeal to all generations of people in the crowd and read the room to pick the next right song. They also have a super wide set of songs they know so you should easily be able to find what you want! We would HIGHLY recommend them!

You will NOT find a better band!!! I am telling you right now...I am getting messages from my guests WEEKS later telling us how much fun they had and that the band was incredible. They hype everyone up, they read the crowd, they get you involved, and they dance like no ones business. Don't skimp out on your wedding...do yourself a favor and book this band. They will even DJ in between, so you can get the songs that you might want to just play!

PDA Band was hands down the absolute best part of our wedding. They made our wedding SO MUCH FUN!! I lost my voice from screaming and singing the entire night -- it felt like we were at a concert. The band was so interactive - getting everyone to dance, letting us dance on stage, just so much fun. And the talent! They were the most amazing group of singers (AND DANCERS!). Every guest told me they had never seen so many people on the dance floor and they had never heard a better wedding band before. I’m pretty sure every wedding band I hear from now on will be a huge disappointment. If you want a dance party at your wedding, you 100000% need to book PDA.

BEST. BAND. EVER!!!!! I've been a fan of PDA since 2017 and I had to hire them for my wedding. Obviously, they did not disappoint. Every single guest mentioned how awesome they were and enjoyed their music all night long. Drew was a pleasure to work with; communication was clear and prompt. The band is just sooo talented! I just couldn't have made a better choice for a band.

Words cannot express how incredible PDA made our wedding! EVERYONE told me the next day how amazing they were, how they have never been to a wedding with a “concert” vibe and asking how they could book them for their own event. Cannot recommend this band highly enough if you want an amazing evening!

MONTHS later and our guests are still raving about this band!! PDA Band is so much more than your standard wedding band- there is SO much talent, they truly put on a show and you can tell they love performing. Even during the dinner set, our guests were SCREAMING at their amazing vocals. Drew and Amos are wonderful to work with, so prompt and make booking and planning a breeze. I'm trying to come up with another event so I can find an excuse to book and see this band again!!

PDA Band is beyond amazing. We fell in love with PDA Band after seeing them perform on Rainey Street and once we found out they performed for weddings, we knew that they had to be our band. No exceptions. Not only are they talented singers but they can dance! Their shows are truly a performance and the energy they bring is unmatched. Do you and your guests a favor and book PDA—you will 100% NOT regret it! My husband and I had seen PDA perform before and knew how much we loved them, but we had a tiny bit of concern that they wouldn’t be our parents or older guests cup of tea. Wow, were we wrong. PDA had everybody dancing the entire night. There wasn’t one song that was the “ok go get another drink or use the restroom song”. The dance floor was rocking the entire night. Our guests are still raving about our wedding band. One of our friends who it feels like attends a wedding every other weekend even told us “I’ve never been to a wedding where literally everybody was on the dance floor the entire night.” It was the most fun I’ve had in my entire life with the energy, positivity and kindness they all radiated! Even with the older crowd that wasn’t comfortable being in the thick of the dance floor during the pandemic, they were still out of their seats on the perimeter of the dance floor just dancing away! Besides the phenomenal performance, moontower entertainment was an absolute pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY recommend you have their female artist, Drew, as part of the band. She helps take the band to a whole new level and was an incredible emcee for us. She kept everything flowing perfectly. She timed out all of our first dance songs exactly how we wanted. They also did all of our ceremony sound system which they nailed seamlessly. It’s obviously an investment into the wedding, but hiring PDA was honestly the highlight of our reception and we will be talking about how much fun they brought for years to come. Thank you PDA, Drew, and all of Moontower Entertainment for the fun and professionalism you all provided for our special day!!
