Hi, I’m Sam, a certified wedding planner based in the Cincinnati Tri-State area. I founded Peace of Mind Events to fill one simple gap: to take away your stress so you can truly savor your celebration. My love for planning events started as a young girl, organizing theme parties for friends inspired by American Girl magazines. When I turned 16, I co-planned a joint birthday party with a friend, my very first collaborative event, which sparked my passion for creating shared joyful experiences. I also helped plan my senior prom, getting a taste of large-scale event coordination early on. In high school, I worked at a reception hall, keeping me close to weddings and celebrations. At Miami University, I joined the campus-wide events organization and eventually became executive co-chair for their largest, triennial event: the Charter Day Ball. Every step shaped the planner I am today. After graduation, I spent nearly a decade in the corporate world with a national grocery retailer, gaining experience in operations, leadership, and project management. Even in that busy career, I wanted to keep event planning as part of my life. Within my teams, I volunteered to plan biannual corporate outings, honing my skills in organization, teamwork, and creative execution. I approach each event not as a job, but as a partnership—because when you’re happy, I know I’ve done my job well. With my background in project management, I’m obsessed with seamless timelines, calm coordination, and thoughtful logistics. I pride myself on being calm under pressure, organized in chaos, and fiercely dedicated to making your day truly yours.
