Nancy Kate was in constant contact with all my selected vendors, handling the never ending questions and uncertainty surrounding being a Covid bride with ease. Despite all the chaos and stress of 2020, wedding planning was not one of them. My wedding was everything I could have dreamed and more! I would highly recommend Nancy Kate to everyone! ure between my sister/MoH and a detailed spreadsheet we’d be okay. Well, the wedding stress is real no matter how organized your awesome sister is, and about a month out we quickly realized that we really needed a Nancy Kate in our finals weeks leading to the big day! I had Nancy Kate’s information from an email I sent her many months prior, and we were lucky to find she happened to be available for our weekend. Not only did she jump right in as if she had been there the whole time when connecting with our vendors and editing/finalizing our timeline, she did so with the understanding of the stress and busy-ness of our daily lives, making sure our final few weeks went as pleasantly as possible! We warned her a bit that our families were a touch complicated and she managed to run an impressive rehearsal/run through the day before! Come wedding day she was a life saver in more ways that I have the character limit to explain! She kept us as close to our timeline as possible when dealing with me (always late), she could read my mind when I needed a minute to calm down or take a break from pictures, she quickly changed a planned song that I decided I didn’t want to happen less than an hour before it was supposed to, but the most amazing thing she did was calm me down when my dad was MIA before the parent dances and I was hastily saying I didn’t want to do either of them (I was dancing with my dad then my mom who are divorced, my mother raised me). She said she’d change anything I wanted to but to take a moment, start the speeches and see how I felt because I could never go back and make the decision again. If it weren’t for her I might have had no choice but to not do them because someone who didn’t understand that moment would have communicated my decision to the dj too soon. The dances were great, she made sure my dad was back, and the dance with my mom was exactly what I needed, on top of it making my mom so happy and proud! Long story short, you may think you have it under control, but having someone there to keep you on track, make sure your vendors are where they need to be, and help you navigate the emotional extremes of such an important day is invaluable! I HIGHLY recommend Nancy Kate and would do it all over again with her by our side!
