pearl and sky events is an Atlanta-based boutique event planning, design and floral company specializing in full service weddings. With a decade of service in the events industry, we pride ourselves on the depth of our knowledge and experience. We serve the Southeast and beyond and welcome opportunities to travel. We were founded on the belief that a wedding celebration should be more than just beautiful and fun, it should be reflective of the couple pledging to spend their lives together. During the planning process, we'll get to know you as individuals and as a couple so that we can create a wedding weekend that's perfectly suited to you! The creative floral designs and the professional implementation process were well thought out and constructed achieving the most natural garden -esque setting. The floral designs were delicate, yet exuberant ranging with soft colors and textures to a bit of bright pops of color. There was a great variety of florals including tropical to highly structured arrangements to peonies that were so fresh they looked like they were just cut from the garden. The florals could not have been any more lovely! And to top it off, they were lavished on the tables abundantly! We couldn’t have been any happier.

Heather went above and beyond! Not only was she amazing to work with and invested in bringing your dreams to life, she went out of her way to make me a bouquet for our last minute backyard vows as Covid began to shut down the world and cancel our wedding. A year later she did our rescheduled date too. Heather takes flowers and creates magic! She incorporated ever single detail this sentimental heart could have dreamed of. Our florals are the first thing anyone comments on when talking about our wedding.

This wedding could not have happened as seamless and stress free as it did without Heather's expertise and organization. With challenges, came new ideas and opportunities which I appreciated so much. We had to postpone our wedding and decided to move the entire event outdoors. While these changes were initally met with dissapointment, Heather took the burden of rescheduling vendors off our plate and handled it quickly. Due to noise restrictions at the venue, Heather came up with the idea of a Silent Disco at the reception which ended up being the highlight for many of the guests. When the day finally came, Heather and her team were on it from beginning to end and I did not have one worry the entire day. I whole-heartedly reccomend Heather for your wedding planning needs!

I went into wedding planning not knowing if we should work with a planner or not and left the experience wondering how I would have ever survived without Heather. Her organization, attention to detail, and willingness to hop on a call to talk through details and checklists took so much of the stress out of the process of planning a 150 person wedding in a short timeframe and in a busy season of life for my husband and I. When issues arose, her extensive knowledge of the industry coupled with her incredible ability to problem solve was lifesaver. She has a wonderful way of figuring out how to match the style and vibe of the day with the couple, while having a knack for finding thoughtful ways of making your day personalized and special and tying it all up together with her flawless eye for design. And she is also just an all-around lovely person to work with - attending tasting events and planning over coffee felt like hanging out with a new friend. I can’t say enough about this amazing human and her unique talent.

We knew that we wanted a florist who was excited about using locally-sourced, in-season florals, and once our planner introduced us to Heather from Pearl and Sky Events, we knew she was the right choice for us. Heather is generous with her time and expertise, puts in incredible work to the design and execution process, and somehow turned our rough design thoughts into truly extraordinary floral pieces for our elopement. We can't wait to see what she comes up with for our bigger celebration in October 2021, because we trust that her amazing eye for unique and exciting designs will leave us just as thrilled as it did this past fall! Her work is worth the investment, and you will absolutely not be disappointed. To top it all off, it gives you the chance to support a young, female-run small business - what a plus! :) We cannot thank Heather enough for her attention to detail and flexibility with us during a really challenging year.

Where do I begin? Heather with Peal and Sky Events was not only organized, professional, and super knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of planning our wedding, but she was also a sympathetic ear when the trials and tribulations of planning a 2020 wedding were especially daunting. Where she truly shines is through her floral and design prowess. She seemed to understand even better than I did what I was looking for stylistically for our special day and the end result was truly above and beyond my wildest dreams. The florals were breathtaking and the whole day - from the perspectives of timing, ensuring the day was stress free, and design cohesiveness.- was flawless. Where to begin with this gem of a team!? I fell in love with Heather’s style after seeing her website and, after talking to a few planners, decided to go for Pearl & Sky. As my husband still teases me about, from our first call, talking to Heather was like I was talking to a life-long friend. Other than marrying my now-husband, choosing Heather was 100% the very best decision of our wedding. We started off planning a 280-person December wedding. The world was mostly right-side up (it was February!), and we were excited to plan a big party with our friends and family. Heather sent us incredible vendor recommendations, helped us jump into an easy-to-manage timeline, and crafted the most dreamy design/floral proposal. She was communicative yet relaxed, so I always felt involved in—though never stressed out by—the process. As a type-A person, this was huge for me. I have a tough time handing over control, but there was never a second that I doubted Heather’s ability to get things done perfectly. Fast forward to the summer, we made the tough decision to cancel our large wedding due to COVID. We decided, with Heather’s help, to move forward with an all-out microwedding. Heather handled coordinating the switch with all of our vendors, making it so my husband and I could focus on the bright parts of the switch rather than the heartache of what we were leaving. Heather and her lovely teammate Kyah investigated and toured new venues with me (we wanted a restaurant with private outdoor space that could handle any weather—definitely a tall order), took on moving the wedding up to September, and completely redesigned the wedding from the ground up. Pearl & Sky Events is one-of-a-kind. From sewing and block-printing custom napkins to making the most special hand-pressed-flowers-and-watercolor invitations, every detail was handled with such love and care. The florals were a billion times more beautiful than anything I’ve ever seen in my life. I could go on and on. Heather and Kyah know their stuff, are organized beyond belief, and are the best friends you didn’t realize you were missing. Our entire wedding planning experience was more than perfect thanks to these lovely ladies. Words can’t even describe how lucky we were to have had them as our wedding champions! <3

Heather was so easy to work with! I loved seeing all of the amazing and creative florals she was able to create. The first thing everyone complimented us on at our wedding was the floral arrangements! In these ever changing times, it was so comforting to have Pearl and Sky Events on our side, helping us have a beautiful and memorable experience.

Heather is an amazing wedding planner and I cannot thank her enough for helping pull off the best day of my life. My wife had a very specific vision for our decor and Heather not only executed on the concept, but wildly exceeded our expectations. Our guests could not believe how stunning our wedding looked and how every tiny detailed was looked after. She's meticulous, thorough, and exceptionally organized. In addition, she's a wonderful florist and created unique designs that added to our special day. If you're getting married in Georgia, Heather should absolutely be your wedding planner.

Heather not only is the most organized, responsible, responsive wedding planner, she is also an incredibly gifted florist and designer. I pride myself on being creative and had many ideas for our wedding that Heather took, elaborated, edited, and executed impeccably. As many brides, I had a vision for our day, and Heather and her team wayyyyy surpassed my expectations. She is warm, caring, and her attention to detail is absolutely one of the best creative minds I have ever met. I will have her as a planner for ANY and ALL of my future events!!! Planning a wedding when your daughter lives in another town and works long hours can seem impossible. Then Heather shows up! She planned the perfect wedding for my daughter and son in law. Heather is an amazing designer! We walked into the event space and gasped at the beauty of her design. Words are not enough to thank her for her love, kindness, calmness and creativity. If you want the perfect wedding for your daughter- use Heather!

Heather is an absolute delight: creative, resourceful, knowledgeable, responsive and reliable. She was a wonderful partner for this mother-of the groom, designing and executing a floral vision for a rehearsal dinner party that was perfect in every detail. Heather accommodated my crazy schedule and facilitated all dealings with the venue. The results were spectacular and blew our guests away!

Heather was legitimately life changing. She took the stress of wedding planning and made it 100% fun, navigated family concerns, arranged every millisecond perfectly, and did all of our florals to boot! I couldn’t recommend her more as a planner, and honestly hope we move back to the ATL area where she is based so that someday we can be best friends (she is just that cool). Our wedding was perfect, and I completely give her all the credit.

Heather was more than I ever could have asked for in a wedding planner. I am incredible picky and a self proclaimed control freak and not only was she able to tamper my nerves but also execute on the most magical event, down to every single detail. Her vision and ability to understand couples is a unique gift that truly allows her to plan incredible events. Her vendor recommendations were phenomenal, and the flowers....wow. They were the most beautiful and unique flowers I have ever seen. She saved the day multiple times....first finding a new alterations team for my dress the Friday night before due to a previous negative experience, solving a hotel room mix up and having safety pins on hand for a guest who’s zipper broke unexpectedly. Heather was far and away the best decision I made on my wedding day and would recommend her to anyone looking for a unique and magical day that truly represents you and your partners personality.

In a word, what I can say about Pearl & Sky with Heather McMichen at the helm is "wow". They/she were perfect and made our day so much more amazing than we could've ever anticipated. The flowers, the accents, the overall presentation, the mobile oyster serving-service (Heather's idea), and everything else that went into our wedding is still getting complements over a year after it all ended. I recommend to anyone!

I can not say enough amazing things about Heather and all her support through out planning my wedding, not to mention on the big day! She recommend amazing vendors for me to work with and helped step in to solve issue with other vendors I had personally chosen became difficult to work with. Her Design eye help add that extra sparkle to the overall look on the Wedding Day! The day off I knew I was in great hands and was able to sit back and enjoy the love of my closest friends and family without having to worry about anything that was going on behind the scenes. I truly could not imagine not having her support on that day. I highly recommend hiring her to help with your special moment!

Heather was the bridal consultant for my son's rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding. She was a pleasure to work with. She has fresh, new, creative ideas for the decor, flowers and invitations. Pearl and Sky Events planned my Colorado wedding from rehearsal to reception and I couldn't have been more thrilled. I will admit I wasn't the easiest bride to work with as I thought I could handle all of the details myself. I found myself stressed beyond belief. But when Heather and her crew stepped in and took the reins, I was able to relax and enjoy my day. Heather created a wedding theme which showcased my Southern heritage framed with the backdrop of the Colorado mountains. With extensive knowledge of wedding procedure and an uncanny sense of style, Heather was able to create an event bespoke from my dreams. Heather's personal touch to every detail from floral design to table setting was flawless. And her clear understanding of the wedding industry was invaluable as she worked with vendors negotiating contracts, menus, floor plans and even play lists. I was more than satisfied with the customer service I received and I would highly recommend Pearl and Sky Events to anyone planning a wedding large or small.
