Pearl made the most amazing strawberries and cream cake with buttercream frosting. It was absolutely delicious and not overly sweet. All of my wedding guests loved it! Pearl was an absolute joy to work with. I have a gluten sensitivity and requested to taste only gluten free cakes. These cakes were so incredible, no one actually knew they were gluten free. She was able to design a cake according to all our preferences and was just extremely kind and made the process seamless. Would absolutely recommend Pearl's Cakery.

We had such an incredible experience working with Pearl! We reached out to her after she was highly recommended for her delicious gluten free cakes and cupcakes. We knew we wanted flowers made from icing on the cake and cupcakes, so I sent her a picture of my bridal bouquet to see what she could do. She offered to do a combination of piped and painted, something she had never done before and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. She made us a gluten free pumpkin spice cake with salted caramel filling and pumpkin buttercream and gluten free salted caramel apple cupcakes. Our cake and cupcakes were as delicious as they were beautiful! Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing her cake and cupcakes tasted and how beautiful the flowers were! We highly recommend Pearl and plan on reaching out to her for cakes and cupcakes in the future!

Planning a wedding can be a very daunting task, let alone planning a wedding during a pandemic, but Pearl made the entire experience fun, exciting, and most importantly, stress free. My husband and I were absolutely blown away by her care and concern, as well as her passion for what she does. She is so sweet and her cakes and desserts are truly a work of art! Because of the COVID 19 pandemic, we had to cancel our original cake tasting plans. Pearl reached out immediately, making arrangements to complete our cake tasting from the comfort of our own home. She was in constant communication from our very first inquiry to the day after our wedding, making sure everything would be perfect, and it truly was. Her honesty and knowledge made us feel so comfortable in choosing her to create our dream wedding cake. And the cupcakes were out of this world! There is no doubt that we will be reaching out to her for all of our future baking needs! Thank you, Pearl, for being a part of our special day!

Honest opinion, if you don’t use Pearl you’re seriously missing out. We had a few tastings at bigger bakeries and honestly nothing came anywhere close to comparing to Pearl. If I could eat one sweet for the rest of my life I promise you it would be her buttercream. I never thought I was a picky person when it came to buttercream until I tried hers and now I am ruined for all other bakers, I cannot stress this enough! Anyway we decided to do a smaller two tier cake with an assortment of cupcakes and that was absolutely the right decision! I love doing it like this because this way every single person was able to find something that fit their tastes! We had originally booked enough cake for around 90 guests (our original number) but due to 2020 we only had 65 guests (totally fine, it was beautiful) but the reason I’m mentioning this is because we decided to not change the amount of cake because it was all so good we could not make a decision on what to shrink. Y’all, Pearl’s cake is so good that our 65 guests managed to only leave a few slices of cake behind of what was supposed to be enough for 90. It was truly amazing. I got sooo many comments and compliments on how good it all was! Not only is her work beautiful but it somehow actually tastes even better!! We will absolutely be working with Pearl in the future for all of our cake needs!!!

Let me start with this - I wanted our cake to be untraditional and make a statement. I was searching high and low for a bakery that could pull it off exactly how I envisioned it! When I first posted my idea - a stacked cookie cake with layers of buttercream between standing about 8 inches high and 6 inches in diameter (posted on her instagram in September) - Pearl was one of the vendors who offered to take it on! After looking at her (BEAUTIFUL) portfolio, I felt completely confident Pearl could pull it off. She was incredibly responsive to all of my questions and concerns about the cake’s creation and nothing but friendly and helpful through the process. She was able to make us a mini test cake for my bridal shower (YUM) and made the tiny tweaks in taste perfectly for our wedding cake! I was quite set on having peonies on my cake, though they were out of season. Pearl did her best to try and find me some but had no luck (neither did my florist.) She was very accommodating in helping me find alternatives! The cake looked perfect with white garden roses instead! On the day of the wedding she delivered the cake on time and in perfect condition and placed our cake topper for us. Everyone loved it and thought it was the cutest cake ever, not to mention SUPER delicious. I 110% recommend Pearl for any cake or bakery items for your event!

I had a beautiful wedding at the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake in early August. The day couldn't have gone better, but than it did. I ordered a cake from Pearl. Agreeably for some maybe a little different. Chocolate peanut butter. It was absolutely amazing. For the guests that either had nut allergies or wanted otherwise we ordered key lime and strawberry cupcakes. Equally as lovely. Pearl was a pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail and professionalism made the experience memorable.

Pearl made both the cupcakes for my bridal shower and cake for my wedding - both of which were absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. I couldn’t have asked for more. Not only were Pearl’s cakes awesome and great quality, but I really appreciated how she took the time to get to know us as a couple. This was unique and made our experience of working with her special.

Yesterday, June 20, 2020 was my daughter Rachel’s wedding day💍 Pearl made the most delicious and beautiful cake for our celebration of love! It had three tiers and each one was as delicious as the next! Many guests raved about how this cake had to be made with love because it was so amazing🤎 I also ordered cupcakes for my Rachel’s shower which were also beautiful and delicious . I highly recommend Pearl she is not only a fabulous artistic baker she truly loves what she does and takes the time to care for and about her customers♥️ Thank you again Pearl for putting the icing on our cake💍🥂

Pearl is wonderful and so easy to work with. As a bride with so many decisions on my plate, Pearl was able to take my ideas for what I liked and guide me in the right way with her experience and professionalism to the most amazing, delicious cake for our special day! Pearl was a dream to work with! She is super sweet and easy going. We've ordered cupcakes from her in the past, so it was a natural choice for us to look into her wedding cakes for our special day. As usual, she did not disappoint. We were actually able to use a gorgeous floral design from some of her cupcakes, and then we tweaked it to match our wedding colors and styles.

Pearl was able to understand the basic vision I gave her for our wedding cake and turn it into something even better than I imagined! It was BEAUTIFUL. And her buttercream alone made you want seconds. It was also delivered and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything was seamless and perfect!

Pearl made the best wedding cake I’ve ever had, and I can’t believe I got to have it for my wedding day! The sponge was so soft and perfect, the buttercream was delicious, and the strawberry filling was the perfect touch. Not to mention, the cake was beautiful. Pearl is a master at making cakes look and taste amazing!
