Most weddings are a day that goes by too fast. At Pearsons Creek, it's a whole weekend. We're a 10-acre wedding and weekend retreat venue in Bells, Tennessee, with woods, lawn and a stocked pond. Your weekend runs from Friday at 3 pm through Sunday at 4 pm, for one price. There are no hourly rates and no add-on packages. Guests usually roll in Friday afternoon. Cabins open up, golf carts are charged, and the kids head straight for the water. Your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner can happen right here on site. Late Friday night, people end up on the balcony under the string lights or in the hot tubs. Saturday starts slow. The bride and bridesmaids get ready in The Cottage, our white-house bridal suite, while the guys get ready in the Fishing Cabin. Float, fish the pond, or sleep in. Then pick your spot to say "I do": the Balcony overlooking the pond or the Grassy Knoll, barefoot under the oaks. Dinner and dancing happen in The Pavilion, the center of the weekend. It's 2,300 square feet on the pond, holds up to 200 guests, and we set it up the way you like it, including our 100 chairs, twelve 8-foot tables, ceremony pews, arch and sound system, which we set up and tear down. Think checkerboard dance floor, greenery overhead and a chandelier, with the deck and the water right outside. There's no music end time, so nobody has to rush out at midnight, and nobody has to clean up that night. Your bed is a short walk away. Overnight stays for 14 guests are included in The Loft and the cabins, with room for extra tents and campers. The Loft started as the Pearsons family's barn in the 1860s and is now a two-bedroom log cabin. Sunday morning is coffee on the porch in the rocking chairs, with sore feet and stories from last night. A dedicated on-site liaison is around for most of the weekend, and you're free to pick your own caterer, DJ, florist, planner and baker; just let us know who. Not planning a wedding? The Pavilion also hosts birthdays, reunions and engagement parties, and our cabins are open for nightly stays on Airbnb and Vrbo.
