This journey has gifted me a unique perspective, backed by my BFA in Photography and experience in advertising, documentary, and fashion photography. On our wedding day, Caleb arrived with a warm smile and an infectious energy that immediately put us and our guests at ease. He seamlessly blended into the background, capturing candid moments that truly reflected the joy and emotion of the day. Every time we looked up, he was there, snapping away, yet never intrusive.
The way he frames shots is simply magical. From the intimate glances between us during the ceremony to the joyful dance floor chaos later in the evening, Caleb managed to document every precious moment with artistry and authenticity. He’s very relaxed while still very direct. He’s able to wrangle groups and keep things on track. He’s also so efficient. He will get the shot. He knows what he wants, what looks good, and how to get the results, so trust. He also will scope out your location ahead of time and pays attention to the times you’ll be there to ensure he knows the lighting, equipment, and best places to get the photos. That’s a level of detail that you simply do not get anywhere else.
He was a source of calm for me and handled most of the organizing of the people for the photos on the day of, which was a much needed break for me (because we had to decorate the day of). He was invaluable to my husband and the groomsmen for making sure they were looking their best. He has such an eye for detail that he will fix venue items and make sure everything looks photo ready without being prompted or asked. This is also an attention to detail that only experience can bring, which he has in spades.
He made such a positive impression because of his professionalism that several of our friends asked for his card so they can use his services.

I was really anxious the morning of the wedding, but Caleb was looking out for me and helped me relax and stay on schedule. He is so creative and has a great eye for setting us in the right poses, and he even managed to get some great photos of our very excitable pup who did not want to sit still!
All in all, we loved working with Caleb. He was able to get our photos to us super fast - just a little over a week after the wedding, and he event sent us Instagram previews in the days after! We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos already, and even though Caleb is located in Grand Rapids and we're in Ann Arbor, I'll definitely hit him up for any other photo needs in the future!

He was so friendly to everyone there that I was still getting compliments for weeks afterward for what a great pick he was! And his product is top-notch. The posed family photos are jumbo- sized, framed-in-the-livingroom worthy, and his candid photos really capture the love and joy that were in the room.
