From the moment we met Caleb, we knew we had found someone special to capture our wedding day. His passion for photography is palpable, and his creative vision truly sets him apart...
. Caleb not only has an incredible eye for detail but also a unique ability to make everyone feel at ease in front of the camera.
On our wedding day, Caleb arrived with a warm smile and an infectious energy that immediately put us and our guests at ease. He seamlessly blended into the background, capturing candid moments that truly reflected the joy and emotion of the day. Every time we looked up, he was there, snapping away, yet never intrusive.
The way he frames shots is simply magical. From the intimate glances between us during the ceremony to the joyful dance floor chaos later in the evening, Caleb managed to document every precious moment with artistry and authenticity. His use of natural light and composition turned our wedding into a stunning visual story that we will cherish forever.
When we received our photos, we were blown away. Each image was a work of art, telling the story of our day in a way we could have only dreamed of. The colors were vibrant, the emotions were raw, and every shot radiated the love that surrounded us.
Beyond his technical skill, Caleb's genuine kindness and professionalism made the entire experience enjoyable. He took the time to understand our vision and was flexible with our requests, ensuring that we got exactly what we wanted.
If you’re looking for a photographer who will not only capture your wedding beautifully but also make the process enjoyable and stress-free, look no further than Caleb. We are beyond grateful for the incredible memories he has given us, and we can’t recommend him highly enough!

unication throughout the entire planning process. He responded to any of my concerns quickly and with care. He delivered two beautiful galleries that we were impressed with.

nd relieved he was available for our wedding date because our engagement photos are beautiful and Caleb is a joy to work with. We can’t wait for our wedding photos! He has an amazing turn around time of 3 weeks, which is impressive considering the volume of photos we are getting!
He’s very relaxed while still very direct. He’s able to wrangle groups and keep things on track. He’s also so efficient. He will get the shot. He knows what he wants, what looks good, and how to get the results, so trust. He also will scope out your location ahead of time and pays attention to the times you’ll be there to ensure he knows the lighting, equipment, and best places to get the photos. That’s a level of detail that you simply do not get anywhere else.
He was a source of calm for me and handled most of the organizing of the people for the photos on the day of, which was a much needed break for me (because we had to decorate the day of). He was invaluable to my husband and the groomsmen for making sure they were looking their best. He has such an eye for detail that he will fix venue items and make sure everything looks photo ready without being prompted or asked. This is also an attention to detail that only experience can bring, which he has in spades.
He made such a positive impression because of his professionalism that several of our friends asked for his card so they can use his services.

municative, and easy to work with. He helped us feel comfortable for the engagement session and the photos turned out great! Since he did SUCH a great job, we also asked Caleb to photograph our wedding, and once again his work was stunning!
I was really anxious the morning of the wedding, but Caleb was looking out for me and helped me relax and stay on schedule. He is so creative and has a great eye for setting us in the right poses, and he even managed to get some great photos of our very excitable pup who did not want to sit still!
All in all, we loved working with Caleb. He was able to get our photos to us super fast - just a little over a week after the wedding, and he event sent us Instagram previews in the days after! We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos already, and even though Caleb is located in Grand Rapids and we're in Ann Arbor, I'll definitely hit him up for any other photo needs in the future!
Thank you so much for being a part of our special day!

p. His calm, confident presence instantly puts everyone at ease, making the entire experience feel natural and fun.
Caleb is also a fantastic communicator. From planning the shoot to final delivery, he was organized, responsive, and made sure we felt taken care of every step of the way. And the results? Absolutely stunning. Every photo was beautifully composed, edited to perfection, and captured the genuine emotion of the moment.
I can't recommend Peat Woods Photography highly enough. If you're looking for someone who blends artistry with professionalism and makes you feel confident in front of the camera, Caleb is your guy!
PS - I would add photos to this review, but the site keeps giving me an upload error.

take the reins where needed and is clear in what he was looking for in the posed photos.
He was so friendly to everyone there that I was still getting compliments for weeks afterward for what a great pick he was! And his product is top-notch. The posed family photos are jumbo- sized, framed-in-the-livingroom worthy, and his candid photos really capture the love and joy that were in the room.
I would highly recommend for his product and double points for having such a sparkling personality.

cago, from the first snapshot to the last. Caleb was accommodating and flexible when working with me on my requests from getting both groom and bride getting ready pics, he covered all bases -even those I didn’t think of. We loved seeing him all over the venue capturing the set up, getting guest shots, and flying across the dance floor for our dances and open dancing. Thank you Caleb sincerely and whole heartedly.

meet Caleb, you get a feel for the man behind the lens and love the work even more. He felt more like a friend to us by the time the wedding rolled around. He even took the time to meet us all the way in downtown Chicago when we lived up north. We met him at a coffee shop on a snowy day back when he was part of Willow Noavi and we just clicked. At the wedding, it was like friends were shooting it for us and not just a photographer we rented for the day. Caleb took the time to really understand the vision we had for our wedding, to learn about us as a couple, and what kind of elements we wanted to capture specifically. For me, I wanted our nieces to be captured in the teepee we made, and all the random details! It was so well worth it. I highly recommend Peat Woods!

experience working with the photographer. At the wedding where we worked together, he was an excellent team player and communicator. He was mindful of the 'big picture', helping to make sure we both got the shots we needed, and helping communicate event details between the working vendors that evening. He brings an easy going, yet confident vibe to the day, which is super important at an event that has the potential to be high-stress. I'd be more than happy to work shoulder-to-shoulder with Caleb any day.
