He managed to make what could have been a lengthy process and made it very efficient when taking family photos after the ceremony. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing. I think every bride is nervous when waiting for her wedding photos to come back, but when I did I had tears of joy. Not only was he super fast ( I had them back in about two weeks) but I literally had hundreds of the most beautiful photos I had ever seen. He did such an amazing job that I don’t feel like any other photographer could have done better. Would highly highly recommend . What’s funny is when looking at the photos that it looks like he managed to be everywhere at once but I hardly saw him. He got SO many pictures of the guests and the reception and the activities but managed to not be invasive. He got lots of traditional photos but LOTS of candids which is awesome. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We were so glad we got to meet him in Cambria and talk to him in person! He's very thorough and detail-oriented, and provided us with a very good timeline for us on the day of our wedding. He was so involved throughout our wedding that it felt like he was our personal day of coordinator! Peer tried his best to make sure we were on track with our time schedule as much as possible! We got our photos a lot quicker than expected and were very happy with the final product. We highly recommend hiring Peer for your big event! He will not disappoint! :)

yone could have done better. Peer has a great eye and seemed to be right where he needed to be to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments just as they happened throughout the day. He was able to get through family photos so quickly after the ceremony and keep everyone in line. He pays attention to little details as well, like making sure everyone took off their sunglasses. He came to the rehearsal the night before to meet everyone and give input on where people should stand and when to pause for photos to get the best shots. We did not pay for a videographer and with all the wonderful photos, we did not need one. He was able to capture the day so perfectly that we will be able to relive our perfect wedding day forever. He was there from getting ready in the morning, to the final dance at the end of the night. There is also the added bonus with Peer of the cost - we received quotes from several photographers so we know that he should absolutely charge more than he does (though we are happy he doesn’t, haha!) In the future, we would (and hopefully will) rehire Peer again. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone without hesitation! We ended up with over 1200 incredible photos, and he sent them to us only a week and a half after the wedding. We were still on our honeymoon, looking through our wedding photos. Peer - Thank you for the wonderful (and massive amount of) photos of our wedding day! You helped make the day more perfect than we ever could have hoped for!

We received our professional pictures very quickly, almost 3 weeks after the wedding. He is always reachable and happily accommodated specific requests we had. Not to mention, his super talented wife, who was my hair and make up artist.

Since our venue was new and he hadn't photographed there before, he even came for the rehearsal to scope it out and to help us with the ceremony rehearsal. Peer goes above and beyond for his clients. MoH went MIA for the rehearsal, he stepped in and acted as our ad-hoc coordinator; when almost everyone at the ceremony wanted a group shot with the newlyweds on the beach, he tactfully and professionally posed the entire group (and there were A LOT), then offered to take more shots with individual family members standing beside the bride and groom, and then walked along the beach with us for 200 yards, taking many stunning (and possibly some of our favorite) shots. Throughout our ceremony and reception, Peer was simultaneously blending into the background and gathering and directing memorable shots, constantly reminding us to enjoy ourselves and that our leisure and celebration was more important than any timeline, yet becoming direct with guests and family when needed to make sure that we as the bride and groom didn’t have to be and to keep us on schedule. Throughout the day, we had photos taken at multiple complex locations, such as summer gardens with dappled light, seaside cliffs with wind and bright sun, and a public beach with background beachgoers and reflections off the ocean. He was prepared and well-equipped to handle each of these challenges and did so effortlessly and almost without mention. We are extremely pleased with both his performance and how our photos turned out and we would highly recommend Peer to anyone planning a wedding in San Luis Obispo County or the California Central Coast, as he definitely helped to make our wedding amazing and our pictures a perfect representation of the day.

The photos he takes are absolutely gorgeous, and feel very personal and unique--we LOVE them and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. For the level of work Peer does, you'd expect to pay dearly for it, but that's the best part--he was also the most affordable photographer we researched in the area, by a long shot. Unlike most of the wedding photographers in the area, Peer did not put a time limit on the day and he made himself available when it made most sense for our schedule. When we asked him to start a bit earlier to make sure he could spend some time with both the bride and groom getting ready, he was willing to do so without a problem. He also came and photographed our welcome party the evening before the wedding for a few hours, and we are so happy we have some professional shots of that evening. point. For the quality, his wedding day package was one of the lowest we had found and on top of it, he offered unlimited shoot time on the day of the wedding. I love that he cared enough to want to get all of the best moments throughout the night regardless of "overtime hours". We felt 100% comfortable having him be apart of our big day. Not only did he help us get through the nitty gritty of wedding photos in a quick and efficient manner (i.e. endless family portraits), but helped create a calm and exciting atmosphere prior to the ceremony during our individual photo sessions as well as while we were getting ready. He seemed to blend in seamlessly to our group of guests and never stuck out throughout the night as he captured our favorite moments. Because he had worked with some of our vendors at our venue before, it was so helpful that he was able to direct us with ease, especially since our entire timeline was running late due to a late shuttle bus full of guests. Once we received our photos, which came so much quicker than we expected, we were thrilled to see how he was able to capture the energy of the group and not to mention the exquisite lighting and scenery of Big Sur's coastline. The timing ended up perfect for our sunset dinner and created the warmest backdrop for our family style dinner. All in all, we feel that he was able to capture who we are and what we wanted to show our friends and family on our wedding day. Because we chose not to have a videographer, the photographer was an extremely important decision and we feel that we can now relive that day and the love that encircled us forever with these photos. not disappoint. At our first meeting he was professional, polite and engaging. With his laid back personality, he was easy to talk with and immediately made us feel comfortable. He's also quite affordable for the quality of work and he's worth every penny! For months we planned our evening wedding in beautiful garden setting, but at the time of our event, Mother Nature had a different idea. The day of our wedding it rained, ranging from a light mist to a complete downpour. Plus, the wind picked up and the fog rolled in. What could have been a disaster for some brides, Peer turned into an awesome adventure of must have wedding pictures. So incredibly thankful he showed up early and took charge. Not only did he wrangle everyone over to get those must have wedding photos (multiple times) he patiently dealt with family members, both immediate and extended, who wouldn't listen, loud friends who clearly had to much to drink and rambunctious kids that wanted to run through every shot. Through it all, he had a smile on his face and completely exceeded our expectations. I think he exceeded everyone's expectations, as most of our guests commented on how fantastic he was. At the end of the day, it comes down to this.... He's friendly , professional and hardworking. He listened to the ideas in my head and transformed them into artistic creations we can always treasure. I would, hands down, hire Peer again and I would definitely recommend his services to all my friend and family. We can't thank him enough!!!

pictures isn't exactly the first thing on your mind. When you have a photographer like Peer who is so well organized and on his A-game, he does the thinking for you! I was so thankful I had Peer to bring everyone together for group shots and to keep us moving from table to table in order to get a picture with all of our guests. He put in time ahead of the wedding to get a feel for what areas of our venue would be best for pictures and gave us suggestions for the best photo ops. He was an immense help on a very busy day and I am so thankful we chose him as our photographer. He puts in the work and it shows!

he was shooting constantly and got tons of great shots of us, our friends & family, our venue, and all the little details of the decor, food, etc. He offers just the right amount of direction in regards to posing and positioning and his awesome attitude makes you feel very comfortable. The best thing about working with Peer is how professional he his- he was very familiar with our venue (Point 16) so he knew exactly where & when to get the shots through out the various points of the day. This allowed my groom and I to really experience our wedding day and celebrate with our guests rather than missing out because we were busy taking photos. I was expecting a few weeks at the very earliest, but I had over 1,200 images waiting in my inbox before I even got home from my honeymoon! so beautiful)! He was super responsive right from when I first emailed him for general information through engagement pictures and the wedding. He is very organized and on top of things (like scheduling the timing of pictures that day and making sure we get all the shots we wanted) but also has a super calming/relaxed energy about him that made us feel comfortable the second we met him. It never felt like we were rushed and he kept reminding us to savor the moments and enjoy the time we had together on our wedding day. He offered enough suggestions on what we should do (i.e. walk this way, move your head that way), but not too much where it felt posed or stiff. I was a little worried when first booking him about the fact that he works by himself (doesn't come with a second photographer) since I always thought how could 1 photographer possibly get all shots. Well I was wrong, somehow he gets it all! My guests even mentioned they never really noticed him. He isn't one of those photographers running all over the place and distracting during a ceremony, but somehow he does get every shot you would want. Peer also has a clause in his contract that says he will have our wedding pictures ready within 4 weeks of our wedding. We got the link to see all the pictures within a week and a half while we were still on our honeymoon! To top it all off, Peer is one of the less expensive photographers in the area and the only one I found that also makes you an album (in addition to DVDs with all pics) and doesn't have a time limit on the day of (he was there from getting ready through the last dance)! Thank you so much Peer! We couldn't be happier :)
