We had several special requests (i.e., taking pictures at Oktoberfest after the wedding) and Peggy and Dave accommodated them all! They were also super flexible, as it was so hot the day of the wedding and after just a couple of outside shots, we decided we wanted to go back inside. They were able to change our initial plan and took the photos inside instead. We were so pleased with how quickly we got the photos back. Hundreds of beautiful pictures and edited perfectly. I would definitely recommend Peggy and Dave!!

uch a short timeline was stressful; Peggy Harmeyer Photography was recommended to me by a local Louisville-based photographer who was unavailable for my date (for our Covington, KY wedding.) I was unfamiliar with their work, but took one look at the website and knew I was interested in learning more. From the minute I made contact, they took the stress out of this aspect of my planning! Peggy and Dave made sure they were available to meet on a day that worked for my schedule, as I was driving up to see family in Cincinnati from Louisville. I hired them on the spot. I could tell they were excited and passionate about photography and would do everything they could to capture our day perfectly. I wanted to squeeze in an engagement session too, but my fiancé was traveling from his home of Alabama, which limited our options even more. They didn’t have any issue fitting us in. The engagement day was freezing cold, but you can’t tell that we were (all) suffering! They turned out beautifully. On the day of the wedding, Peggy and Dave captured our detail photos in a separate space to allow for the bridal party to enjoy our hotel room fully. They still managed to capture some great getting ready photos — to be honest, I didn’t even notice them there for this part! Dave eventually split off to get some photos of the guys. My husband said Dave blended right in, pulled him aside to get the individuals of the groom, and quickly got him back to hanging out with his groomsmen. After the ceremony they captured our requested family formals, a few bridal party shots, and then Peggy walked with my husband and me the short few blocks to the reception site for some candids that I wanted. To be honest, these are my favorite pictures from the day! It gave us a few minutes to be alone before the reception and we look so comfortable and happy — it felt like the engagement session all over again! I was anxious to get the reception/party going after the ceremony, and Peggy and Dave worked with me to still make sure we captured what I requested in the planning, while also finishing the group photos when I felt like I had enough. You won’t regret using Peggy Harmeyer Photography for your wedding photos! We will cherish ours for many, many years to come!

Peggy and Dave have very reasonable prices opposed to other photographers in the area and take better quality pictures than the other photographers. in then that the day was going to be in great hands! They have a questionnaire that pretty much has you answer any question you could think of for the day of! I loved that they went the weekend before our wedding and scoped our the best spots outside, with where the sun would be for the shot to make sure the photos they were getting were perfect! They took their time to make sure our “had to have shots” were taken. They paid attention to the time to make sure we weren’t staying at one location too long, they were swift when taking the candid shots (didn’t even know they were there), and polite to all our guests. They made sure during the ceremony that they took the shots they needed and didn’t linger to obstruct anyone’s view of our nuptials. Peggy and Dave did an amazing job capturing our perfect moments! Their pricing is more than fair for the work they put in! We received our edited photos back within 2 weeks, which was great considering they took over 2000 photos! so nice and non-invasive. I wanted bright photographs with a unique perspective! They did traditional photos and caught awesome candids. They came prepared with several different poses for all members so it took the guessing out of what to do and how to pose. The editing was AMAZING! I can not recommend them enough, I would hire them again and again! I wish I could post some of my favorite photos to this review so that you can see their amazing work first hand! Peggy also sends a style guide that gives tips on how to dress, how to tell your family about what photos you want, and a timeline organizer that gets you super prepared for your day. Peggy takes all the stress out of photography and devliers amazing results!
