Peggy made us a beautiful cake!! We just wanted a small cutting cake and our local friends recommended Peggy for aesthetic “not too sweet” cakes. She worked hard to understand our vision for the cake, and sent us photos the day before our wedding for any last minute changes we’d like. Although she did take awhile to respond to our emails, overall a very smooth process and a wonderful cake design!

Peggy's desserts taste AMAZING and they're beautiful!! We were extremely happy with the delicious array of mini desserts and the adorable smash cake for our daughter! She even let us rent many of her beautiful cake stands and dessert platters for our event. The planning and coordination were effortless and Peggy was so lovely to work with. Our guests were sad all the desserts were gobbled up so quickly and even asked if they could have dessert before the main course haha. We originally booked Peggy for our wedding but had to delay the reception for 2 years due to COVID. By that time my husband and I already had a small impromptu wedding ceremony instead of a huge celebration and were also welcoming our first daughter. We asked if we could switch the event from a wedding reception to our daughter's first birthday celebration. Peggy was extremely flexible and understanding about the delay--we couldn't have been more grateful for her patience during those 2+ years. We HIGHLY recommend Peggy for all your custom cakes and desserts! Her flavor combinations are perfect!

Peggy was my dream dessert vendor for months before I finally reached out to her for our wedding on 6/18/22. Let me just say that I was right to have her as a dream vendor, because she is incredible and a true artist! My now husband and I didn't have a clear vision of what exactly we wanted our cake to look like, so we just sent a few inspo photos that captured the vibe that we liked and otherwise gave her full creative control. As a result, we didn't have any idea what our cake would look like until we saw it on the wedding day and Peggy absolutely, 1000% DELIVERED. I legitimately CRIED when I saw the cake, it was everything I dreamed of and completely captured the vibe we were shooting for. Sheer perfection. It was my favorite design detail of the day. It tasted amazing too! It was a vanilla cake with passionfruit curd, mascarpone cream, blueberry sauce and cream cheese frosting with an Italian buttercream exterior. We also had a few mini desserts (hojicha madeleines, rose raspberry ispahan, mini lemon curd tarts, cream puffs, and chocolate bites) that were also delicious! The only regret we have is not ordering more mini desserts; they were so popular that we didn't even get to try the cream puffs and I very nearly missed out on the raspberry rose ispahan! Peggy herself is also so incredibly sweet, and such a pleasure to work with. She puts so much care and love into all of her desserts, and her prices are so reasonable and 100% worth it. She also has a super cute dog we got to meet at our tasting! :) Peggy, thank you so very much!

With Peggy, you will without a doubt have the most beautiful cake and desserts. We received so many compliments on our cake/dessert table from how it all looked to how delicious they tasted. And all that comes with the creativity, thoughtfulness, and kindness of sweet Peggy who pours so much love and care into what she does. VISUAL - Design is SO important for me. Peggy worked with my planner and I to create a cohesive look that went with my theme. I'm pretty particular and she was able to go above and beyond to include my random requests. She really listens to you and ensures your needs are met. She debuted her roseberry ispahan on our wedding to tie in my request as well and it was such a hit! Our wedding cake even somehow matched my bridesmaid dresses. Our dessert table is easily one of my favorite "statement" pieces at our wedding. Her pastry work is truly, truly a work of (he)art. FLAVORS - My husband and I had a few tastings with Peggy because her flavors are so on point, it was hard to choose. The sweetness level is perfect because it wasn't too sweet (ultimate compliment for Asian tastebuds) and still flavorful. We went with her vanilla blueberry/passion fruit flavor. The cake, as well as all the desserts were gone - without exaggeration. We had to request another "cake tasting" after the wedding just so my husband and I can have another taste since we only had our one bite at the cake cutting. Our guests had Asian-style 10 course meal with its own dessert, but even then, all of Peggy's desserts were gone. My guests are desserts-lovers and my only regret is that I didn't order more! I still follow and look at Peggy's social media posts and I'm always awestruck by her beautiful creations. I'm a huge fan of her work and her personality. I'm so honored to have had her on our big day and I look forward to when I can have another event where I hope to have her there again.

Peggy is the absolute best and I'm so happy that she was available to create all the desserts for my wedding! She is so sweet, incredibly talented, and has a great eye for designing the perfect cake for her couples! She has a wide range of flavors to choose from and makes the cake designing process really fun and easy. She is truly an artist and amazing baker/pastry maker. My husband and I had a great tasting experience and left excited with a box of our leftover treats to enjoy on the car ride home. It was a hard decision because they were all amazing, but we ended up picking the vanilla cake with passionfruit curd, mascarpone cream, blueberry sauce and cream cheese frosting as well as the cream puffs w/ ube and passionfruit cream, tiramisu verrines, brownie bites and mini fruit tarts. My side of the family prefers lighter, not-so-sweet desserts and my husband's side prefers rich, decadent desserts. Peggy made sure that we had something to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth! On our wedding day, it was no surprise that all our guests LOVED our wedding cake and mini desserts. We had about 75 people and the entire three tier cake was gone by the end of the night! Luckily, my husband and I were able to have a couple of mini desserts to eat after our reception ended. We even had one of our engaged couple friends ask us who made our cake because they loved it so much! Thank you for making our wedding day much sweeter and so special!

Peggy is an absolute ARTIST! I am blown away by her talent. We were referred to Peggy by our wedding stylist who has worked with Peggy many times. First, we picked up a package of different cake flavors and mini desserts to taste before hiring Peggy – they were delicious! After we signed on with Peggy, she worked with my stylist to draft a mood board for the vision of my cake, considering the style of the night and the backdrop in the venue. This cake was a SHOWSTOPPER – it was as delicious as it was beautiful. We also had a table of mini assorted desserts which was a hit amongst our guests. Each dessert was made to perfection. We received so many compliments on both the cake and desserts. You are in great hands if you work with Peggy, I cannot speak more highly of her.

Peggy was one of my faaaavorite vendors! She was definitely Italy a fave of my guests too. My guests still rave about the cake she made us for our wedding. It was so good many of my guests fought for a second slice! Also, she truly is an artist! Her cakes are a work of art! She is so sweet and easy to work with. I can’t wait for other events to hire her again. She is soooo good at what she does! Highly recommend peggy!!

Peggy was amazing from the first tasting to finalizing the design and seeing the actual product. She is super friendly and easy to talk to, and very willingly to accommodate my request, but also to find a way to fit my budget. We are so happy with not only the design of the cake, but also how tasty it was! Can't be more happy with the service Peggy provided. I've also ordered a baby shower cake for a friend before my wedding. Peggy also surprised me with the design!

Peggy is so sweet, easy to work with, and SO talented!! I am absolutely not a cake person and I would eat the wedding cake she made for us for dessert every day. She's so creative and made us a cake unlike any I've ever seen. After seeing her work, I gave her our colors and a few cakes I liked the look of and said "surprise me" and she made the MOST gorgeous cake that went so perfectly with the rest of our wedding but still completely stood out on its own. I'd use Peggy again and again and highly recommend her!!

Peggy is an exceptional baker, designer and woman, who is genuinely passionate about her work. I've worked with her on and off over the past two years because our wedding was rescheduled 3x due to COVID, and I am grateful to have had various events over the time period to try (and indulge in) many of her lovely cakes and single serving desserts. Over that time I also began following her on instagram and learned that she is constantly experimenting with improved design and adding to her creative skill set. Our wedding cake and the accompanying treats on our eventual wedding day were as beautiful as they were delicious and I 100% recommend her. On top of that, she provided some day of wedding decorative and functional pieces to our dessert table that we had overlooked, ultimately allowing us to enjoy our day stress free and perfect. From our first bite of cake in our to-go tasting box, we knew we needed to hire Peggy for our wedding. Her cakes are the most delicious we have ever tasted and she offers yummy mini desserts too! Peggy is so sweet, easy to work with and helpful when it comes to suggesting quantities for your guest count or suggesting cake design elements. It’s hard to find someone who can deliver delicious AND beautiful desserts but Peggy does. Our wedding cake was a piece of art! Peggy designed the 3-tier cake based on a few meetings we had virtually and I couldn’t have imagined anything so perfect. She handmade wafer paper flowers which fit our wedding perfectly. Everything was delivered to the venue on time and she offers dessert tray display rentals which made it super easy! Peggy is incredibly talented. I would book Peggy over and over again. Peggy did an absolutely wonderful job with our wedding cake. We knew the minute we had our tasting that we wanted her to do our cake- BEST DECISION EVER. Just like her desserts, Peggy is the sweetest! My now husband and I are not big fans of cake so we opted for a table that would feature various mini desserts. This was also a great way to get people to interact with the dessert rather than be served a single slice of cake for the evening. We decided on 4 of her signature mini desserts and requested mini churros as well since we were serving up tacos and margaritas for our wedding. The churros were amazing and she even provided a classic chocolate dipping sauce for them! She really outdid herself! Everything was amazing. People enjoyed every single option and the table was gone within minutes! My only regret is that we didn't ask for more options because I wanted to taste more of her creations! Thank you Peggy for the beautiful desserts!

Our wedding planner referred us to Peggy, and we were beyond thrilled to get to work with her! We loved all the cakes from her tasting but our favorite was the black forest, which was perfectly moist and rich without being overly sweet. We showed Peggy our colors and a couple of inspiration photos, and she designed an absolutely stunning cake for our micro wedding. We went with the paper wafer flowers that she makes from scratch, but she also offers the option to use fresh flowers. Our family was raving about the cake for days. I continue to follow Peggy on social media and am constantly in awe of the gorgeous desserts she designs! We can’t wait to work with her again for any future events.

Peggy has an elegant eye when creating a cake for your special day. She is very attentive to your wants and picks up on things that you might have overlooked. Peggy has a delicious assortment of flavors that will leave you second-guessing your choice because they are all so good. We had the vanilla cake with blueberries and passion fruit. It left our guests wanting more. All of the desserts she made for us looked and tasted amazing. ALWAYS get more than what you think you might need I had guests that wanted more because they were delicious.

Best small business desserts I've ever had. Peggy did the desserts for our wedding back in December and people couldn't stop talking about it. We had a vision and gave her a challenge and she nailed it! I have nothing but amazing things to say about her desserts. You definitely won't be disappointed. We found Peggy through our wedding planner’s recommended vendor list and we’re so happy we did! We didn’t know what to expect with the cake selection process, but Peggy was super easy to work with and made us feel really comfortable. After we submitted our initial inquiry, Peggy was prompt in replying and provided us with details about the menu and pricing. Everything was straightforward and there were no surprises. We were able to schedule a time to visit Peggy’s home studio for a tasting. She was able to work with our schedule which was helpful since we’re from Northern California and only had a few weekends in San Diego before the wedding. During the tasting, we got to try a lot of different flavor and filling combinations. One of the things we liked most was that Peggy had more traditional combinations, as well as some really unique options that we would have never considered (we ended up selecting a white cake with passion fruit and blueberry filling which was amazing). Peggy walked us through each of the beautifully presented options, sharing more details about why certain things were paired with others. It was definitely a hard choice but talking through our options with her made us feel confident in our decision. Peggy also used this time to talk to us about design. She worked with us to understand our style, showed us a couple ideas she had in mind, and after our tasting, followed up with a handful of designs for us to choose from. Being unsure of what we wanted the cake to look like when we started the process, we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It matched the design of the rest of our wedding perfectly! We also got rave reviews from our guests who mentioned how the cake was both stunning and delicious. Peggy even delivered our cake and provided a cake stand and serving utensils - we couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re considering Peggy for a wedding or upcoming event, we’d highly recommend her. From our cake tasting to the day of, Peggy wowed me with her flavors and design. Clearly she is passionate about her work and I felt like eating her desserts was like eating a piece of art. Cancel your other cake tasting appointments and call Peggy now. Her cakes are so unique, this is not your typical white buttercream and berry wedding cake. She made our 3-tier wedding cake, and it was both delicious and beautiful. It's hard to nail both, but she did it. Our guests loved our cake! The design was this beautiful soft blush watercolor with gold foil. Stunning, elegant and unique. We tasted a few different flavors and chose the vanilla cake with passionfruit curd, blueberry sauce, mascarpone, and cream cheese frosting. A close runner up was the banana cake with banana cream, cream cheese frosting, salted caramel and fresh banana. You may think, ok, wow, but how much is this going to cost me? Trust me, I called all the other top wedding bakeries in San Diego and she charges much less than them for a more superior product. Even her cake tasting is almost half the price of the city's leading wedding bakery. Working with her was super easy - we scheduled a cake tasting (super cute set up, very IG worthy!) and she accepts Venmo. She also rented us a super cute cake platter and delivered on time. Highly, highly recommend Peggy!

Peggy is just amazing! My wedding cake and desserts were all made by Peggy. After hearing all the good stuff and reviews from friends, I decided to do a tasting with her along with other bakeries as well. Her tasting was very thorough and delicious! I couldn’t even decide which flavors and different kinds of desserts to have on the wedding because they were all so yummy! First of all, she is very sweet and friendly. She listens to you and designs the cake just the way you like. My wedding cake turned out to be exactly what I wanted and even more unique and artistic. Everyone loves the wedding and desserts. I would absolutely recommend Peggy to all of you!

Peggy did an incredible, top-tier job for our wedding. We contacted and did tastings at 5+ cake vendors and hers blew us out of the water. We got a cake and various mini desserts from her. The desserts look and taste like none other. They are beautiful, intricate, and not too sweet, and her pricing is more affordable than most! She will pour her heart and soul into making amazing desserts for your wedding and is reliable and diligent. You can't go wrong with Peggy!

Peggy made wedding cakes and desserts for our wedding at the Darlington House in La Jolla and everything turned out perfect! One of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding. She is pleasant to work with, accommodating to our budget, approachable during the planning and super professional on the wedding day. Not only she designed a beautiful wedding cake that brought my vision into life, every thing was so DELICIOUS. Our wedding guests kept talking about how good the desserts were afterwards. To achieve the watercolor look I wanted for the wedding cake, Peggy explained different frosting options and patiently worked out a plan for us. In addition to wedding cakes, we got mini desserts - tiramisu, mango panna cotta and macha cheesecake bar. Peggy set up such a beautiful dessert table on the wedding using her own decor and handwritten dessert cards. She really listened to us and created a unique cake and dessert table for our special day. Everything was just what we expected and better. We really appreciate the amazing job she's done. We had a super super pleasant experience with Peggy, who not only made the fantastic 3-layer wedding cake for our pre-wedding party, but also helped a lot in decorations of the event place. Peggy is so helpful and her cake has the best look and taste with reasonable price ! I would recommend her to anyone who wants to have event cakes/desserts. One of my friends refered Peggy and her amazing cake to us. We first scheduled a tasting where we tried 4 different sample cakes and various small desserts. Then we had a lot of communications not only about the cake/dessert, but also on the decorations of the party. Peggy gave us great ideas on how to decorate the place, the table of cake, as well as flowers. During the party, Peggy and her husband delivered the cake in person, and helped decorate the cake and the table, which has made our party so fancy and beatiful. I really appreciate for her business and kind help. The entire process feels almost like a good friend dedicating to make your party successful, than doing regular business with a merchant.
