Absolutely incredible food! They did everything we asked, even some special requests.

PEJ was a great catering choice for our wedding! We chose their passed apps during cocktail hour and a BBQ Buffett with brisket and roasted chicken for dinner. All of our guests said the food was delicious! They were very detail oriented, helpful during the planning process, and ensured our guests and ourselves were taking cared for and well fed lol. They were incredibly helpful with our dessert table and our wedding cake as well, even though they were from a different vendor. We were also incredibly grateful to the catering team to packing up a dinner for us to-go after the wedding, which was needed!

My husband and I got married in April 2024, and we loved working with PEJ Catering. We had a lot of guests who were visiting Texas for the first time ever, so it was important for us to serve Tex-Mex for our wedding. PEJ delivered a delicious fajita buffet and salsa bar, as well as a well-run drink bar, with friendly and professional staff. Before the big day, we worked with Kristin who was organized, fast to respond, and always willing to help when we had questions or concerns. Thank you so much PEJ!

PEJ is THE BEST caterer!! They were the kindest, most reliable company to work with! They also have delicious food! PEJ was very accommodating, super nice and professional on the day of, very efficient, and overall FANTASTIC!! I was also able to rent linens through them so I didn’t have to worry about it! I will absolutely recommend PEJ to anyone who is needing food for their wedding!

We loved having PEJ cater our wedding! We worked with Kristin, and she was so great to work with. She had strong communication, and she was SO nice! Outside of the 5 star service, the food was so delicious and we received so many compliments on it. Everyone wants BBQ when they come to Texas, so this was a huge win at our wedding! Once we set up a tasting, we knew that this would be our catering choice; not only because of the amazing flavors & choices for food but also the amazing service provided to us by Kristin. She helped us all along the way before the wedding to make sure that our menu was accurate. She also made herself available to answer any lingering questions we had. She even recommended adding linens to our contract to make it easier for us! The team on the day of was also very professional & ensured that my husband & I got our fair share of appetizers along with our meals first. They even packed some plates for us to take after the wedding, which were demolished the next day! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you again PEJ. <3

We used PEJ for our wedding on 5/25/24. We opted for the smoked fajita buffet. Our food was amazing! Everyone loved it. We are still getting compliments on how good everything was. The service was top notch and they were very easy to work with. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for delicious food on their special day.

Kristin with PEJ’s was super helpful in coordinating and working with us to create our menu and determine our final headcount. The food was AMAZING!! We had people from out of state and even local Texans RAVING about this BBQ and the sides. Everything was moist, even the turkey which is kinda rare for BBQ. I was thoroughly impressed! The staff was also so kind, and very on the ball. They served everyone swiftly and made sure me and my husband were taken care of the whole night. I would definitely recommend PEJ for catering!

They were absolutely terrific! The food was highly complimented throughout the event and since by all of our guests. We had a Texas BBQ setup and the line was absolutely beautiful and easy to navigate. They hand carved the meat for each guest, which left a great impression, and really stood up to the high quality of the food. The bar service was professional and well-organized. They served all our guests expediently and even coordinated with our wedding producer to ensure everyone had drinks for the toasts and for last call. They were immensely helpful in maintaining a clean and organized space, with efficient and seamless bussing of tables. They set up and took down very well. We also had them cut the cake for us and everyone enjoyed receiving those slices. Throughout the planning process, Mona was extremely helpful and responsive. I had a multitude of questions for her and she answered all of them clearly, quickly, and thoroughly. It was such a pleasant and painless process. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great team, really high quality delicious food, and peace of mind on the day of your wedding.

We had our wedding at Stonehouse Villa and had the food and catering done with Kristin Shrimplin at PEJ Events. Kristin was wonderful to work with and helped us figure out a menu that fit into our budget and would work with the venue space. She held our hand throughout the entire process which was awesome since we live out of state. I would highly recommend PEJ for your events. The food was delicious, and the presentation was amazing.

We used PEJ for catering and bartending at our April wedding. They did an amazing job. They were easy to work with during the planning process. We got all of our linens from them too. The fajita buffet was so good and everyone complimented the meal. Our servers and bartenders were so friendly and kind. They seemed to be enjoying the celebration too! The drinks were all well made and mixed too. They even put back a bottle of gin specially for me to ensure they could keep making bees knees' just for the bride. I would definitely use PEJ for your wedding!

For our wedding, we chose brisket and turkey BBQ catered by PEJ. Everything was delicious! We had a buffet style serving station and they did a great job getting everyone through the line. We loved that they served generous portions! We would definitely recommend their services for any event.

We were absolutely delighted with PEJ catering at our wedding! The team was phenomenal—professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The mushroom tartlets were a standout during the appetizer course! For the main courses, the steak with mushroom Demi sauce and the chicken with lemon beurre blanc were particularly exquisite, cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with their respective sauces. Our guests were raving about the quality of the food!! Their attention to detail and commitment to quality made our dining experience unforgettable. We went with PEJ for our catering, as well as bartending! To say that it was the best decision ever would be an understatement. Our guests were raving all night about how much they loved the apps and food (we went the Tex-Mex buffet route). My husband and I also loved the energy the bartenders brought to our reception! If you are thinking about booking PEJ, do it - you also get a tasting too, which was delicious!

It's been nearly 3 months since our wedding day and we STILL have people talking about the food! From beginning to end, the entire process was so easy and fun! Mona was a dream to work with, so personable and she really took the time to make sure our vision for our day came to life. She had no problem tweaking the cocktails to better fit our guest's tastes, and even made a mocktail for our non-drinkers. The food was incredible, the service was top notch, and if we could do it over, we would pick PEJ Events every time!

The catering and bartending were top notch! The servers were attentive, and the food and drinks were delicious. Mona was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs.

Our food was hands down our most complimented aspect of our wedding. We went with a buffet - PEJ cut all the meat there and served it to our guests. They also made sure to send us home with to-go bags which we were SO grateful for. The team treated us like family during out wedding and Kristin, who I planned the day with, was truly the most sweet and informative person to work with. They also helped us get a few things ordered from Premiere rentals (donut wall, plateware, etc). It was so nice to be able to do everything through them. I’m still dreaming about our food. PS - get the wagyu meatballs for apps. YUM!

PEJ was the perfect catering and bartending vendor for our wedding. From the initial conversations with Mona, to the staff on site during the day, it was so easy to work with PEJ. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, and we felt that we got an amazing value compared to other catering options we explored. I really appreciated that they continued to check on me and my husband throughout the night to see if we needed drinks or more food. We were very lucky to have hired PEJ. Guests loved both food quantity and quality. Pricing was competitive for the Austin area. Service exceeded expectations - they quickly moved people through a buffet line, handled setup and breakdown, and were endlessly attentive to us both during the event and in the days leading up to it. I'm especially grateful for Kristin's responsiveness and professionalism - PEJ patiently answered our 1000 questions and was able to redo the event plan when we had to move things indoors last minute. I can't imagine a reason to pay another caterer any more than what PEJ might quote.

We used PEJ Events for our rehearsal dinner -- which ended up being more of a Welcome Party with 100 guests. PEJ was super easy to work with, very reasonably priced, and we would absolutely book with them again! We did the BBQ option and nearly every guest told us how much they loved the food!

PEJ was the best choice for our wedding, and we were so thankful we decided to use them for our wedding! We got so many positive reviews from friends and family regarding how delicious our food was and how it was the BEST wedding food they had ever had. I even saw people post photos on Facebook of our food! Everything was so smooth and easy with them. Portion sizes, presentation, variety of options, flavor/taste, rentals, communication, and serving speed were all perfect! I have nothing but the highest praise for them and there is nothing they could have done better!

PEJ was amazingggg! Our venue required for us to choose from a list of approved vendors - catering being one of them. But let me tell you - PEJ was worth every penny. Not only was the service absolutely stellar, the food was top notch! We got compliments all night about how yummy everything was. I even managed to eat at my own reception and can attest to a 10/10 meal! I highly, HIGHLY recommend PEJ.

PEJ was an outstanding choice for our dauther's wedding at the end of May 2023! Kristin's communication was outstanding throughout the entire process. I had many very detailed questions at the very end and she never made me feel like I was bothering her. We chose their passed appetizers and Signature Smokehouse Buffet. WOW it was amazing! We had so many compliments and the presentation was beautiful. The food was hot (that was a big thing for me for a buffet) and it was replenished in a very timely manner. Our experience with PEJ was top notch and we were all thrilled with our food choice. Thank you Kristin and team for an outstanding experience!

We absolutely loved PEJ! The brisket was amazing! All of the sides (we had the baked potato casserole, jalapeño corn bread casserole, green beans almandine, and the southwest salad) were delicious too! They were very professional and provided amazing service! All of the guests said how awesome the food was! We were extremely happy with their BBQ buffet option. They provided our cocktail hour appetizers as well, which were so good! The bacon wrapped quail legs and the meatballs were amazing. Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for a better food option for our reception! We loved it so much that when we got home we had leftovers for dinner the next day. They were also very quick to respond to my many emails.

BBQ was not going to be my first choice for my wedding, but my venue had required preferred catering selection. However, PEJ Events had everything we wanted, was the most cost effective, and the food and drinks were perfect!! The bartender was everyone's favorite at our wedding and we received the most compliments on him. He was so attentive he even had a drink sent to my dad when he noticed he was out. The servers were great and made sure that we ate our food first so we could walk around to visit our guests. Lori Simon, the event specialist for PEJ was so quick to answer any questions and emailed back so fast which I loved. The food was good and plentiful, and we never ran out of mixers at the bar. The staff helped set up and tear down at the venue which took off all the work for family and friends. I would totally recommend PEJ Events for any wedding.

The food was amazing. Everyone raved about the ribs and turkey, and all the sides were fantastic. The wait staff and lead were also great, and helped us so much. The bartenders were amazing, and Mateo was one of most thoughtful bartenders I have ever met. Outstanding job!

Our guests were all from out of town and enjoyed the wonderful, elevated BBQ from PEJ. We included the ribs, brisket, sausage, and smoked turkey along with a selection of sides…everything was delicious! And the homemade cobbler dessert bar with Amy’s Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream is NOT to be missed! We highly recommend PEJ!

We used PEJ for a rehearsal dinner. Lori Simon was our contact. The full-service caterer did just that. From the set-up, linens, servers, clean up, they did it all. The BBQ was exceptional. Plenty of it. Lori answered my questions in a timely manner, was helpful and pleasant all the time. This was planned long distance, so it was comforting to deal with an expert.

Great communication with event planner. Set up tasting for us. Food was amazing! Head server was great. Made bride and groom to go plates as we didn’t have much time for eating. They also cut up and served cake!! 5 stars for sure! Got to show our Northern family some Southern BBQ. The Jalapeño cornbread casserole I could swim in!! So good!

PEJ did an amazing job catering my daughters wedding reception! We served appetizers and had food stations with an open bar for 150 guests. The food, presentation and service where beyond perfect. We had many compliments on our PEJ catering from guests. I would definitely use PEJ again for catering!

We did the Fajita option for dinner through PEJ! We wanted an easy option that is universally liked and this checked those boxes! The package we did also included 2 passed appetizers during cocktail hour which were equally enjoyed by our guests. We were able to have a private dinner during cocktail hour and they even packed up an extra meal and cake for us to take after the wedding! They also handled linens (both table cloths and specialty cloth napkins), table set up & bussing. They were absolutely amazing and definitely knew what they were doing!
