- so kind and so attentive, especially Katie who we worked closely with in planning and got to spend some time with during the weekend – she’s the best! The staff at Pelham is a well-oiled machine and our events went so smoothly thanks to their hard work. The venue is gorgeous, the hotel rooms are lovely and very clean, and having your guests stay on site or in the other Pelham locations is so convenient. We have been to a ton of weddings, and the food at ours was top tier. We also ate at the restaurant during our stay and the food was equally delicious. We are so happy we chose Pelham and would recommend to anyone looking for a Cape wedding venue.

erything was incredible. The team worked really hard to get all the rooms ready early as I had quite a few people who were traveling significant distances to come to the wedding. Not only were the rooms I had requested early check in for ready- everyone’s rooms were ready early. Check in was a breeze and we all checked into spotless rooms. Having done a resort buyout, we all had time to hang by the pool firepits and relax before our rehearsal dinner. Our wedding coordinator (and literal angel on earth) Tara ran a smooth rehearsal and everyone knew their role for the next day. Our rehearsal dinner on the rooftop was delicious and the service was amazing. I was worried that with the rooftop restaurant open during our dinner that it would be noisy, but it wasn’t at all and we didn’t even notice anyone else was there. We moved right into our welcome party in the lobby and pool deck and it was perfect. Attentive, friendly bartenders kept our guests happy all night long. From start to finish, the wedding day was perfect. Everyone at Pelham was friendly, attentive, and more than willing to help in any way they could. Someone was constantly checking in with us- whatever we needed it wasn’t hard to find someone to help immediately. There was a team there from the moment we started getting ready (8:30am) until the after party ended at midnight. My guests had nothing but good things to say about the food, drinks, and service. We hosted a Sunday brunch the next day in the ballroom. The team turned that room around so fast and it looked like a completely different space for breakfast, I loved it. If you’re a bride planning to get married at Pelham House and wondering if you need a wedding planner- you don’t! Upon booking at Pelham I was connected with my wedding coordinator, Tara. She was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. She had a quick, thoughtful response for whatever frenzied email I sent her and she eased any anxieties or worries I had. On my wedding day she was always accessible and consistently 3 steps ahead of me, anticipating things I might need. I had a bag of ice in the bridal suite that had leaked on the floor- I felt horrible, not wanting to make a mess for anyone else to clean and quickly tried to gather paper towels etc. to clean it up myself. Before I even had a chance to go back into the room after enlisting help from a few of my bridesmaids, Tara had already cleaned it up. Just one small example of how she’s always right on top of everything. If you’re thinking about having your wedding at Pelham House- stop thinking and do it. We got married on a cold, misty day and I truly don’t think a 60-degree, sunny day would have made our wedding day any more fun than it was!

Our guests raved not only about the gorgeous venue and accommodations but also about our appetizers and dinner. The day was seamless and stress free due to their experienced and dedicated team. ! What’s not to love! The resort has a private beach and pool for all guests to use throughout the weekend so your guests can also make your wedding weekend a mini vacation. The venue is directly next door to where you and your guests will be staying making it an easy “commute” over to the venue when the wedding festivities start. It’s also a great location so it’s easy to explore the Cape if you want to go off the resort! Exclusivity: When you get married at The Pelham House, you have full exclusivity of the resort meaning that only you and your wedding guests can stay on the property. This was a huge selling point to my husband and me and it was the best decision we made. When the reception ends, you can keep the party going all night long with your favorite people because the resort is yours. We had an absolute blast! The Staff: Everyone who works at the Pelham House is truly wonderful. Every staff member was so helpful, nice and amazing at their jobs. Planning a wedding can be stressful nailing down all the little details, but having great people helping you execute your dream day makes the experience 10x better. So thank you to everyone at the Pelham House! Special shout out to Kelly Mannion - Kelsey was our wedding coordinator and helped us have an unbelievable weekend. She was so kind and organized, answered all our questions promptly, and was truly a pleasure to work with! Any couple would be lucky to have her. Seriously, she is the best! The Food: After our wedding, our guests could not stop raving about how incredible the food was. From the hor d'oeuvres to our meals to our wedding cake, everything was fantastic. Casey, Katie, and the rest of the team were so detailed oriented and made planning much less stressful and much more efficient. Not only was the Pelham House team so extremely impressive from a planning standpoint, but their execution was flawless. We don't have one thing to say about the venue or the team that isn't positive. The staff were our rocks through the planning process and through the wedding weekend. Plus, the best part is having all your guests stay in one place since they are most likely from out of town – makes traveling to the wedding easy when it’s right next to your hotel!

c and the border to Canada being closed, we had to postpone our wedding. Pelham was truly understanding and incredibly helpful with allowing us to move our date. When the day finally came, the food was amazing. The resort decor was perfect. And most of all, the staff was fabulous. They checked on the bride multiple times to make sure she was given food and drink. Every staff member that we passed by that weekend asked if they could do anything for us. It was truly a magical weekend.

But by far, it is the people who make the Pelham the perfect Wedding Venue! John McCarthy leads the pack and has supported a culture that breeds that “let’s go” attitude at every level. Grace Grieco knows all the details to make the day sparkle for the Happy Couple and she has a very capable assistant, Alina who picks up wherever needed! Chef Dan works culinary magic both at the events and at the rooftop restaurant! And Pastry Chef Patty made the most beautiful wedding cake fulfilling yet another dream of the bride. We are ever grateful for a “best day ever” produced by Pelham House Resort!

the absolutely perfect wedding weekend. Aside from the obvious in that everyone is so friendly, helpful and accommodating, the entire property is unbelievably well-run across both the hotel and restaurant/wedding venue. My brother-in-law works in the restaurant industry and is always paying attention to the kitchen/wait staff at weddings - he said the Pelham House team is the best he's ever seen at a wedding. Not only was the food incredible (everyone keeps talking about how the filet was perfectly cooked and came out warm for everyone - I don't understand how the do it), but the food was also delivered to every table within an incredibly short window, it was amazing. Grace and her team also collected all of our decor at the end of the night (even little things like the paper table card numbers, which I would have expected to be thrown out) and organized everything into boxes that we could pick up the next day. No question or favor was too small for the PHR team, and every question was answered with a smile. I never had any concerns through the weekend about anything that was within the Pelham House's control - I knew they had it covered. Huge shoutout to Grace for keeping that place a well-oiled machine and always responding to my emails in such a timely fashion and literally always being available - I really don't know how she does it, and the PHR is so lucky to have her. You are in great hands with her and her team if you have your wedding at the PHR. To John and Heather for inspiring such a special staff and vision, and being available to help us as questions or issues came up (though there were really no issues). I'm not even going to spend time talking about how beautiful the venue is or how insane it is to have the whole property/hotel to yourself because I think everyone knows this - but the staff is what makes this place amazing. I even had guests telling me how much they loved their table servers, which they knew by name (especially Vlady!). Yes, there may be other places on the Cape that are less expensive, but you will not get the same level of service or the luxury experience. The room block rates for our guests were also incredible compared to what the rooms are going for on a non-wedding weekend, and are without a doubt the best value for hotel rooms in this area of the Cape. The night before the wedding we had an amazing welcome party by the pool with delicious food from the Pelham House and live music - everyone had a blast, and I can't recommend highly enough having a welcome party by the pool! Then we had a bonfire on the beach with smores - I expected only a handful of people to come to the bonfire, and literally almost everyone from the welcome party made their way down to the beach - everyone was just having so much fun. Everyone keeps telling me ours was the best wedding they're ever been to, and they had so much fun - while this is because all of our vendors were great, it's primarily due the the Pelham House property and staff. Rain or shine, the Pelham House has beautiful options for your ceremony, cocktail hour, etc. Having our friends and family stay onsite with us made it the most unique and special weekend. They really are the best ever - book your wedding here!!!

e event staff, we knew in our hearts that it was the perfect place for our special day. Any issues, concerns, or changes were promptly addressed by Alina and Grace. It was a pleasure to work with Alicia to coordinate our guest’s accommodations. As months turned into days, and days into hours, The Pelham House staff was responsive and helpful every step of the way. The event could not have gone any better! A discouraging, cloudy/rainy forecast turned in our favor just in time for our rehearsal dinner; a Cape Cod barbecue at the pool. The sun shined down on the beautiful property for two full days. It was such a unique experience having exclusive access to the hotel for our guests for both nights. No traveling between hotels, churches, and ballrooms. The view, food, and staff were all spectacular. Servers, kitchen/bar staff, housekeeping, grounds/maintenance, valet, everyone ...they were truly professional. It is clear that everyone at The Pelham House cares about and adds value to their brand. Our family and friends are still talking about what a great time it was. The Pelham House is developing a strong reputation as a premier Cape Cod wedding venue and we’re honored to be one of the first large weddings in their new space. Looking forward to visiting again for anniversaries, special occasions, or just a weekend away! LETS GO!!

Alina helpful and encouraging every step of the way (we switched venues less than two months before the wedding). Seriously.. they jumped right in to help plan.. and they were HAPPY to do so! You can tell they are truly passionate about Pelham House, which makes it even more of a special place. The new renovations are stunning, the view is unbelievable, and the food.. oh my goodness. Not only did we get the PERFECT day, but our guests are even STILL talking about how amazing it all was. Thank you Pelham House for making our dreams come true. I cannot recommend this place enough to other couples!!

s so fun to have 80 of your guests staying right on the property to continue the celebrating at a bonfire after the reception. We wanted a casual, fun ceremony, reception, and after party all in one place, and this was the perfect setting for it. Tim and John are very casual, easy-going, and great to work with. All of their staff are also very kind and welcoming. It was the perfect setting for a beach wedding!!

han I could have imagined! We had family & friends with us for the whole weekend, we enjoyed a cookout the night before, fires on the beach both nights...delicious breakfast each morning. The guest rooms are awesome, the view is spectacular, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They also provided the bar service for the wedding night and the staff was super friendly, we had tons of good wines & beers, signatures cocktails & mixed drinks for those that wanted them. We even were allowed to have our boston terriers in the wedding!!! I can not say enough wonderful things about them! From planning to the actual wedding day they were so helpful! classic Cape Cod. The view is what makes this place truly breathtaking. John and Tim were responsive, flexible and easy to work with. We were thrilled that we were able to make a whole weekend out of our wedding, since they only do one wedding per weekend. Most of our friends and family came in on Friday and stayed through Sunday. We loved that we were able to rent out the entire resort, and the whole place was filled with our friends and family. We were literally surrounded by fun and support the entire weekend! Just keep in mind the rooms are NOT air conditioned -- which wasn't a problem for us since we had ideal wedding weather (I am still thanking God!). The bonfire on the beach after-party was the icing on the cake. S'mores and BYOB. This venue had our name written all over it, and it was perfect for us. Couldn't have asked for more or changed a thing.

ham Bars Inn or the like. It depends which type of Cape wedding you are hoping for. They can accommodate a larger wedding which many other venues on Cape Cod cannot (We had close to 175). You are only renting the grounds of the venue so you have to provide and coordinate EVERYTHING else (tent, chairs, dishes, food). This is exactly what we were looking for so it was perfect for us (we were looking for a venue where we could bring in our own caterer as well). There are close to 40 hotel rooms which can be blocked off for the wedding and there are many hotels nearby if you need more rooms. We had out of town friends and the younger rowdier guests stay there and then older guests and older family stay elsewhere. The rooms are great, the pool area is nice, the lobby is welcoming and spacious, and the included breakfast is good. The Pelham House does run the bar for your event. Their prices are good and they can arrange special requests. You can have a bonfire right on the beach the night before or following the reception as well, we were unfortunately rained out but the lobby worked out as an after hours location. Make sure to follow up with any verbal communication via email (do this for any vendor on the Cape though) and with John (the manager) directly. If you are clear about your needs and expectations they will follow through. We had a fantastic wedding reception and weekend there- our guests had so much fun, loved the rooms, and loved the venue.
