t a few months left, we scrambled to find a more intimate venue. Thankfully, the Pella Historical Museums came to our rescue! Scholte Church: A Gem for Smaller Ceremonies The Pella Historical Museums offered Scholte Church as our ceremony venue, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect for our smaller gathering of less than 10 guests. While the space comfortably accommodated our intimate ceremony, it could easily have hosted a much larger celebration. Plenty of Space for Preparations Beyond the beautiful church, the museum provided additional rooms for the wedding party to get ready. This separation was fantastic and allowed for a calm and organized pre-ceremony experience. Picturesque Spring Backdrop One of the highlights was access to the museum's stunning garden. The vibrant spring tulips created a magical backdrop for our wedding photos. We were able to capture the charm of Pella within the garden itself, saving us time from wandering through town for shots. Supportive Staff During a Hectic Time The staff at Pella Historical Museums deserve immense praise for their flexibility and support. They were incredibly accommodating throughout our compressed planning process, working tirelessly to ensure our special day went smoothly. Highly Recommended for Intimate Weddings While our original wedding plans changed, the Pella Historical Museums turned an unexpected situation into a beautiful and memorable ceremony.
