I really love the look of the final photos and my husband says that the photos have lots of beauty and nostalgia. To me, the photos are just magic. We worked out a schedule with everyone in the weeks before the wedding day and it was a big help to have our photo team's input being that they are real professionals who have done this successfully many times before. We made a list of the must have family portraits we wanted to do and those all turned out great. My favorite photos of the day are also the candids. They got such expressive and fun photographs of our guests and family during the party. I can't believe how hard the photo team worked. I feel really lucky to have such a talented group doing the photography for us on our wedding day. We ordered two acrylic enlargements and one framed enlargement and these all look incredible. We also had a wedding album made and its my new favorite thing ever. Just epic how gorgeous this thing is.

s. I say this because they made us feel SO comfortable while being photographed and this is not an easy thing to do as I'm scared of cameras. The photos are so beautiful they actually brought tears to my eyes. On our wedding day we have a guest signature table with some photographs from our engagement session and so many of our guests were gushing over them. We got TONS of compliments. The wedding photos were just the same kind of AMAZING. The Penguin Ballet team blended in really well with our party and they were always there when needed. od and bad photography, so I'd like to qualify this review by saying that I know a fair amount about what the job can demand and how several studios have delivered or not delivered in the past. Seeing the portfolio of Penguin Ballet really sparked some interest and I decided to meet up and hear more about what they do. From the first meeting, I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and experience. They have photographed over 350 weddings and put lots of heart into their work. The images are impressive, and I found their style to be a great fit for what I was after. It's a mix of the types of documentary/street photography that I like, with well done portraits and candids. They do very nice work with closeups of lots of little things that show their creativity and artistic flare. Their perspective was very current and I knew I had found a photography studio I could trust to document my wedding day. For our engagement session, we worked with Penguin Ballet to find three locations which we wanted to use. And they even helped us with our wardrobe and ideas for what to do. We wanted to create a save the date photo, and they had some ideas about props we could create and ways to take the photo. It all turned out absolutely perfect!! Our wedding day came, and at this point we were very comfortable with our photography team. We had spoke with them about the schedule for the day and had a detailed plan for family portraits, bride and groom portraits, a group portrait of everyone in attendance, as well as a time we could photograph our dogs (the ring bearers). With kindness, passion and skill, they were a part of our wedding day in a way that helped put me and my partner at ease. It is really worth having a photographer you can trust and Penguin Ballet is this. They are experienced technicians, skillful artists, great problem solvers and lots of fun to be around! You will be spending a lot of time with your photographers on your wedding day so I can't say it enough, its important to find those who are a good fit for you. Penguin Ballet was the perfect fit for us and the photographs we have are the most beautiful thing. Thank you so much! We will be loving these photographs forever and ever.

The works produced by team penguin were top of the line. I appreciated their visual perspective and the diversity of quality images. They were amazing, on time, took a TON of photos (which were all lovely), their edited photos were amazing (it's hard to please my mom and she was ecstatic), and i really couldn't have asked for more. The two shooters were really necessary as my brothers used two other photographers for their weddings and were very unhappy with how their photos turned out and moments that their own photographers missed. Isaac even stayed later to make sure we had all the photos that we had wanted prior to leaving which I have never seen anyone do and he really wanted to make sure we got everything that we wanted. You will not regret them!

They spent the entire day with us, from getting ready to the end of the reception and made us feel comfortable, even though neither of us are used to being photographed. The process of selecting our final photos for retouching was wonderful; we were able to sort through all of the digital negatives from the day to truly identify our favorites. This was the hardest review to write because it was difficult to capture all of our appreciation for Penguin Ballet in words. I only wish I had more occasions that require photography so that I could work with them again! As it stands, we will eagerly recommend them to anyone getting married in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The engagement shoot was a great way to get comfortable taking photos, and I really wanted some photos of the two of us that wouldn't be wedding photos. Mission accomplished and then some. I had two locations that I wanted to shoot at and Penguin helped find really beautiful light! The photos are very flattering and we look comfortable and relaxed. I really love them. On the day of the wedding we again had a great experience. My family is a bit of a rowdy bunch and we were able to get family photos done after the ceremony without too much trouble. Penguin was very patient during the day's schedule with a few unexpected hiccups and that was a calming presence to have by our side. Nothing phased them and they seemed to have ideas all the time for photos. They are definitely self starters and most of the day they are taking photos and didn't need any direction from me or my husband. I really love those candid shots so that was a great fit as far as them delivering something that was important to me.

My family is really really weird and Penguin Ballet didn't let on in the slightest (thank you!) - it was as if they had seen it all before. 6) Prompt. They were quick to respond to emails, call and or txt. 5) Late. The reception was going late and cake cutting turned out to be a half hour late, they managed to stay for it anyways, we really appreciate! 4) Cake. Apparently they know the bakery that we got our cake from, and they love it as much as I do. So I definitely trust them for having the same taste in great cake.
