If you're even considering booking Penn Strings, just do it! Chris and Aggie had my ceremony and cocktail hour feeling like a dream! They were even able to do a string version of my favorite song so I could walk down the aisle to it. My wedding would not have been nearly as perfect as it was without them!!

Penn Strings was absolutely incredible! We were in frequent communication leading up to the wedding with all of our song choices. I even had 2 special requests that were not on the list that they arranged amazingly. One was "Lover" by Taylor Swift which I walked down the aisle to. It was such a beautiful moment that I will cherish forever. My husband and I are huge Philadelphia Eagles fans, so they also arranged the Eagles Fight Song as our recessional. Our guests loved it! No one could stop talking about how beautiful the music at the ceremony was. I cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing from the beginning. I loved working with Susanne and Chris - they were incredibly communicative, and Chris offered helpful guidance when we were making our music selections. Most importantly, Chris and Aggie (violinist and cellist) were very talented. The music was beautiful, and they even took a couple of guest requests. They were lovely people who made lovely music. Could not recommend enough.

All I can say is AMAZING! From start to finish, Penn Strings did not disappoint. They were the perfect addition to make our wedding day special. Susanne was friendly, helpful and was available to answer any questions. We went with a Piano Violin duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were absolutely perfect. We can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so special!

Our wedding was 10/15/22 and we had Penn Strings play for our ceremony! We had a string duet with a violin and cello. They were amazing and made our ceremony all the more beautiful. They had a huge song list to chose from! Highly recommend booking them!

The entire booking process was super simple (shout out to the coordinator of Penn Strings, who responded to every email in a timely fashion) and to the artists who came together to make such beautiful music on a day we will remember for the rest of our lives. I had requested "Turning Page" from the Twilight movie as the song I would walk down the aisle to, and no exaggeration, I felt like I was in the movie at that moment in time as I made my way towards my husband. My ultimate dream came true in that moment and I had Penn Strings there to make it all possible. My only regret is that I was not able to attend my own cocktail hour to hear the phenomenal SCOTT BESSER play the piano, which I had wanted for our wedding. I heard great things and am so happy that everyone enjoyed. Thank you again!!!!

Hiring Penn Strings was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were going back and forth about whether to hire live music for the ceremony since we already had a DJ, but, BOY, am I glad we did! We hired a cello and violin duo, and the music was so beautiful and just made the whole ceremony come together. My mom and I started crying as soon as the music started playing while we were waiting to walk down the aisle. They have a huge playlist of songs to choose from and can customize songs that are not on their list for a small price. They allowed us to curate our playlist and made sure we were around when they were playing our favorites. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

THANK YOU to the Penn Strings team! We had a cello and violin duet for our 8/5 wedding, and the entire experience was gorgeous. Susanne was a joy to plan with and her insight was invaluable. We ran a bit late before our ceremony, and I was so thankful that these amazing professionals were so flexible and able to keep our guests entertained. I think it really elevated our ceremony experience, and I couldn't recommend them enough!

Penn Strings made my ceremony so beautiful with their music and their talent! To quote one of my guests "it sounded like there was a full orchestra in the Church- amazing!" They were easy to work with and accommodating with our song selection and working with the Organist at the Church. Penn Strings (Chris and Agnieszka) performed for our summer microwedding as a string duo at Promise Ridge. The music made our day all the more magical and dreamy--totally elevated our intimiate ceremony and reception. Our playlist was extensive and covered contemporary and classical songs. We were all blown away at the talent and professionalism. So glad they were available to perform for our day--wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Go book them! :-) My husband arranged everything with Susanne who was our main point of contact throughout the booking/inquiry process and says she was a joy to work with.

Working with Penn Strings was awesome! Susanne is so sweet and made the entire process so easy! The hardest part was picking songs from their LONG list if options! the variety was so vast, from classical, rag time, to current songs! We had Chris and Aggie play the violin and cello for our first look and ceremony and they did a phenomenal job! Having Penn Strings play is a highlight from our wedding day!

THE BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! When we say these guys are fantastic, we absolutely 100% mean it! They are the most genuine group of people and are seriously talented! We used the string trio for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at reception, they even did a special little number with Pete (the groom) who jumped in and played the guitar. We chose Penn Strings to perform for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and it really elevated the ambiance of our big day. We were so happy with their large variety of classical and contemporary songs, and communication with Susanne was a breeze. We chose the String Duo for our wedding and received so many compliments on how great they were. We would highly recommend Penn Strings to any couple that is looking to add something extra special to their big day.

I was beyond excited to have Penn Strings at our Woodloch wedding on 9/7/2019.  I had seem them perform at several wedding expos within the area and it only made me more excited to have them perform as a trio for us at the ceremony.  They already have quite an extensive variety (both Classical and Non-Traditional) of songs to choose from, and were more than happy to create a custom piece as a surprise for my now husband (let's just say it was probably one of the weirdest requests and Kevin told me they knocked it out of the park!!)  I truly believe there is nothing this company can't do, and Susanne was an absolute pleasure to with with during this entire process.

We could not have asked for a better start to our big day than the beautiful music played at our church ceremony by Stephani Bell (violin) and Franklin Nino (cello). The musicians were incredibly talented and their beautiful performance set the perfect tone for the evening. Working with Penn Strings was an absolute pleasure. As a former violinist and strings enthusiast, I knew I needed some form a strings for my ceremony. Penn Strings fell into my lap. They have a great selection in their repertoire and I loved the option to have something arranged for you, which I took them up on. I decided to have a string trio for the ceremony and they provided the right sense of class and fun. It was great to provide this for our guests and hear them comment on the music.

Penn Strings made our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour beautiful and fun with their ragtime songs and big music selection. We had a piano and violin duo and it was perfect for our 200 person wedding! Susanne was super easy to communicate with and got everything organized. We had to plan our wedding from across the country and Penn Strings made it very easy with their forms you fill out with every possible detail they could need! Definitely would recommend these artists.

They played at my outdoor wedding at Skytop Lodge in the Poconos October 2017. They were very timely about payments, offered music suggestions although they could have lead my non-musically inclined self a bit more, and did just an excellent job playing at the wedding and responding to the timeline/timing cues!! They looked and sounded FANTASTIC. It was an absolute pleasure to have them. My only regret is, as the bride, I barely was around when they were playing. I do remember loving their music while I was taking some after ceremony pics during the cocktail hour. I would hire them again!

It was a true pleasure to work with Penn Strings for our wedding ceremony music. We really appreciated their professionalism and positivity throughout the process - they have an extensive song list and give you complete control over the ‘playlist’ for your day, but can certainly provide great advice if you need some guidance. They also do custom songs if you want to incorporate music that is personally meaningful, which we took advantage of and were very happy with. The Penn Strings musicians are extremely talented - we worked with Chris Souza and we recommend the in-person consult, which was not only valuable but fun and memorable, too!

We hired Penn Strings for our ceremony music and cocktail hour, and were absolutely thrilled with the results. We had a string trio of a violin, cello, and guitar. They were wonderful to work with ahead of time -- responsive and easy to deal with. I had a special song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, so we paid to have them do an arrangement of it, and I was being a bit particular about the sound of the arrangement, and they were AWESOME and came up with an arrangement that sounded exactly how I wanted and had always imagined. The musicians played beautifully and helped make the atmosphere just perfect. We got so many compliments from the guests.
