Penny and Earl were fantastic to work with! They are so fun and easy going - we had a blast during our wedding photo session, even though it was quite warm and we had to dodge some rain (just barely avoided getting soaked!). Have only seen our sneak peek so far but I love everything about our photos! They lighting, the composition, the emotions of the day - we are so very pleased and happy with our choice. Do not hesitate to hire Penny as your wedding photographer!

Working with Penny and Earl was so wonderful. They are super fun and made everything really comfortable. We enjoyed spending time getting to know them which made our wedding day experience that much less stressful. The photos we got were truly unbelievable. The reason I wanted Penny & Earl to capture our day was because all their pictures make me wish I was there. They really do a wonderful job of capturing the environment and feelings as well as moments. They were hugely efficient and got every photo we wanted to get and all our favorite moments! I hope I have an event in the future that requires photographing so I can use them again. My already married friends were very jealous they didn’t pick them but my husband (who rarely pays a compliment) said it best: “Worth every Penny”

Penny and Earl are truly gifted at what they do. I am someone who does not generally love having my photo taken and they made me feel so comfortable. We just got our photos back and they captured the night perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about them! Several of our bridesmaids said it was the best photography experience they ever had. Do yourself a favor and book them for your big day.

Penny and Earl were terrific. They were so flexible and very easy to communicate and work with leading up to the big day. They were attentive throughout the process and clearly understood our goals for the wedding. It was a true luxury having them both there on the day of. They were willing to get to our venue early and captured so many special moments prior to everything starting. They also professionally corralled our large families and efficiently shot wedding party group photos. The ceremony, reception, dinner, and party pictures were all splendid. We are still getting compliments on the photos! After the wedding, they got the photos back to us within the agreed to time and even were able to fix one photo where a family member’s eyes weren’t open all the way. All in all, we would highly recommend Penny and Earl!

You'll be hard-pressed to find better photographers for your big day than Penny Photographics. Penny and Earl were incredible on the wedding day, our portraits were beautiful and the candid shots were incredible. Our photos were so vivid and lively it felt like we were right back in the day of our wedding! We met Penny and Earl when they were working another wedding, and they were so awesome and friendly that we knew we wanted to hire them for ours. They offer a lot of great services, including an Adventure Session and a Wedding Photo album, and we always got our pictures back way faster than expected. We can't recommend Penny and Earl highly enough, you are guaranteed to love working with them!

You will not find nicer, funnier, sweeter, or a more talented photographer team than Penny and Earl! They truly take the time to get to know you, and after each event or photoshoot, you leave feeling more like their friends than their customers. They definitely know how to find your best angle, and pull out your best smile for the most magical pictures. They shot both our engagement photos and our wedding, and they caught every important memory in such an amazing way that I still tear up looking back at the photos. One of the absolute best decisions we made for our wedding.

In researching different photographers, we found that some companies for a base price have only one photographer, some would only work up to certain hours, or for an extra fee they could have an additional photographer or stay longer in the day. But with Penny Photography this wasn't the case. Penny Photography offers two amazing photographers and are available for the whole day for one set price. You do not have to sacrifice getting ready photos for only the bride, or worry about them leaving too early in the night. The less things you need to worry about throughout the day the better, and if you book with them, they will be there for you throughout the day. Their style of photos focuses on more of the candid shots than formal/stuffy shots which was what we were looking for. We like the style of photos of people talking, laughing and socializing with other wedding guests. People's true emotions of the day. We had an introductory Zoom call with Penny and Earl, after getting to know them within the first few minutes we discovered how friendly and personable they both are. After the call there was no second thought, they are the photographers for us! And, we were overjoyed that they wanted to work with us also. Leading up to the wedding, communication was smooth with finalizing the wedding timeline with what formal shots and group shots that we wanted. And, on the big day they were professional in organizing and providing direction that only comes with years of experience. And, a big shout out to them both for coming to the rescue and helping save the wedding dress after a herd of ants tried to make it its new home. They went over and above their duties. For this we are so thankful, they are simply the best. For weeks and even months after the wedding, we are still getting so many compliments from our wedding guests about both Penny and Earl. They fit in so well with all our family and friends, it's like we have known them for years.

Everybody has a kitchen but not everyone can cook a meal. Everybody has a camera, but Penny and Earl can make a freaking "film" mignon :D They are awesome, and their pictures are awesome. They cared about our wedding and they cared about us. They went above and beyond for every step of our wedding planning, adventure (engagement) session and on our special day. Earl and Penny are insanely and seriously talented in the art of photography! Of course they take amazing pictures but how they perform their job is even more incredible! They make you feel so comfortable and natural when posing for pictures. They are beyond kind, accepting and fun to be around! My husband and I look at our photos almost everyday and couldn’t be more grateful for Earl & Penny!

Penny and Earl are the personification of professionalism and joy! After our original photographer expressed bigotry and disapproval of our LGBTQ wedding even after agreeing to photograph the wedding, Penny and Earl were able to swoop in and save the day. They helped us reconfigure our plans and zero in on exactly what was important to us as a couple. Plus they brought back a sense of joy to the planning process. Not only are they kind and generous with their advice, they also provide specific resource documents to help plan everything from your first look, to family photos, to the ceremony, reception, and your final goodbye. I really appreciated their standard set price as well. We knew they would support every aspect of the day with no rush or time limit. The peace of mind and teamwork mindset is so worth it. Lastly, they are simply just amazing humans. We genuinely loved having them over for a board game/wedding planning night and consider them friends as well as vendors. Working with Penny Photographics was a gift itself.

We worked with Penny and Earl for our Adventure Session and Wedding Photography and had the best experience! They were so fun to hang out with, kept everyone laughing, and the pictures came out even better than we hoped. Months later, whenever our wedding comes up in conversation with our families, without fail someone says "and your photographers were so great!" Where do we even begin?! From our first introductions over coffee and many email communications thereafter (and/or text if preferred), to our finalization meeting at Sociable Cider Works, Penny and Earl have been nothing but amazing to work with! They took the time to get to know us, our vision for our wedding and what we wanted captured, and got to know us on a personal level! Earl and Penny are phenomenal wedding photographers/extraordinaires. We had multiple touch points prior to the wedding and their questionnaires were really helpful for planning. They were super fun to have with us all day, and we got a ton of compliments on how great they were to work with. This was from family and friends that hadn’t even seen their work! Earl will in fact jump around with keys to attract the attention of children and Penny will absolutely crawl into the weeds to get an awesome nature shot. They even kept us hydrated when no one else was thinking of water!! It was fantastic to have both of them all day for the full day with no worry of not having enough hands or time for all the photos we desired! Also, a husband and wife team is just so fun and the albums turned out beautifully.

Penny and Earl are the best! They worked incredibly hard throughout the wedding day and to produce an absolutely stunning set of wedding photos. They captured so many wonderful candid moments on top of getting posed photos with the bridal party and family. The candid photos were my favorite, and every time I look through them I am transported back to the wedding day. On top of everything, they are a joy to work with. I cannot recommend them more.

We've heard from so many guests how much they liked our photographers, they got along so well not only with us and our parties, but with family members and even the staff at our reception space. Penny and Earl are not just outstanding photographers - they are also two of our favorite people! Starting with our Adventure Session, it was a completely unique experience that is so different from what most photographers offer with an “engagement session”. We spent the entire day with Penny and Earl, traveling to four different locations from Willow River in Hudson, WI to Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis. It was an absolute blast! They were able to get all the different photos that we wanted while keeping the pace relaxed and fun. To this day it is one of our favorite memories of being engaged. Not to mention the fact that the photos were stunning – they looked like they came out of a magazine! We had so many to choose from for our Save the Dates and our family and friends raved about them for months. We quickly realized that booking with Penny Photographics was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. The service was above and beyond what we expected, and Penny’s creativity and talent is hard to come by! The day of our wedding, Penny and Earl showed up early to scope out the venue and were incredibly organized and professional throughout the day! You could tell that they put a lot of thought and planning into the itinerary and photos, but never made us feel rushed or distracted. After getting to know Penny and Earl on a such a personal level leading up to the wedding, it was such a privilege to have them with us on our day as both photographers and friends. They truly are one of a kind. Today, as we spend hours perusing our beautiful wedding photos and picking out ones to decorate our home, the emotion and joy of the day comes flooding back. Penny and Earl are the best! Our wedding planning and day experience would not have been the same without them! From helping with vendors to timelines to helping us stay on track on the day of. They have amazing energy and made us feel like friends. They did great with all the family and little kids and WONDERFUL with our dogs. We have only seen the sneak peek so far but we are blown away with how beautiful the pictures are and that they captured our personalities so perfectly. With COVID things can be hard but they made sure everyone felt comfortable and didn’t push anything. They also really listen to us if we wanted a specific pose. I can’t say enough for them! By far best decision hiring them. We booked them mid 2018 and got married late 2020 and they were available to us THE ENTIRE TIME! Love them so much and will definitely be keeping up with their amazing work and hope to work with them in the future.

Penny and Earl have been absolutely amazing to work with. They were the photographers for my friends wedding and my fiance and I have loved working with them. Through COVID they have been extremely easy to work with. We had them at our small ceremony this past weekend and will be having them at our larger ceremony next year. It's been a year and half since our wedding and I'm still not sure how to describe how incredible Penny & Earl are. - Weddings are stressful; I'm sure you're already stressed and you're just at the beginning stages of planning. If you want a team that is going to be ORGANIZED, DETAIL ORIENTED, and COMMUNICATE with you every step of the way... Penny & Earl are perfect for you. - It's easy to get snowballed by the all of the day of events going on, even with the best planning, somethings will go wrong and you might have start to miss the point that; Hey! It's your wedding day! If you want a team that are going to be reassuring, fun, and remind you to take a breath and enjoy the day... Penny & Earl are perfect for you. (Side Story: the morning of my wedding I noticed the cleaners had stained a "large" section of the top of my dress that the hanger was hiding... when Penny walked in the room she was so reassuring that the stain, that I thought was THE WORST THING TO EVER HAPPEN, was not. She reminded me that this is not what I should focus on, that I will look beautiful no matter what, and that nothing should take away from what today is. After speaking for a brief moment with Penny I realized this stain was much smaller than I originally allowed myself to think and that she was correct; this is not the end of the world. In just that instance Penny unknowingly saved the day). If you want a team that CARES about you and is not just there for a paycheck then... Penny & Earl are perfect for you. - You do not want to have a mental checklist running through your head in concerns to your photos.. Trust me, you're going to have a million other details crammed in there you'll forget if you put on deodorant and probably apply it again another 3-6 more times. If you want a team that you can TRUST to have your photo list memorized, prioritized, and captured beautifully then Penny & Earl are perfect for you. - If you've ever been in a wedding party you know how excruciating those group photos can be... the waiting... the wishing you could enjoy the cocktail hour with all the other guests... it's cold, it's hot, you need to pee.... they can be the worst. But I can tell you that even in the 36 degree TEXAS freak weather our group photos were FUN. They went by quickly because of how efficiently Penny & Earl were. I'm not biased even my mom (who is cold in 70 degree weather) said she had so much fun that she didn't realize we had taken so many poses. If you want a team that is going to make the mundane FUN then... Penny & Earl are perfect for you. The photos were beautiful. I mean it.. BEAUTIFUL. I receive compliments on them daily (from social media) and in fact one of my photos is an award winning photo! YEAH.. THEY'RE AWARDING WINNING PHOTOGRAPHERS. I'm not sure how they were able to capture the laughter, tears, and LOVE in a still photo but they did. Looking through my photos I feel like the wedding was just yesterday. Again- I'd like to think that this review does Penny & Earl justice.. but it just doesn't. By far, the BEST decision we ever made was choosing to go with this fantastic team. I'm tearing up now only because I will FOREVER be grateful to Penny & Earl for not just saving the day but capturing it beautifully. Not really being comfortable in front of a camera, they made us feel so relaxed in both our adventure session and our wedding day. Penny and Earl were by far our favorite vendor to work with! From our fun and carefree engagement session, to help preparing a timeline for the day-of they made us feel confident and excited about the whole process. Yes, yes, yes! Penny and Earl are not only amazing humans but are AMAZING photographers. We couldn’t have asked for better photos to capture our special day. As others have mentioned, from the day we met with Penny and Earl we felt so comfortable and excited about working with them. While they are not wedding planners, they really helped us nail down our timeline for the day and just helped us through the whole wedding experience. Penny is a master at taking charge and supporting the couples wants and needs while Earl is there to support with his humor. They both have some serious ninja skills (we asked ourselves “how did they get that photo?!?”) after we saw the pics. They really take the time to ensure that you get the most amazing photos of your special day (I’m serious we found them visiting our venue the day of our rehearsal!). Also, super pet friendly, got some amazing pics of our fur babies! We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them and continue to know them, they might even let you beat them at your favorite card game after all the festivities are over 😊.

From the day we booked with Penny and Earl we could not have felt more comfortable; we truly feel like we developed a great friendship that made us sooo much more comfortable in front of the camera. We did an adventure session with them and they were so willing to make it the best - we started at our house in a southern suburb to capture some pictures with our pup (they are uber pet friendly!!) and then drove up to Duluth with us to capture pictures at waterfalls and Canal Park!! Then on our wedding day they captured all the special moments you could ever want. I’m not sure this review will do justice as to how amazing Penny and Earl are!! The talent, the colors, the outcome, I’m speechless! From start to finish (hair/makeup) until the dance floor closed up, they made sure to capture everything. Both are cheerful, energetic and engage with guest - down to earth and genuine. Penny and Earl were the first vendor my husband and I booked and we are so happy we did. They embrace the environment and create so much beauty in their final product. If you are looking for a photographer that really understands what photos a bride/groom wants and makes sure nothing is missed - you won’t regret working with Penny and Earl!

We found Penny and Earl on the Wedding Photo Journalists Association website because we were interested in candid shots. I'm glad I looked for that because we would not have run into them otherwise! They were there from 7.30am in the morning to almost midnight, covering both our traditional Indian wedding ceremony and the reception in the evening. They had more energy than us through the whole process, so it gave us a big boost through the long day. They treated us more like friends than clients throughout the whole process, and were considerate to my wife's requests about not using bright lighting. They still made an outdoor sunset photoshoot happen in the middle of our super-busy day. We are very happy with our photos and have so many fond memories from our interactions with them. I can't recommend them highly enough. Hire them!

Penny and Earl were absolutely amazing to work with! We had them do our engagement photos and wedding photos. They were so fun to be around it made us more comfortable being photographed for our engagement photos. By the time the wedding came around it felt like we’d known them awhile. All of our photos turned out beautifully. We have so many great photos, and some were so different and unique. They are truly “epic,” just as they advertised 🙂. We got so many compliments on our photos with multiple people saying they looked like they were from a magazine; the photos were simply that awesome. Words cannot fully express how thankful I am that we chose Penny Photographics for our wedding day photography needs! We had searched high and low, constantly comparing photographers to find the best quality for a decent rate. I even had an excel sheet comparing what people offered and didn't offer as part of their packages (yes, I have a mega type A personality). But Penny and Earl are the only ones I wanted to meet in person because of their obvious care for not only our wedding day, but for us as people. Penny and Earl are a powerhouse couple -- in love, in care, and in humor. They met with us to get to know us personally, they answered all of my insane questions and emails, and they made sure we had a list of all of the photos we wanted so that we didn't forget someone on the day. They ensured that our day went effortlessly and captured the magic. We just had to sit back, take each moment at a time, and we knew that they would document it all for us to look back on for years to come. They even got photos of moments in which I never saw them (I'm pretty sure they're photography ninjas)! We felt so comfortable with them around, they made us laugh and relax, and they even played some interference when we just wanted a minute to ourselves. They were there for every minute that we needed them and they far exceed what my expectations were. I would not recommend anyone else except Penny and Earl!

Penny & Earl are amazing! The second I met them it felt as though I’d known them for years! Plus, you get to spend 12+ hours with two awesome people who just love LOVE in all it's forms. They shadowed alongside my wife & I without us even realizing, and they also melted into the vibe of the wedding (for us, that meant non-traditional party party and Earl even jumped on the dance floor with me!). Our guests can't stop raving, either. They will not be your cheapest option, but that's not how you should pick your photography. I've known and worked with other photographers in several different walks of life with different philosophies, styles, levels of expertise, and personalities, Penny and Earl are the absolute best (especially at their price point). In terms of bang for your buck there's no one better for your wedding or other event. But they're not just getting 5 stars for being a great bargain, Penny and Earl are exceptionally fun to work with. They've got all the expertise, ninja skills, and passion to document all the amazing memories you'll make during your day, with Penny and Earl you get two photographers ALL DAY, so nothing will be missed. Every photo they gave us was an absolute treasure. There were moments they captured without us even knowing they were there. They're sensitive to whatever your needs are, however your family dynamics work, and they will put the utmost care into making your day extra fun, extra special, and make every memory as beautiful as you remember it. In brief, they're generous, skilled, and so fun. (Seriously guys, my wife and I want to be your best friends). In addition to everything I said, you get to keep your printing rights to your photos, you get printing credit for those amazing photo albums with your contract, and once more, you get two great and exceptionally fun photographers for an entire day. Good luck finding any deal even close to this good.

Penny and Earl were nothing less than a dream to work with. Not only is their work exceptional, artistic, and heartfelt, but they made an effort to get to know us as a couple which made us so much more comfortable in front of the camera, which really showed through in our photos. Choosing them as our photographers was one of our best decisions in wedding planning. They have a true gift.

Penny and Earl were absolutely amazing to work with and are so much fun! It was important to my husband and I to find a photographer we enjoy being around because we were going to spend our whole wedding day with them. We had a blast with both Penny and Earl during our adventure session as well as on our wedding day! They are great to work with and always quick to respond to emails/phone calls. But most importantly, their photos are AMAZING!!! My husband and I absolutely LOVED all of our engagement and wedding photos!! They did an awesome job in capturing everything that went on during the day! And to top it all off, their albums are fantastic and Penny spends time to make sure it is everything you want it to be! Penny and Earl are by far the best photographers (maybe any vendor category) we’ve ever worked with or talked with when searching for our wedding. We aren’t photogenic people, and hate taking pictures. Somehow, though, we enjoyed every minute of an almost 10 hour day for our “Adventure Session” taking engagement photos. No doubt that our wedding day will be the same way next Spring. They’re very quick and easy to communicate and work with. Pricing is extremely fair. Photo quality excellent. Turnaround time well beat our expectations. Couldn’t be happier.

Penny and Earl are just awesome! We knew right away we wanted them to do our engagement and wedding pictures. We did our due diligence and checked out other photographers, but honestly they didn't compare. Penny and Earl's talent and style is unlike any other and it shows in their work. Penny and Earl are awesome! They are able to capture the most amazing memories. Neither my husband or myself are very photogenic and I can’t believe the beautiful moments they captured with us, plus they made our two dogs look just as good. The fact they were able to get the four of us in a good picture together is nothing short of a miracle! We got married on a boat and they worked magic in a really tight space. We just saw them again for family photos and I have no doubts they’ve captured me, my husband, new baby and two dogs in more beautiful photos.

It has been so great to work with Penny and Earl during our wedding planning year! They are incredibly responsive to emails, take time to get to know the people that they are working with, and they LOVE dogs! Our adventure session was a lot of fun and they put my mind at ease right away! We can't wait to have capture our wedding day next August!

There are not enough words in the world to describe how amazing Penny and Earl are. We walked out of meeting them and felt like we had known them forever. They helped scope out the perfect waterfall for our engagement photos and gave us breathtaking pictures without it feeling awkward ever. I would 110% recommend Penny Photographics to anyone looking for a great time and amazing photos. We had so much fun on our adventure session with Penny and Earl and to top it off our pictures turned out INCREDIBLE. We were looking for a photographer that would really capture who we are as a couple and the love that we share and Penny and Earl did that and even more. They embraced our quirkiness and our crazy dogs whole heartedly and gave us an awesome adventure session with beautiful pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Penny and Earl did an absolutely fabulous job as our wedding photographers! We are extremely happy with the pictures from both our wedding day and adventure session. They captured our wedding day so wonderfully! It was a great mix of formal (the usual) wedding photographs and candids of ourselves and wedding guests throughout the day. We appreciated that they did not limit themselves to a certain number of hours, but were willing to start the day with us getting ready in the morning and stayed until well into our reception. Penny and Earl were also incredibly helpful during the wedding planning process – they were always available to answer questions, and did so extremely quickly! They were great at checking in and Penny helped put together a day of schedule, which was wonderful since she has such extensive knowledge of wedding days! Both Penny and Earl are very professional and outstanding at their jobs; as a bonus, they are also incredibly fun to work with and be around. All of their reviews are 5 stars – and there is a reason for that – they are absolutely 5-star photographers!

To say that choosing Penny and Earl was one of the best choices we made for our wedding would be a significant understatement. They were hands down the greatest blessing and the biggest support as we prepared for our wedding. Penny kept everything organized and Earl kept us in stitches. From the first meeting, Steve (my husband) and I both felt like Penny and Earl were the kind of people that we could easily be friends with (which is a good thing since you have to be comfortable with your photographers being totally in your space bubble). They are full of spunk, joy and laughter. You can tell they adore each other as a couple and that they love what they do as photographers! Penny and Earl even went out of their way to do a special photo shoot, on Labor Day no less, with me in my dress after I got a phone call that my grandfather had been given only days to live (only two weeks after we had hired them!). Choosing Penny and Earl is easily the best decision you could make. I cannot recommend them enough.

The pictures are out of this world, and everyone on both sides of the Famlies had something positive about them! For me the photos were the most important part of my wedding to get right. I wanted a photographer that was as fun and excited about my wedding as I was. One that could capture the special moments that are candid and authentic. Penny and Earl were the dream team that made it happen for me! They were easy to talk to, very detailed, and just the sweetest couple to work with! If I had to do it all over again I would pick them in a heart beat. You honestly cannot find a better wedding photographer if you tried. I can guarantee it.

Penny and Earl were far and away our favorite vendor! They are fun, yet professional and were somehow able to turn our dorky faces into something SO stunning. Penny took both our engagement (adventure) photos as well as our wedding photos and we couldn't be happier. From the candid shots to the more formal ones, everything was top notch. Penny also connected us with other vendors and was invaluable in the planning process. She and Earl met us at the dog park to talk logistics, and were both an absolutely pleasure (and a calming presence) on our wedding day. We now consider them friends and cannot sing their praises enough!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Penny and Earl! They were super accommodating and enthusiastic from the very beginning. Day of, they made both of us awkward ducks feel totally comfortable. And not just in front of the camera! Penny acted at different points as my attendant, maid of honor, and mom before the wedding :) Penny is the boss! She also managed to wrangle up my humongous family, get all the shots needed in no time at all so that we got to spend more time enjoying the party. When did receive the pictures it was as if they had known us our entire lives! They picked up on everything that was important to us and captured it beautifully without us being able to explicitly articulate it. Our pictures captured the day, our love, and the personalities/quirks of our wedding guests. Beyond words!!

Penny and Earl were, by far, our most communicative vendor. They responded to emails and calls quickly and provided guidance far beyond the scope of photography. Their knowledge of the industry was invaluable as we planned our day. We booked them based off of seeing their work and them in action at our friend's wedding. Penny is creative, fearless, bold, and a pleasure to work with. My entire family mentioned how much they liked her without hesitation and without prompting. Booking them was the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process.

Penny is AMAZING! I met her and saw her work at a bridal fair and I instantly knew I wanted her to capture our wedding! We had her do both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and they were BEAUTIFUL! They will be pictures I will treasure forever. She did a great job at the staged family shots and the candid shots throughout the day. She was fun and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her! You won't be disappointed!

I’m not sure if I can even capture how amazing Penny & Earl are in this review. To start with, when I was first looking for a photographer for my wedding, Penny was so easy to talk to. She took time to answer all of my questions, and then addressed more things than I didn’t even know to ask. I felt rest assured after just one conversation with her that she would be a great fit. When my husband and I first met with her and her husband Earl in person, we got along so well with them- they are incredibly easy-going, friendly, and fun people. I warned them before our adventure session (much more fun than just a regular engagement photo shoot), that I wasn’t the most photogenic person. They gave us great tips, but more importantly, helped us loosen up so they could capture us just being ourselves. The engagement pictures all turned out beautiful! Come the day of our wedding, they showed up early (with Starbucks  ) to capture us getting ready. (Penny stayed with the girls, and Earl went with the guys.) She was incredibly organized (which I was not), and helped us stay on a timeline to get many pictures taken before the ceremony, so we had more time enjoying the reception afterwards. She did sneak us away come sunset (which she timed in advance), and we got beautiful pictures of just my husband and I together. I had originally only had a couple things I considered when finding a photographer: 1) the quality of their work (duh), 2) the cost. However, what I didn’t realize what was really important was having a great rapport with them, too! I can’t say enough about how awesome Penny & Earl are. They are great people, very reasonably priced and able to conform to your needs, and incredible photographers! I couldn’t believe how beautiful the pictures turned out. (And the turnaround time was super fast too! Around a month or so!) I knew I was lucky that we had them for our wedding, but even my wedding party and guests were raving about them- and that was even before they saw the pictures. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer for any need!

Penny and her second shooter Earl (who is also her husband - how cool is that?!) were absolutely incredible to work with! For starters, we had our engagement photo session (which Penny fondly calls the adventure session) in February at a state park filled with beauty and snow - lots of snow. We decided to have two outfits - one formal wear and one more casual. Penny made us look like Vogue models in these outfits out in the beautiful wilderness!! We were just blown away by how the photos turned out. She was clearly an expert and gave us breaks to warm up and handwarmers to put on our noses to keep them from looking red. These photos have been shared profusely and proudly hang in our house. We can't thank her enough for capturing our relationship. Then for the big day, Earl joined Penny. The two were so fun to work with and they were very patient with our bridal party personalities! The suggested a first look with the bride and her dad, which was such a heart-melting moment. We never would have thought of that and absolutely love it. Then they captured some gorgeous pictures in the church and with extended family. She is also excellent at handling people that come up with phones and other cameras while we are trying to get our formal shots. We loved having Penny on the trolley with the bridal party to record our fun there! And of course at the reception at the country club where she took pictures of us inside and out with our loved ones. Not only did we love the photos we received from them, but we feel like we made a new couple friend which we look forward to enjoying in the future! We would recommend this photographer for any special event you have!

Penny was phenomenal!!! Right off the bat, she and Earl took the time to get to know my husband and me. Get to know our interests and our style. They answered all of our questions and made sure that we felt comfortable with the process. Leading up to the wedding and on the day of, we were completely at ease and knew that we could trust them to do an amazing job. All of our guests also loved them and still talk about how great they were. Penny and Earl were a great team that had an incredible amount of energy! Our photos were absolutely beautiful and my husband and I continue to relive the day with them.

We were looking for photographers who 1) were decently priced, 2) took lovely photos, 3) were reliable, and 4) had personalities that meshed with ours. Earl and Penny fit the criteria! The photos Earl and Penny took at the engagement session and during the wedding definitely captured our personalities. They are great at communicating if you email, text, or call them. Our photos were delivered in a very reasonable time frame - about a month later. I had no idea where to begin setting up a timeline for the big day, so when Penny offered to help draft a timeline I took her up on that in a heartbeat. She is super knowledgeable. There was one unexpected thing that did happen...Earl and Penny became our friends.

My fiancé and I are so lucky that we found Penny and Earl to be our photographers. My fiancé and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera and we need A TON of direction, but Penny and Earl made us feel totally comfortable. You can tell that they are passionate about their work and they actually care about each and every one of their clients, which I believe is unique these days.
