d up having an amazing engagement picture session in Connecticut. We loved every single picture and used one of the pictures on our save the date card.
Fast forward to the weeks leading up the wedding - Penny was fantastic about making sure she knew exactly what we wanted. We gave her a list of pictures we definitely wanted and she helped us lock down a timeline for the day. All of the calls and texts were so appreciated and made us feel great about how the day would progress.
Then, on wedding day, Penny arrived early and scoped out where the best places to take getting ready pictures would be. Her second shooter did the same with my Husband and his groomsmen. Penny was always in the right spot taking fun pictures of me and my girls while we got ready. Her kind and fun personality made it easy for us to be natural in front of the camera. Then we got to the first look and family/wedding party pictures the pictures came out STUNNING! The lighting was perfect on the beach and I can’t say enough great things about how organized and amazing Penny was while taking pictures of the large group. Finally, at the ceremony and reception, Penny and her second shooter captured every special moment perfectly! We are so happy with how everything turned out and we will cherish these photos forever.
I also want to make sure future brides know how caring Penny is. I tried printing a few photos at CVS and they came out terrible. It was 1000% CVS’s fault but I reached out to Penny to make sure I downloaded the photos correctly and without even hesitating, she sent me several printed photos and gave me a giftcard to print through her printing company. I really don’t think there are many vendors who will go above and beyond for their clients like that but Penny is definitely one who will! Thank you again Penny for being the best!!

We really enjoyed her positive attitude and professionalism and appreciated how willing she was to work with us to create the perfect day. We had a lot of extended family to wrangle for the pictures and she handled it so well that we didn't have to stress (about the pictures anyway) that day!
I was also impressed by the speed and quality of the photos she delivered. We got them sooner than I was expecting even though it had just been a busy holiday weekend of weddings.

uality photos. There are an overwhelming number of options for wedding photography, but we fell in love with Penny's bright, airy, and timeless photo style and her cheerful personality. As a professional, Penny was incredibly easy to get a hold of leading up to the big day. She is an expect at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and even making it a little fun to get those authentic smiles. Wedding days can be a bit chaotic, but she was always on top of her game, managing family members, time constraints and getting all the important photos we had hoped for. What's more, we got our photos back incredibly quick and they are gorgeous! We are overjoyed to have such wonderful keepsakes from our wedding day, and we are very grateful to Penny for making our special day easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Oh goodness where do I even start. In the end our pictures came out nice. But I would never recommend penny to any bride unless you want issues and to be let down time after time. ...
She ultimately wasn’t able to show up for our engagement photos and had to have someone else do them after moving them 4 times because of Covid brides rescheduling then someone asked her to take rehearsal pictures then ended up having to move and so on. After complaining she gave us $200 off our pictures if we chose to order them. Then comes our wedding a year and a half later and she has the wrong date down for our wedding contract( partially my fault because I signed it and didn’t catch the mistake, but in all the emails it was stated as 6/10) and couldn’t do it because she double booked the date and then somehow agreed to do it. Ultimately when it came down to it days before the wedding she caught Covid and wasn’t able to attend. Thankfully she assigned us another wonderful photographer who we loved, but it’s not who we agreed to. Penny never apologized once and instead just came up with excuses and was only concerned with her money even before the date agreed upon. All and all we contracted Penny to do our engagement and wedding photos and she was unable to make either of those shoots which was very disappointing and only did the editing.

We went down to meet her on a cold December day last winter at some of Newport's historic buildings and she was so friendly and accommodating. We weren't the type of couple that had a lot of specific photos we wanted and we just sort of went with the flow and Penny had some great suggestions for locations and poses as she is very familiar with the area and an expert at what she does. Our engagement pictures came out amazing and we couldn't wait to see our photos from our big day. Penny and her co-photographer showed up on wedding day early and immediately got to work. We couldn't have asked for a more professional pair as they were very organized and got all the photos we wanted and then some. Talk about efficient as well. Less than one week after our big day we had our entire album ready for us to view to relive our big day and the pictures were amazing. We were thrilled with the amount of photos as well as the quality. If you want a friendly, no pressure, professional photographer for your big day, look no further, you won't be disappointed. We ultimately landed in a situation where our new wedding date did not align with her availability, but Penny still went above and beyond to provide an amazing customer experience. She offered to help source a trusted and experienced replacement photographer to shoot for our special day and was able to relieve that burden of us having to find another photographer. My interaction with her just over email and over the phone was so great that when it came time for my business partner and I to have our professional headshots done, I knew just who to turn to. The pictures she took during the ceremony really captured the love between the bride and groom. After the ceremony Penny did a great job making sure everyone got the photos they wanted. From my husband's point of view, she had an injured foot but still got down on the ground to get the perfect shot/angle - thats how he knew she's the best! That day she also had lots of other ideas for us for our engagement shoot and took the time to get to know us and get the absolute perfect pictures. She is very prompt with responding to emails and getting the pictures/album back so quickly! Not to mention, my mother in law says she is the best photographer she has ever seen! I may have to agree.... I have seen a lot of wedding photos and I am glad I wasn't fooled by some of the filtered or flashy photos that look cheesy. ou never have to feel lost or confused on your busy, sometimes stressful day. She will make sure you get the results you want. We met with her twice before our June 2018 wedding and she met us halfway between her home in RI and our home in CT, armed with plenty of her work to show us ad help us customize the perfect package for our wants, needs and budget. Her packages are really good deals as far as what they include and what they cost. I was amazed by the price compared to many other highly priced photographers. Her work is quality and she gets it done quick. We had previews the next morning, and the full album in less than 2 weeks. You get full access to all the photos online, a flashdrive with all the pictures, and the ability for your family and friends to logon and get download pictures too, among any other idea you may come up with that you want to include in your package. I had taken ideas from other photographers packages that were more expensive, and Penny was able to include those ideas in ours for the better price. You can't go wrong with using Penny for your photography needs.
