Penny is extremely kind and takes beautiful pictures!! She is a pleasure to work with. I already love the pictures from my preview, cannot wait to see them all!

d up having an amazing engagement picture session in Connecticut. We loved every single picture and used one of the pictures on our save the date card.
Fast forward to the weeks leading up the wedding - Penny was fantastic about making sure she knew exactly what we wanted. We gave her a list of pictures we definitely wanted and she helped us lock down a timeline for the day. All of the calls and texts were so appreciated and made us feel great about how the day would progress.
Then, on wedding day, Penny arrived early and scoped out where the best places to take getting ready pictures would be. Her second shooter did the same with my Husband and his groomsmen. Penny was always in the right spot taking fun pictures of me and my girls while we got ready. Her kind and fun personality made it easy for us to be natural in front of the camera. Then we got to the first look and family/wedding party pictures the pictures came out STUNNING! The lighting was perfect on the beach and I can’t say enough great things about how organized and amazing Penny was while taking pictures of the large group. Finally, at the ceremony and reception, Penny and her second shooter captured every special moment perfectly! We are so happy with how everything turned out and we will cherish these photos forever.
I also want to make sure future brides know how caring Penny is. I tried printing a few photos at CVS and they came out terrible. It was 1000% CVS’s fault but I reached out to Penny to make sure I downloaded the photos correctly and without even hesitating, she sent me several printed photos and gave me a giftcard to print through her printing company. I really don’t think there are many vendors who will go above and beyond for their clients like that but Penny is definitely one who will! Thank you again Penny for being the best!!

os Penny made my husband and I feel so comfortable in a very awkward situation. She keeps in touch throughout the entire planning process, and takes the time to learn who everyone in the bridal party is. She takes amazing photos and gives you a sneak peek only a few days after. She was very affordable, timely, and courteous. I would recommend her to anyone in need for wedding or any other photography, you will be very happy with the results.
Penny and her assistant Olivia are totally amazing! If you want beautiful pictures and wonderful service, Penny is the one! If you want the best, she’s the your photographer!

e to go over all the details. Penny came so prepared with a list of all of our families names and who needed to be in the which photos. She was a delight to work with and the most professional. Not to mention all of the photos came out BEAUTIFUL! We even had a preview of the photos to look at on our wedding night which was so special! I would recommend Penny to another who needs a photographer!

ting with digital meetings because we live out-of-state and even more so of making us feel comfortable during all the photo sessions.
We really enjoyed her positive attitude and professionalism and appreciated how willing she was to work with us to create the perfect day. We had a lot of extended family to wrangle for the pictures and she handled it so well that we didn't have to stress (about the pictures anyway) that day!
I was also impressed by the speed and quality of the photos she delivered. We got them sooner than I was expecting even though it had just been a busy holiday weekend of weddings.
We both highly recommend Penny to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer!

Penny was absolutely amazing with our wedding photos. So helpful and very involved with having our dream wedding photos captured. Very happy with our wedding memories!!!
Oh my goodness we had the most wonderful experience with Penny! She is very communicative and would often touch base with us in the months preceding our wedding. Our joke was that ...
it's our first wedding and we had no idea what we were doing, but thankfully, Penny guided us through it with excellent recommendations. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and we had so much fun! Penny and her assistant captured absolutely amazing photos and we've never looked better, even though it was the hottest day of the year. She also got our first look photos to us before brunch the next day, which is crazy fast! We can’t recommend Penny enough!
Penny was absolutely phenomenal! We hired Penny for both our engagement and wedding photos. It is hard to find a budget friendly photographer who also produces professional, high q...
uality photos. There are an overwhelming number of options for wedding photography, but we fell in love with Penny's bright, airy, and timeless photo style and her cheerful personality. As a professional, Penny was incredibly easy to get a hold of leading up to the big day. She is an expect at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and even making it a little fun to get those authentic smiles. Wedding days can be a bit chaotic, but she was always on top of her game, managing family members, time constraints and getting all the important photos we had hoped for. What's more, we got our photos back incredibly quick and they are gorgeous! We are overjoyed to have such wonderful keepsakes from our wedding day, and we are very grateful to Penny for making our special day easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

e out amazing! Plus she got them back to us the very next day! Highly recommend.
Oh goodness where do I even start. In the end our pictures came out nice. But I would never recommend penny to any bride unless you want issues and to be let down time after time. ...
She ultimately wasn’t able to show up for our engagement photos and had to have someone else do them after moving them 4 times because of Covid brides rescheduling then someone asked her to take rehearsal pictures then ended up having to move and so on. After complaining she gave us $200 off our pictures if we chose to order them. Then comes our wedding a year and a half later and she has the wrong date down for our wedding contract( partially my fault because I signed it and didn’t catch the mistake, but in all the emails it was stated as 6/10) and couldn’t do it because she double booked the date and then somehow agreed to do it. Ultimately when it came down to it days before the wedding she caught Covid and wasn’t able to attend. Thankfully she assigned us another wonderful photographer who we loved, but it’s not who we agreed to. Penny never apologized once and instead just came up with excuses and was only concerned with her money even before the date agreed upon. All and all we contracted Penny to do our engagement and wedding photos and she was unable to make either of those shoots which was very disappointing and only did the editing.

Last fall of 2020 when we got engaged, we began to plan and were searching for wedding photographers. We came across Penny on the Knot, gave her a call and immediately decided she ...
was the photographer for us. We were thrilled to find out she did a complimentary engagement session. We went down to meet her on a cold December day last winter at some of Newport's historic buildings and she was so friendly and accommodating. We weren't the type of couple that had a lot of specific photos we wanted and we just sort of went with the flow and Penny had some great suggestions for locations and poses as she is very familiar with the area and an expert at what she does. Our engagement pictures came out amazing and we couldn't wait to see our photos from our big day. Penny and her co-photographer showed up on wedding day early and immediately got to work. We couldn't have asked for a more professional pair as they were very organized and got all the photos we wanted and then some. Talk about efficient as well. Less than one week after our big day we had our entire album ready for us to view to relive our big day and the pictures were amazing. We were thrilled with the amount of photos as well as the quality. If you want a friendly, no pressure, professional photographer for your big day, look no further, you won't be disappointed. We plan on reaching out to Penny for future sessions when the time comes!

raid of taking photos. She worked her magic and showed me what a beautiful bride I was! We did our engagement shoot with her also and they are some of my favorite photos (especially of our dog! - another huge perk of penny she doesn’t mind at all including your furry friend). She also went above and beyond taking as many photos it took in order to make sure we were satisfied . Looking forward to having her photograph my expanding family in the future 💗
I can’t say thank you enough to Penny for everything she did for us leading up to the wedding and the day off! We had to postpone our wedding twice, and Penny was there every step ...
of the way to help us and work with us. Penny was always available to answer my calls and emails and did everything she could to make our third wedding date beyond special. Penny was incredibly easy to work with in planning the day and our photos and was especially easy to work with on the day of. My husband and I are not great picture takers, and Penny made us feel so comfortable and was guiding us with poses that suited our style and what looked best. Penny accommodated all of our photo requests, especially our sunset photos, which came out stunning. We are so happy with all of our photos, and we couldn’t have picked a better photographer for our day! In an already beyond stressful experience of planning a wedding during COVID, there are not enough words of thanks to Penny for being an outstanding wedding photographer!!

y was so helpful in making sure the entire process went smoothly and efficiently. A few days following our wedding, we immediately had sneak peek photos to look through, and the final photos we received were absolutely unbelievable. Penny was fabulous the day of our wedding. Would give her 10 stars if we could
My fiancé and I were in the unfortunate position of having to reschedule our 2020 wedding due to the pandemic. Penny was wonderfully accommodating and compassionate throughout all ...
of the changes we threw her way – including 2 additional date changes. We ultimately landed in a situation where our new wedding date did not align with her availability, but Penny still went above and beyond to provide an amazing customer experience. She offered to help source a trusted and experienced replacement photographer to shoot for our special day and was able to relieve that burden of us having to find another photographer. My interaction with her just over email and over the phone was so great that when it came time for my business partner and I to have our professional headshots done, I knew just who to turn to. I reached out to Penny and she immediately jumped at the opportunity to work with us on this project. She invited us to her beautiful studio where she had amazing inspiration shots laid out for us to reference. The whole experience was so much fun! I look forward to another opportunity to work with Penny again!
Penny was absolutely amazing and so fun to work with! She took on our wedding with very short notice and made every effort to get as many pictures as she could to highlight our day...
. From dealing with timing issues to laying on the ground with a bad back to get the best angle for a photo ... she did it all! We are so grateful to have been referred to you and we can’t wait to work with you in the future! Thank you so much for capturing our special day and for providing us with memories that we will have for a lifetime!

nny’s experience and professionalism were invaluable.
She took extreme care to capture every moment safely so that we could enjoy our day with our guests. The photo collection came back quickly, and make our home-grown wedding look like a fairy tale dream. We look forward to recommending Penny’s services to absolutely everyone.
Penny is amazing! We had to postpone our big wedding in California due to COVID, but decided to do a mini wedding here in Rhode Island. Penny was so sweet calling us a few times to...
get to know us and what we wanted. She came to the airbnb where the bride was staying and took a few pictures then we went to the venue. The pictures she took during the ceremony really captured the love between the bride and groom. After the ceremony Penny did a great job making sure everyone got the photos they wanted. We loved that we got one picture back before we went to bed that night and just a few weeks later we go the rest of the photos! The online viewing gallery made it very easy for all family members to view the photos! Penny wore a mask and was socially distance but did not let these things interfere with her great photography skills!
Penny is amazing! She did our engagement shoot and ceremony, and will be doing our big reception next year. Not only our her photos fantastic, but her turn around time for editing ...

iciant. Her pictures captured the intimate emotions of the day perfectly, including getting our dog and 5 year old smiling in every photo. Our family was not there but they felt they were when they saw her photos. We cannot wait to have our "1 Year Anniversary Wedding" (she was amazingly proactive in accommodating our postponement) with her next year and am even more excited that we booked her as her perception on our 'style and vibe' was spot on even though we'd never met in person before the elopement.
We had a wonderful experience with Penny! Not only was she very professional and attentive to our requests, her turn around time was outstanding! I would absolutely recommend Penny...

just a few days before our original date asked Penny if she would be able to document our small ceremony with just immediate family. Penny was kind and supportive, and offered to do whatever we needed. Penny has now photographed our surprise engagement in Newport and our last-minute wedding, and we can’t wait to have her when we do it all over again next year for wedding number two!! Book Penny for anything you need photographed, she is an absolute professional, an expert in her field and will make sure your day is documented for decades to come. Thank you Penny!!

ping to make our wedding dreams a reality ! Penny was so easy to work with It was as if we had known her for our entire lives! Everything felt so effortless and comfortable from beginning to end. Penny was so easy to talk to and always replied right away to any questions or concerns we may have had. Penny even drove down towards us in order to meet and talk about exactly what we wanted for our wedding day which made us feel super confident in the process. The wedding day was better than I could of ever imagined in huge part to Penny and her team. From the moment she arrived till the time she left she worked to capture every angle of our wedding and to get our must have photos with ease. She works so hard and had our sneak peak posted by the time our plane touched down in Florida the next morning! We feel so confident in the work she has done and are swooning over the pictures she has given us! I would highly recommend Penny for any photography needs for your wedding she is ABSOLUTELY the best!

or overbearing - such a skill! We did both an engagement shoot and our full wedding shoot with her. The engagement shoot was a great way to get used to having a bunch of photos taken of you and see what works, I highly recommend it. The day of the wedding Penny was great, she got everything we wanted and had some fun extra suggestions for us to try that came out great. She got all the photos to us very timely. The online gallery is easy to use, and the USB she mailed is beautifully presented. We also purchased an album. We couldn’t be happier with Penny’s services through every step of the process and highly recommend her.

omfortable while coming up with great ideas for shots and backgrounds. While there were shots we wish could've been a little tighter on us (the kiss at the end of the ceremony, our sparkler exit), overall the quality was great and the price was very affordable. Thanks, Penny, for capturing our special day!

riendly, funny, flexible, and provided (much needed) guidance but was also happy to listen to what we liked and didn't. Our wedding wasn't a formal affair, and Penny rolled with all our decisions and took just absolutely stunning photos. On top of that, we were dealing with some delays and problems with set up, so Penny stepped right in and helped decorate our tables!! We are going to treasure our wedding album for the rest of our lives, and are so incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to have Penny as our photographer.

nd I didn't know of anyone. Penny exceeded our expectations! From my husband's point of view, she had an injured foot but still got down on the ground to get the perfect shot/angle - thats how he knew she's the best! That day she also had lots of other ideas for us for our engagement shoot and took the time to get to know us and get the absolute perfect pictures. She is very prompt with responding to emails and getting the pictures/album back so quickly! Not to mention, my mother in law says she is the best photographer she has ever seen! I may have to agree.... I have seen a lot of wedding photos and I am glad I wasn't fooled by some of the filtered or flashy photos that look cheesy. Our pictures are classy, timeless, but look like a fairy tale. She captured every detail of the day, organized them (which helped so much!!) and even created the album for us. Her photo websites are easy to use (which I didn't even think about when looking for a photographer) and it was a huuuge help. No regrets here.. Follow her on insta/FB and you'll see:) Thanks again Penny!

ou never have to feel lost or confused on your busy, sometimes stressful day. She will make sure you get the results you want. We met with her twice before our June 2018 wedding and she met us halfway between her home in RI and our home in CT, armed with plenty of her work to show us ad help us customize the perfect package for our wants, needs and budget. Her packages are really good deals as far as what they include and what they cost. I was amazed by the price compared to many other highly priced photographers. Her work is quality and she gets it done quick. We had previews the next morning, and the full album in less than 2 weeks. You get full access to all the photos online, a flashdrive with all the pictures, and the ability for your family and friends to logon and get download pictures too, among any other idea you may come up with that you want to include in your package. I had taken ideas from other photographers packages that were more expensive, and Penny was able to include those ideas in ours for the better price. You can't go wrong with using Penny for your photography needs.

dding photos were beautiful, but beyond that, the entire experience working with her was amazing. Penny is a true professional who was always on time for every meeting, took the time to understand our inspiration, and came prepared to capture all the shots that we wanted...and more! During the wedding, she was non-invasive but made sure to get all the photos we wanted and all the photos turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined! We were extremely satisfied with the entire process and the package of photos she provides. We would highly recommend working with Penny to capture your special day!
Penny was THE BEST photographer we could’ve asked for on our special day! Not only is she super professional and an amazing photographer, you can see she truly cares for her client...
s and loves what she does. We were married in late October in the middle of a nor’easter, rain and winds did not stop us from getting the pictures of our dreams.
Her turnaround time is perfect! We were able to relive our favorite day on our one month anniversary and she even provided us with a sneak peak just a day after the wedding. She is super sweet and so calm. Her organization and directions were just what we needed for a large bridal party and the most awkward couple when it comes to picture taking 😅
Just remember when you are searching for photographers, you cannot put a price on pictures and Penny is worth every cent. I was lucky to find Newport’s best and thankful for her time and the memories we will have forever!
Thank you SO much Penny!

Penny's fun and professional work style is top notch. When we saw Penny on our wedding day, it was like seeing a family member or friend. She is so genuine and immensely talented. Penny accommodates special shot requests and works hard to make sure you get every pose, spot or group shot you want. Her photos speak for themselves. She captures couples, families, and pets so beautifully.
I know we'll be booking with Penny again in the future! Thank you SO MUCH, Penny!
