se and many folks at my wedding loved the food (though, my salmon was much too dry). I loved that I didn't need to worry about decorating the hall. I brought everything in the day before the wedding and when we arrived at PVCC for the reception, it looked beautiful! They know how to run a wedding and are definitely a steal for anyone considering a reception in the greater Bangor area!

as getting ready to go down the aisle, one of my hor'devorse was forgotten, and not all of my decorations were used. Otherwise the wedding went of wonderfully. The bill came to a little more than I was hoping but it turned out well worth it.

ng! The reception went very well - food was very good, the place looked amazing, the staff was very efficient. There were only a few problems... The first was that we rented the hall until 11pm and by 9:30p they started to clean everything up and were taking away drinks. Many people had lost their drinks due to the waiters cleaning up and had to repay for another one- we did not find this acceptable as the bar bill then continues to rise but nobody finishes their drinks! The next was that afterwards we noticed things were not placed out at the reception but left in a box, the staff had taken candy from our candy bar rather than placing it out (this was not cheap candy... we're talking pounds of Lindt balls and fudge)...my mother found that they wrapped my cake topper into my veil, and just a few other problems. Overall the place was very nice but we felt that there were things that could have been done better by the staff. When these problems were brought up we were surprised that there was no apologies/possibly offering a small amount of cash back for damages/taking property. We also noticed that there was no left over cake when there should have been plenty - each slice was $7.50 and we know how much the cake lady gave us... we just weren't happy with details like this. BUT AGAIN! The place was gorgeous and I think that if someone was keeping a closer eye on a few details that maybe things would have been fine.

d and atmosphere around. They were willing to assist in so many ways, Charles (the Manager) was incredibly accommodating and willing to bend over backward to make our day what we had envisioned. They worked with us to cater the menu to our budget and tastes and their waitstaff was professional and very friendly. The food was exceptional, we had the filet mignon and salmon, which typically served in large quantities can be tricky, but it was flawless. All of our guests have raved about how excellent their meals were! Charles met all of the vendors for deliveries, insured all guests were satisfied and relieved a lot of the bridal stress that comes with planning a big wedding. We were able to take photos on the grounds, which are beautiful! We are so happy we decided to have our reception at PVCC and highly recommend it!
