Working with Michelle at Pentimento Design out of Suffield, CT, was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From our very first conversation, it was clear that Michelle possessed an incredible talent and a unique ability to understand my vision. As the first florist I reached out to, I was immediately impressed by her enthusiasm and the way she instantly grasped the moody, jewel-toned floral aesthetic I was hoping for. The flowers she provided were nothing short of breathtaking. On our wedding day, she arrived early to expertly set up the two stunning standing arrangements that beautifully framed our ceremony altar. The bouquets she designed for my sister and me were simply gorgeous. They were the perfect embodiment of the rich, deep colors I had envisioned. Beyond her artistic talent, Michelle was an absolute dream to work with. She was consistently professional, incredibly responsive to my numerous questions, and exceptionally organized throughout the entire process. No detail was overlooked, and I always felt confident that we were on the same page. What also impressed us was Michelle's affordability without compromising on the quality or beauty of her work. She has a truly beautiful eye for how flowers should come together, creating arrangements that felt both intentional and effortlessly elegant. Michelle herself is so nice and approachable, making the planning process a joy. She was also incredibly flexible, accommodating a few minor adjustments we made along the way with grace and ease. If you are looking for a florist who can truly bring your floral dreams to life with artistry, professionalism, and a wonderful personal touch, I wholeheartedly recommend Michelle and Pentimento Design. Working with Sarah at Pentimento Flowers was an absolute dream! Her creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to my vision were off the charts. Sarah and her team are just wonderful! Truly the kindest people! We loved the design booklet they sent us prior to our wedding, their flexibility, and professionalism. Our flowers looked stunning and it is very clear they know what they are doing! Their passion for flowers shined through & made our wedding beautiful!

Sarah was a dream to work with. She was very accommodating to our budget and our vision - conscious of our knowledge (or lack thereof) of flowers but also wanting to create a beautiful day for us. The highlight of our arrangements was definitely our sweetheart table where we had a very long garland with pillar candles that created a magical and romantic vibe. We highly recommend Pentimento Design to anyone looking for an outstanding floral team!

Sarah and the pentimento/one fine day floral team made our wedding day vision come to life! Sarah was THE MOST organized vendor I worked with during the wedding planning process and her attention to detail was unmatched! She was very accommodating and super responsive (even on the day of the wedding when I had a question). The flexibility to make changes up until 2 weeks before was awesome and I loved meeting with her in person and looking at different options. Her expertise is unmatched!! The flowers were gorgeous and my bouquet was exactly wasI envisioned. 10/10!!!

I had the privilege of using Pentimento Flowers for my New England farm wedding this past September and the flowers and bouquets absolutely surpassed my greatest expectations!!! I knew the flowers would be beautiful which is why I chose Pentimento, but I was honestly not prepared for just how amazing they were!! Paula and Tamara are fun and easy to work with and truly made my dreams a reality- I was blown away with my flowers and still am every time I look at the wedding photos. Paula was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding in April! I was so thrilled with how everything turned out on our wedding day - my bouquet and bridesmaids' bouquets were absolutely stunning, the boutonnières for my husband, groomsmen and family members were so tasteful, my mother's corsage was breathtaking, the flower girls' baskets were adorable, and our centerpieces and other decor items were so elegant. Best of all was Paula herself. Aside from being a true artist she is a real professional. From our initial planning she did a great job finding out what I was looking for and what I wasn't and I felt as though she truly understood my vision and I trusted her completely. She made me so at ease about everything leading up to my wedding day. She arrived on time to deliver the flowers to me before the wedding and made sure my wedding party knew all her tricks to keep our flowers looking their best throughout the day/night. I would highly recommend Paula and Pentimento Design to anyone looking for a talented and professional florist!

Paula and her team at Pentimento are the best of the best. Their knowledge of flowers and floral design is limitless and it shows through their work. Paula took my ideas and translated them in to centerpieces and bouquets that were absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on them!

Paula and Tamara are artists. Their vision, expertise and creativity are unparalleled. They helped to create and perfect my vision for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding, everything from the flowers, lighting, table cloths, votives, napkins, chargers, serving platters etc. They brought my vision to life in a far more beautiful way than I could have imagined. From the beginning of the planning process from the execution on the day they were flawless- no minor detail goes unnoticed. Paula and Tamara have a unique gift which is seen in the quality of their work, everyone at our wedding was complimenting the flowers and decor. They were also such a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend them enough!

Pentimento was recommended to us by our wedding planner. From the first meeting with Paula, my husband and I felt comfortable with entrusting her with selecting and arranging the flowers for our in-home July wedding. She visited our home multiple times and talked to us about our taste in order to make sure she understood who we are as a couple and the type of wedding we wanted. We understood that she is not a cookie cutter by-the-book florist who could tell us exactly what she was going to create. She is an artist and we had to trust her to work her magic. The only guidance we gave was that we wanted simplicity, unconventional and peonies worked into the arrangements. Well, she delivered in spades. My bouquet and flower designs were magnificent! She took into consideration the decor of our home and our taste in creating our flower arrangements. Flowers were strategically and tastefully placed throughout the house, as if they were always there. We are very happy we entrusted Paula with the flowers for our wedding. Frankly, it was a bit unnerving to have such blind faith because, until we saw the arrangements, we did not know what we were going to get. We simply knew that our wedding planner loved her work and were impressed with the photos she showed us. As it turned out, Paula understood our aesthetic as well as the mood we were aiming for. She also helped with the selection of our linen, chairs, and tableware. Her input was invaluable. To say that we were pleased with her work would be an understatement. I honestly don't remember what we paid only that it was not cheap but it also wasn't outrageous. I do remember thinking it was worth every penny!

Planning my wedding from London was difficult with so many variables but I knew as soon as I spoke to Paula at Pentimento Design we were in tried and true hands. Pentimento listened completely to the vision for our wedding and had wonderful suggestions in areas I had not thought of (candles, chargers, length of the table cloths). Every time we spoke we were on the exact same wavelength and I was stunned to see the vision of my bridal bouquet come to life the day of. It was so beautiful and exactly how I imaged it with dramatic cafe au lair dahlias and cascading pieces. My new husband is English and to weave in the English tradition Pentimento suggested we use boxwood accents and hang white bunting flags around the reception. The affect was simply lovely and everyone loved it!! It was like Lady Mary’s wedding from Downton Abbey:). The bouquets, center pieces, boxwood touches, bunting flags were striking complements to our wedding day. I am so happy we worked Pentimento Design. I only wish we could do it all again!

Paula is truly the best in the business. Her flowers are not only drop dead gorgeous, but they are unique, truly one of a kind! She was such a pleasure to work with, I had lots of ideas of what I liked and she was able to offer guidance and input while taking into consideration all of my ideas and created the most beautiful flowers, centerpieces and bouquets I have ever seen (all while being able to stay within my budget).

Pentimento design did an amazing job on the flowers for my wedding. Paula really listened to how I described the feeling I wanted the flowers to communicate--organic yet elegant. And even though I was having a winter wedding, I did not want winter whites. Paula helped me choose vibrant red blooms for my bouquet beyond the usual red roses, and she even helped me pick a stunning and unexpected shade of light blush that went beautifully with my red bridesmaid dresses. The centerpieces were beautiful. She was open to using some beautiful birch bark that my dad collected for my wedding, which meant so much to me. And she chose amaryllis, which was a flower my grandmother always grew at Christmas, which she learned when we met to talk about the flowers. The flowers arrived on time, and were fresh and beautiful. She followed all of my must-haves, but was also very helpful in guiding me when I was struggling with decisions. Using in season flowers was important to me, and Paula fully supported me. I feel like the flowers made my winter wedding feel warm and alive and welcoming for my guests. I couldn't have dreamed of more beautiful flowers.

When I was first looking for a florist for my wedding it took very little research to understand the difference in the vision of Paula Gallo and Pentimento Flowers. It was a very easy decision to work with Paula after seeing images of her stunning cascading arrangements. But I never could have imagined just how well Paula and her team would execute on the beginnings of what I had as a vision for a 230-guest country wedding in my parents' back yard. In addition to delivering absolutely gorgeous arrangements for my bridesmaids and our entire reception, Paula procured all of our linens and table décor (votives, wine bottle vases, etc.), and determined all of our church decorations within our budget. The look and feel of our wedding would have been far inferior without Paula's guidance. I would encourage any bride to put full trust in Paula and the Pentimento Team to execute on an absolutely beautiful event.

We were very happy with our experience with Paula and Pentimento flowers. Her prices were the most reasonable of any of the flower vendors that we spoke with, and her work is gorgeous. We loved our flowers, and were so impressed with the customer service- Paula made a last minute change to my bouquet to ensure that I was happy even when she had two other weddings the same day as ours. Excellent!

Where to begin?! Pentimento Design helped make our wedding the most perfect, special day. The flowers were simply GORGEOUS. They not only reflected who I am, but also the vision of our wedding. The thought and care that went into the bouquets, ceremony decor and centerpieces was absolutely astounding. Every detail was well planned and so amazingly executed. In fact, when my mom and I saw my bouquet for the first time we both broke into tears. The rest of the flowers complemented my bouquet in such impeccable fashion. Pentimento is not just about the flowers though. The amount of time that was spent discussing and sifting through pictures of flowers went above and beyond what we paid for. Their efforts were consistent and genuinely filled with such patience and care, which helped make for an unforgettable experience. We are still receiving compliments on everything! Thank you to Pentimento for ALL that you did; we are so appreciative. You helped to make our wedding day into the fairytale we always dreamed of.

Paula and Tammy were amazing to work with! They have ideas are fun, fresh and fabulous! They worked with my vision and budget to create breathtaking arrangements. I got so many compliments from my guests on the centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres. The planning process was fun and they were extremely helpful with all details. I recommended them to a friend for her wedding and they did an amazing job for her as well. I would recommend them again to any bride!

A friend of my husband recommended Pentimento for our wedding flowers. We had a backyard wedding that was pretty DIY and I had very specific ideas of what I wanted, but no vocabulary to describe it (and unfortunately no such thing as Pinterest yet to make it easier!) I had one meeting with Paula and after ten minutes of talking she started to show me some ideas that were absolutely perfect for what I had in mind. She has an incredible ability to figure out your style and work with you, suggesting flowers I'd never seen or heard of before and even coming up with less expensive ideas for table vases that fit perfectly with our wedding decor. When I look back on our photos from that day, I wish I could change my hairdo, and that I'd picked a different dress, but the flowers remain absolutely perfect. Paula is so personable and wonderful to work with. I recommend her to anyone who needs flowers for any occasion!

The owner Paul Gallo has an amazing eye for bridal bouquets and wedding decor! I did not give her much guidance because I don't know much about flowers or arrangements so I gave Mrs.Gallo a pretty free range! She delivered te most unique boqueta that were perfect for our venue and one of a kind, truly the way I like it! She also helped work with me in budget. Wherever she can she makes it a point to work with the customer and figure out the best way to get the design your lookin for for the amount you can afford. She is truly awesome and we loved working with her! Soo many compliments on our cwnterpieces!!!
