so I was nervous I would be lost in this process but Deb understood my vision 100%! The proposal she sent over was 200x better than any of the other vendors I consulted with, as she included images, pricing, and her recommendations on what to do at our specific venue/amount of people coming. I do not know what I would have done without her -- she proposed the best ideas and options for my table arrangements, along with the alter, all while trying her best to stay within the initial budget we discussed! She knew I did not want anything over the top, but also wanted it to be cohesive with our black + white modern vibe. Day of, I almost cried (but couldn't ruin my makeup) when I saw the beautiful flower details at my reception, ballroom, and bouquets. Every single detail we spoke on was perfectly executed, and being a total type A bride, this meant SO much to me. I got so many compliments on the simplicity, yet beauty of my different centerpieces, and I was blown away by our signature table display. If it wasn't for Deb and her AMAZING advice, I would've never known what to do for my wedding flowers, but I cannot thank her enough for her opinions and transparency throughout the process, from start to finish! I think one of the underrated competencies of a florist partner is their ability to read situations and understand their clients (in addition to being highly creative). veryone raved about it throughout the night - Deb & Team did not match what was aligned to in my quote for the fireplace. The fireplace was extremely important as it was the focal point of the ballroom. We aligned on an asymmetrical look with lots of candles per the quote. What I got instead was a straight across swag almost with minimal candles. This is in the backdrop of all of our speeches/key moments - so I was upset it wasn't done right. What hurt me more is that there was no acknowledgment from Deb when I reached out to her afterwards. Though it was beautiful, trusting my vendors is most important, so for that reason I wouldn't use Peonies to Paint Chips in the future.

Over the year, my vision changed, I had concerns about choices I'd made, and Deb and her team ALWAYS made time to call me, make changes to my invoice, and talk through all of my thoughts, they were all so patient. Even at the end AFTER the final walk through, they made time to have yet another call to make sure we were all on the same page. The photos don't do it justice, but our day was BEAUTIFUL because of them, even better than I imagined. We received SO many compliments on our florals/décor – the word of the day from our guests was “enchanting”. I didn't see one thing out of place or wrong from our original discussions (which if you plan a wedding, you know will happen at least once somewhere). We did a chuppah, seating chart, centerpieces, lighting, and other cocktail hour decor through Peonies and I'm so happy with how it all turned out! Deb is the consummate professional and her vision when Alex told her they wanted an enchanted garden vibe was brought to life down to the last detail. This wedding was postponed several times due to the pandemic and the work schedules of two physicians who were trying to carve out time to get married. Deb and her team worked with us through all aspects of creating the perfect space, from flower selection to centerpieces to accent decor. When the weather looked like it was not going to cooperate for an outdoor Fiddler's Elbow terrace ceremony the team worked wonders and created a garden in the ballroom and once the service was over, they were able to incorporate the decor into the reception space--creating a focal point for the sweetheart table to give the couple some private space. When we hired Deb and the team, we felt it was important to explain the theme Alexand Brian wanted, but also to trust that she could execute the vision. Deb delivered, and then some. She is a true artist with flowers and decor and everywhere you looked, it was as if you were viewing a work of art. Guests could not stop oohing and ahhing and were exploring every inch of the space which is what you want. We had chosen linens that seemed appropriate at the time, but when we told Deb, she suggested a different color which we went with and it was amazing. This is why you hire experts--she did know what would work best from linens to centerpiece height to variety of structures thoughout. If you want to be able to check one aspect off the wedding planning list, we would highly recommend Deb and her team. They are knowledgeable, professional, and true artists with an anything is possible attitude, and frankly, just plain fun to work with. Idk if it was the time of year and flowers are just not as easy to come by? Additionally I felt like by the end of the night a lot of them were dropping/ dying. My sisters flowers latest beautifully for a week after her wedding. I didn’t care because it was the end of the night and the pictures were over but a little sad they didn’t last longer.
