Many of our guests commented on what a wonderful job she was doing during the wedding. Speaking as someone who grew up with a professional photographer as a father, I feel qualified in saying that Logan’s photos are truly spectacular. It was extremely clear to us that Logan is very experienced. She had previously worked with our venue (Main Library downtown) and caterer (Culinary Crafts). This turned out to be a godsend since we didn’t have a wedding planner. Logan really went above and beyond by helping out with a few of the unforeseen details. For example, she met us during our rehearsal and gently helping arrange our wedding party lineup for the ceremony. She was also able to provide a lot of helpful advice and suggestions leading up to the wedding. Logan has an amazing “bride bedside manner” that really helped my wife feel more relaxed during one of the most stressful days of her life. Logan was worth every penny we spent and then some. I would use Pepper Nix again in a heartbeat.

Once I settled on La Caille as my venue, I noticed that Pepper Nix Photography had photographed many of the images La Caille used in their vendor packet. I wanted someone who was familiar with La Caille, someone who could enhance the gorgeous location. Pepper’s work truly brought out the beauty La Caille offers, while still showcasing the wedding. I immediately arranged to meet with her when I came home to UT for the holidays. My sisters and mom came with me to meet with Pepper to discuss the possibility of her shooting my wedding. She answered any questions or concerns we had and gave us additional information about La Caille. We were concerned about having the wedding at 5 pm and whether or not the sun would be in guests’ eyes or on the wedding party. We asked Pepper, and she actually knew within 5 minutes the time the sunsets for our projected wedding date of August 29. Who would know something like that?!? Pepper! This woman knows her profession inside and out, and that is exactly the kind of person I wanted shooting our wedding. We were so impressed with her. Pepper shot my bridals as well as our wedding, both at La Caille. The photos are stunning, and I have no idea how we will ever choose which ones to frame. Pepper has an infectious personality which helps everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. She got greats shots of both mine and my husband’s family, which is no easy feat! You may notice that Pepper calls herself a Wedding Photojournalist. For many photographers, I think the title would be slightly self aggrandizing - but not for Pepper - it seriously describes her work perfectly. As I scrolled through all of my images, I noticed that each image truly did tell a story - our photo album is a walking journal full of beautiful memories that we will cherish always. From taking photos of the surrounding mountains and gorgeous landscape that was unique to La Caille on our special day, to immortalizing the perfect table setting with centerpieces, to capturing moments of laughter and love with the guests, bride, and groom, all in her unique perspective, all through her lens. Not everyone has the talent Pepper possesses, and I’m so glad she was able to share that with us.

ou feel beautiful! I was incredibly impressed with every picture she took. We really wanted candid shots and that's exactly what we got! Sometimes you forget you're even taking pictures because everything is so fun and natural! The only thing I would caution someone about it that she is very expensive, but her pictures are some of the best I have ever seen (and she is such a wonderful person to work with!)
