Owner Logan Vanasse has over 15 years of experience working as a full-time DJ and holds a degree in audio engineering. In 2018 he founded Perfect Cadence Events to reflect his passion and commitment to excellence. Specializing in remote location ceremonies, his services have benefited countless weddings throughout New England. Perfect Cadence Events offers full-service wedding DJ packages including ceremony sound, cocktails, reception and even after-party. The core "Essential DJ" package offered includes five hours of coverage, wireless microphones, discrete dance floor lighting, and consultations with your DJ before the event. You can also choose to add enhanced light shows to set the mood on the dance floor. With Perfect Cadence Events at your wedding, your guests will have the time of their lives!

His career began as an Audio Engineer with a keen ear and vast technical knowledge. He then quickly became a multi-faceted "jack-of-all-trades" when he became the manager of a large event entertainment and production company for 10 years. Now, with his own company, he has traded a few hats and added some as well. From planning events to programming lights, erupting dancefloors to capturing the sweetest moments Logan does it all at a high level of proficiency and quality. Perfect Cadence was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we couldn't have started with a better decision. Logan was the best. He was super easy to coordinate with and he was always willing to talk things over to make sure we were on the same page. On our wedding day, he was excellent and provided an outstanding experience. He was able to read the room and got everyone on the dance floor which we wanted! All generations were up and having a good time. He was a pro and when we had a few questions on the day, he was super flexible with whatever came up! He was a stable presence on the day that we needed. We would highly recommend booking them and would go to them if we ever had another need for a DJ!

Logan DJed our October 2024 wedding and he was incredible! Not only was he very professional but he also was kind and helpful. We used the app option and could select songs, add notes and customize the schedule items to work for our wedding day timeline. He made sure our wedding officiant was mic'ed with speakers so all of our guests could hear the ceremony well and even had an additional microphone for our vows. We had two separate room for dinner and he made sure there were speakers in both spaces so all of the guests could hear the toasts and speeches. He had very fun lighting for the dance floor which made fur SUCH a fun dance floor experience. We would highly recommend Logan for any wedding or event!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the start, communication was seamless. Logan was attentive to our preferences, responded quickly, and made sure every detail was covered. On the day of the wedding, Logan was on top of things. The sound quality, equipment and execution during the ceremony was excellent - he managed different speakers, music and the processionals well. Later in the night, the music and events were managed expertly. He was flexible, attentive and fun. Our guests loved the reception and Logan made it easy. Highly recommend working with Logan, you won't regret it.

We hired Perfect Cadence Events for our wedding in June 2024 for videography and DJ and we are so glad we did. Logan, the owner, was our videographer and he was so professional, kind, and great to work with. He is super quick with communication, answered all of our questions, and he made sure to ask the right questions to capture our wedding day the way we wanted. On our wedding day, he gave us some advice and helped calm our nerves, he was so friendly. We did a ceremony video and a highlights reel and added on toasts. They were all so great and I can't wait to watch them every year on our anniversary. A lot of my friends told us they wished they had a videographer at their wedding and I can see why. It will be so great to have these memories to watch over and over. Then we had Mike as our DJ and he was great to work with. We had a couple of phone calls and they use an online platform to ask you questions and to put in must play songs, etc and it was awesome to have because it made sure we didn't forget anything and that we had everything we wanted. I highly recommend Perfect Cadence!

Logan was our DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was so professional and organized. He made sure to give our wedding party and us clear direction and what to expect to keep to our timeline and have a great experience. He always had a smile and interacted with us and guests. He makes sure to go over many details to understand the vibe of the wedding and guests and works closely with the bride and groom to figure out what genres and types of songs to play at the wedding. I cannot express how great it was working with Logan! He exceeded every expectation we had and went above and beyond to ensure we felt good about our wedding day. Logan is really easy to work with, incredibly knowledgable and engaging, and understands how to toe the multi-generational, and multi-cultural, line of music. It's clear he loves what he does, and our guests absolutely raved about the song selection at our wedding. Whether it was him playing Top 40 music, or traditional Mexican songs, people were always busy dancing! More than anything, in Logan, you have someone who you know cares about attention to detail, and making sure that everything goes off without a hitch, going as far as mashing up specific songs/requests hours before the wedding. 5 star experience!

I wish I could give more than 5 starts! Logan was incredible to work with and coordinate- he helped the planning process, gave advise, and was very flexible. Our DJ, Duane was the BEST. He did such a great job, he played all the music that we wanted and fit the vibe so well with the songs he picked out. His communication was impeccable, and overall was lovely to be around for our wedding date. Thank you guys so much for the incredible work. 10/10 recommend for a Vermont wedding!!!

I would highly recommend Perfect Cadence Events for your DJ needs for any event! Working with Logan when booking them for our wedding was super easy. He was flexible and made time for phone calls that worked with my crazy nightshift schedule. Logan was knowledgeable about the wedding business and offered great information to questions I didn’t even know I should ask. DJ Mike worked with us for our wedding and was amazing. He was available to discuss specifics the week of our wedding and catered to all of our specific requests. He also gave great input from working many weddings before (even some at our own wedding venue!). On the day of the wedding Mike was upbeat and friendly and made sure to keep the night on track with our timeline. Mike played the best music and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Overall Perfect Cadence Events was super great to work with making the wedding planning process slightly less stressful and putting my mind at ease for our big day!

They were communicative, flexible, and made our wedding perfect. Duane absolutely crushed it start to finish. Logan will not disappoint! He was so helpful with every aspect of our wedding. He is very easy to get in touch with, and if he does not answer, he calls back as soon as he can. He makes you his priority the whole week leading up to the wedding. He even accommodated my last minute changes in songs the week of. Logan was such a professional the entire planning time, he even helped us find other vendors. If you're looking for an incredibly friendly, calm, professional DJ- look no further! We couldn't be happier that we choose Perfect Cadence Events to DJ our wedding. Logan was so calm and easy to talk to throughout the planning process, which was a nice break from all the stress of organizing a wedding. After looking at our songs, he got excited by our choices and we knew he was going to help our vision come to life. We were stumped on what to do for our cake cutting song, but he suggested combining Across the Stars and Duel of Fates from Star Wars. That was one of our favorite moments of the night and we loved that he came up with that idea and executed it flawlessly. We can’t say enough great things about Logan & Perfect Cadence! Logan went above and beyond with his communication and preparedness for our wedding day. It was clear how important our wedding was to him, and he was incredibly flexible, kind, and knowledgeable about the whole process. When we needed to figure out a Zoom component for our ceremony, Logan helped us out beyond what we could have imagined. He was so easy to work with, and helped make our music vision become a reality. He was very prepared, and everything went flawlessly. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about it, and we are still buzzing ourselves! We could not recommend Logan more! He played all of our “must have” songs (at the perfect times) and avoided all our “do not plays.” More importantly, he spent time with us before our wedding to understand exactly what we wanted, and all of the music he played matched our likes and dislikes and perfectly fit the moment for each part of the wedding. Most of our guests never left the dance floor, and awesome DJing definitely set the tone for an amazing and fun party. We felt that Logan was a real partner and expertly tailored his work to us. Not to mention just how responsive and easy he was to work with, which was really appreciated given how much else we had going on in planning the event. Truly a great experience with Perfect Cadence!

Logan exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend him! Aptly named, Perfect Cadence Events was the perfect choice to DJ our wedding. Logan was outstanding before and during the wedding. In the months leading up to the day he checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed, and that he understood what we were expecting from him. On the day he was very attentive, and very respectfully checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going as we hoped, which it was! We had worked with Logan on a playlist so he knew the vibe we were going for, and everything he played kept the dance floor packed all night! He was excellent at reading the room and keeping people moving. He created a wonderful atmosphere with his music and lighting, and we received many compliments about him. We were extremely happy with Logan and recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ!

Logan was fantastic. From the first phone call we had with him he made us aware of events in the wedding we didn't even know would happen and helped us figure out how we wanted everything to flow and timings of everything. He worked with our wedding planner and officiant to get everything organized day of. Even when our transportation to the venue got backed up and the ceremony started 20 minutes late he still helped everything run smooth throughout the rest of the night. When it came time for dancing he politely shutdown a request from my aunt for a song that was on our do no play list, but then slid in the cha-cha slide after I asked him to indulge my family and play it. The dance floor was full the entire night. There was maybe one lull in dancing and he immediately fixed that with a song that filled the dance floor again. Truly can't say enough good things about him.

We COULD NOT have been happier with the music for the night. Logan did an amazing job. We provided a handful of songs we wanted to hear (all played) and our general taste and let Logan take it from there- it was easy to see he nailed it because our dance floor was crowded all night long. Also the communication along the way was super helpful, even with our last minute change ups. Logan was also willing and able to answer any questions we had. We would hands down recommend Logan!

If music is a top priority for your wedding or event Perfect Cadence Events is the DJ for you. Logan uses his vast experience and expertise to suggest the perfect songs. Not only did he know how to play the perfect song for each portion of the night he also knew how to transition perfectly to the next song. The guests did not leave the dance floor all night which is a true testament of great DJ. Logan was nothing but professional and attentive to the wedding party's every need and request.
