nting the proof that she made this unauthorized alteration of my dress. It is likely that because I asked her to alter the waist on a different garment, she got the two switched up. I approached her honestly about this mistake, showing documented before and after photos. She became extremely unprofessional, yelling, swearing and stating that she has "never made a mistake in 40 years" and to top it off, accused me of gaining weight even though we had clear photos. In addition to this, the hem was poorly done (2 inches longer on one side). I ultimately had to go to David's Bridal to expedite the revisions and I cannot recommend them enough. I wish I could provide more details in this review to go on about the accusations she made and irrational explanation for her mistake but I am tired from the emotional damage she caused and wish to save my breath.

, the owner made rude and unprofessional comments about the bride.
When inquiring about a certain desired alteration, the owner told the bride that she should lose weight or tone her arms and back to achieve the look she desired. Under no circumstances should comments like this be made to anyone, let alone a bride stressing about their perfect day. This type of hateful rhetoric can do significant damage on someone's self esteem, especially considering you do not know what struggles people deal with behind closed doors. If an alteration cannot be done to a client's specifications, explain why or refer them elsewhere.
Please do better as a business owner on how you interact with others, and if you are a bride-to-be or looking for alterations, I suggest that you go elsewhere and support a business that uplifts others instead of tearing them down.
