He made sure we had drinks before toasts, informed my dad and my husbands mom before the respective father daughter/mother son dances were to happen, and played all of the songs we said were ‘must play.’ His sound system during the ceremony was incredible and we got tons of compliments about how well the guests could hear us - both the officiant and groom were mic-ed up with lapel mics and we were all very clear in sound when speaking. Additionally, we had an afternoon wedding, and we were told afternoon weddings = guests leaving early and not wanting to stay and dance. Ryan’s mix of music was so great, we couldn’t get out guests to leave. When we had our initial consultation with Ryan, we asked him to make us feel like guests at our own wedding, and we put him in charge of all our music other than a few special songs we picked out. We and our guests had a blast and it was all because of Ryan. People go to weddings for the cute newlyweds, the food, and the music. If you hire Ryan, you’re already 1/3 of the way to a great wedding. And he doesn’t just do weddings, so keep him in mind for other events and parties. You can count on him to be professional, helpful, energetic and fun.

Alex and Ryan put together an incredible arrangement of music that made everyone dance from the first song to the last. We even were told we got the season award for the party who danced the longest! We couldn’t have been happier!

He had all equipment necessary to help the ceremony and reception run smoothly. Before the ceremony, Ryan took the time to come up to our bridal party suites (on site) and made sure to let us know everything was set up and asked if we had any last minute questions. He made sure we felt comfortable and confident with the process and pumped us up before we headed down the aisle. Ryan consistently checked in with us to make sure the timing for everything was exactly what we wanted. He happily took requests during the dancing portion of the reception. We loved all the music Ryan played before the ceremony, and during our reception. We felt like he knew exactly what went with the overall vibe of the wedding. We honestly would recommend Ryan to anyone and everyone. He made our wedding day such a great experience and his passion and enthusiasm for ensuring everyone was having a great time is truly everything we could have hoped for in a vendor on our big day. Of course, our first meeting was nothing short of that; he showed up dressed professionally but with a big smile on his face being so ready to help with more than just the music. And what was decisive for us was the fact that he genuinely cares and not even for a second did he make us feel like we are just another couple or that he is just trying to sell his services, like other DJs....you don't have to trust me, just give him a chance, have a phone conversation with him before or after talking to other DJs and you too will be sold when you see the difference. That day me and my husband knew he was the right guy that would go above and beyond to help us during our big day. And he did - he was prompt replying to my numerous email, gave us great advice about how to incorporate Romanian music ( I am Romanian) so it's not too much, but enough to make all guests have a great time ( and our guests were though not big dancers, very impressed with the music), he worked with me on the timeline for the day and he always assures me that everything will turn out perfect. And it did...Ryan was impeccable, the Romanian/ American/ International music combination was perfect ( and Ryan had to choose from a long list we gave him) and all the guests, though not big dancers, enjoyed the music and the atmosphere Ryan created so effortlessly. J, he was an MC and really helped bring the day together. He helped us build a timeline and made sure to guide the night appropriately. He was great during the ceremony and cocktail hour but things went to another level during the reception. We had an early wedding (4pm) so the reception started around 530. Once the dancing started around 7 it didn't stop until they had to close the venue! He did a great job of mixing in new songs and classic hits and most of all he kept the entire party engaged the whole night. If you are looking for someone with great energy and passion for what they do, Ryan is your guy. We couldn't be happier with our decision to pick Perfect Memory Events!

Hein, the owner of this company, he was always there to answer any questions I had and talked to me over the phone for almost an hour about every detail of our wedding. He even created a timeline for me before even hiring him, which helped me so much because I hadn't even thought of creating one yet! Ryan went above and beyond from the initial meeting, he let us know George would be our DJ since Ryan was himself was already booked. From there George was able to take the time to also call me and talk with me about my wedding vision, music and needs. He even went out of his way to meet with me in person the one weekend I was going to be in town, since I was planning a wedding from out of state. Ryan and George both maintained communication with me which made it SO easy to plan from another state. The day of George arrived early to make sure everything was set up and ready to go, he was SO attentive to Chris and I and really went above and beyond just his DJ/MC duties. It was so hot the day of our wedding, at one point George brought Chris and I some waters while we were out taking pictures during cocktail hour. He was also checking in with our photographer throughout the day to make sure we were good with time and what event of our wedding would take place next. He also worked to tweak the timeline throughout the day just to make sure our day flowed well and we stayed on time for everything, he was such a huge help. It was the little details like this that really impressed me with George. Not to mention the dance floor was packed the entire night of our wedding!!!!! He played the best songs and completely understood the vision my husband and I had. We were so blessed and lucky to have had George as our DJ and Ryan as well to work with the entire journey of our wedding. He did an excellent job of amplifying our ceremony as well. With Ryan you don't have to worry about the cheesy DJ stereotype. Instead of dominating the event as some DJs do, he got everyone's attention when we needed and took a background role when appropriate. We had some complicated music cues and obscure music choices and he nailed every one of them. Ryan's expertise is not limited to the DJ role, he is truly a wedding expert. We had a very pleasant time planning with him. He gave us solid advice throughout the process and could not have been more friendly and understanding. Ryan is obviously passionate about what he does, and what he did was make our wedding that much more special. We had some issues with another musician who was supposed to play prior to, during and just after our ceremony. Once I realized that person was not going to show, I asked Ryan if he would be willing to step in and he was all over it. Not only did he apologize for the stress this other gentleman caused, but he gave me tons of information and options of music that we could have played before, during and after the ceremony. Ryan went above and beyond for us and I'm confident that he would do that for every single one of his clients. He even sent us a thank you card after the wedding!
