We couldn’t be more glad we booked Ryan and Perfect Memory Events for our wedding day. When we were deciding who we wanted to be our DJ/MC for our wedding, Ryan stood out is the most genuine, enthusiastic and hardworking DJ/MC we met with. Ryan truly cares about his clients and making the day as perfect as possible, after we gave details to Ryan before our wedding, he spent countless hours learning all the little details to make our wedding day perfect, such as song details, timing, and name pronunciations, Ryan knows everything there is to know about weddings and he made our special day flow with announcements to guide the guests to the next event which helped us stay on track and make it all work. Ryan truly went above and beyond to discuss the every detail prior to the wedding to make all of our wedding dreams a reality. Along with that, Ryan showed how dynamic he can be with multiple last second changes being thrown his way, and he handled all of them extremely well and with a lot of grace. Our wedding had many unique parts that tested Ryan’s abilities to multitask and he handled it perfectly. We had a choreographed father daughter dance, photo presentation that needed the audio to line up, and a surprise Hula performance that we had no clue about. Ryan was able to handle all of these requests and allowed them each to shine to their fullest. We simply cannot recommend Ryan and Perfect Memory Events enough. If you want a DJ/MC that will be diligent, transparent, hard working, and truly care about your wedding day, Ryan is the one you need to hire.

Ryan was absolutely phenomenal to work with. He knows his stuff and it shows. He understands the ins and outs of weddings. He made sure every moment was thought out and planned for. He was supportive when we knew what we wanted and contributed insightful ideas when we didn't. He has wonderful energy and it showed in every interaction with him. On our wedding day there was so much going on and he helped with the load and ensured we could focus on enjoying our best day ever. My favorite memory of him on our wedding day was around a speech idea I had brought to him a couple days before the wedding about my friend coming out in a T-rex costume for her speech. He loved the idea, and on the day of I was expecting to give a little ad hoc intro for the speech. When he came over to ask if we were ready, I mentioned this, and to my delight, he had taken what was an ad hoc idea and made it the funniest moment of our wedding. While we were enjoying ourselves, he had talked to my friend and orchestrated a plan, on the spot, from beginning to end. He introduced her with stomping sounds and perfectly cadenced dinosaur roars. And when the speech was over, he closed her out with the classic Jurassic Park closing theme song. Ryan taking a relatively basic idea and making it 10 times better than we could have ever imagined speaks to the DJ & wedding coordinator he is. This then carried over to a wonderful time on the dance floor. The dance floor was packed the entire time and he had everyone engaged with the music and vibes the entire time. RYAN! Words cannot describe how grateful I am that we hired him. He was so detailed from the start. Our first conversation on the phone, we knew he was going to be our DJ! The day of the wedding, he coordinated with all our other vendors and he kept everything on track as well as playing all our favorite music and open to requests from guests. Hands down THE BEST!

Ryan was absolutely amazing to work with for my son’s wedding! He is truly more than just a DJ. He helped facilitate, organize and execute each aspect of the day from the ceremony processional to the final dance song to end the evening. When he found out what the bride and groom were cutting their cake with he pulled up a song so incredibly fitting for the moment. He did it in less than 5 minutes!!!! Ryan was such a joy to work with for our wedding, we truly could not recommend him enough! He did such a wonderful job walking us through how the day would play out and eased so much of the stress of wedding planning in this department. He also held to his word that his equipment was of good standard and did not falter at any point during the day. This was so important to us having been to weddings where mic’s go out during the ceremony or things like this. Ryan provided an unforgettable experience at our wedding at the crag rat hut. From start to finish, he was invested and enthusiastic about making sure everything went the way we wanted. He helped with making announcements to tell people where to go and was set up in multiple places around the venue to provide music and microphones wherever they were needed. Ryan Dj'd our wedding and we cannot recommend him enough! He was extremely helpful during the planning process and easy to get in touch with. I was very nervous at first to discuss all the ins and outs of the wedding as it was so unfamiliar to me, but Ryan walked me through it and was always there to answer my questions promptly! During the reception he was very professional yet personable and played great music to help keep the dancing going, even for someone like me who hates to dance in public! The whole night ran so smoothly and overall, we couldn't have picked anyone better to DJ our special day!

Ryan was the perfect choice to DJ our wedding! He came all the way out to Dufur, OR at the Balch Hotel, and took everything in stride! He brings such fun energy to every phone call, meeting, and finally to the big day! I knew we were in very capable hands, and he delivered. Ryan was fantastic! He really knows what he's doing. If you're getting married in the Portland/Vancouver area, I seriously recommend him. Going over pricing with him, it was clear he wasn't going to nickle and dime you. He doesn't do the "bare bones" set up with up charges for every tiny thing, he has a comprehensive package with reasonable up charges (like if a second set up is needed). The microphones came through clear as day, and he really got the volume on point for every portion of the evening. He also honored our "please play" and "don't play" lists while throwing in some surefire hits. The dancefloor was kicking off all night. He went above and beyond helping with the flow of events! My husband and I didn't have a day-of coordinator and Ryan stepped up to help us time out when to do our cake cutting, whether or not to delay the ceremony by a few minutes, when it seemed like guests were ready to put away dinner and get on the floor! My husband and I were truly able to enjoy our day, and spend some time together in the moment rather than dashing around trying to figure out what was next. If I ever host another DJ'd party, he's my first call! Thank you Ryan!

Fantastic DJ and Emceewho went above in beyond with helping give suggestions, planning, and adjusting to changes before the wedding as well as day of. Great music selection whether you know exactly what you want or just need a few time slots filled. All the guests loved our Dj!

Seriously, from the first phone call we had with Ryan we knew we would be making the right decision! Hands down the best experience we could have ever asked for. We had a meeting before our big day and went over the music, the wedding party names, and all the details! He was amazing with having music set for us from the beginning of our day to the end of our day. His artistic ability to be able to know when to fade music, start, and MCing was hands down the best. We let him choose the music for the reception and he did an awesome job! Even a special request day of for a surprise rap song from family members! Haha You will not regret this decision to use Perfect Memory Events for any kind of party!

Ryan was BY FAR the most amazing DJ I have seen at an event. He was on top of everything and was incredibly accommodating to any changes or requests we had. Here's the TLDR version: BOOK RYAN! My husband and I could not be more happy with Ryan as our wedding DJ! He was the most attentive and thoughtful vendor to work with. Our friends hired him for their wedding in July 2022 and we were impressed with how he kept the energy and flow of their reception timeline and dancing going. They also gave us a super glowing referral for him so we knew we wanted to reach out once we were ready for our own wedding planning. After the first phone call, it was a no brainer to book him. He guided us when we had questions and very genuinely cares about all the details to make the wedding music/audio and script special and great. Ryan is a total hype man. We loved working with him this summer and our guests were so pleased with how he was the master of ceremonies. A week after the wedding, we even received a handwritten thank you card from Ryan, expressing gratitude for booking him. The pleasure was all ours!

What can I say about Ryan other than he absolutely understood the assignment and killed it! From the first phone call we had with him to the conversations on the day of, Ryan always was on our side giving tips and going beyond just being a DJ. He faded songs in and out so seamlessly on the dancefloor such that there were no lulls in dancing. Highly recommend Ryan & Perfect Memory Ryan was the best! I interviewed several DJ’s and chose Ryan because he was all over the logistics - down to how speakers should be positioned so that everyone can hear best during the ceremony. I joked that he was my spirit animal as I was also super specific on things like what music I wanted played the 30 min leading into the ceremony, the time mark I wanted our entrance song to start at, and the overall timeline for the day - Ryan was super flexible, accommodating, and nailed all of it! And had an awesome dance party at the end. The best part about Ryan is how much he cares - he genuinely wants you to have the best day ever. And we did! I highly recommend Ryan.

I can absolutely promise that if you choose Ryan with Perfect Memory Events you will have an electric and unforgettable dance floor, all while providing a service to ensure that each step of your wedding flows smoothly. Before our wedding he offered us as many virtual or in-person meetings as we liked to hear about our wedding planning. He offered great advice on the timing of events for our wedding. He was very responsive and always so kind and courteous during our conversations. We decided to leave the music choice entirely up to Ryan for our wedding, and he did a wonderful job as he was able to keep our dance floor busy and our guests dancing for 3.5 hours straight! There was not a single time we didn’t have people dancing, and we owe this partly to our guests, but a lot of it to his choice in music. He also made our guests happy by accepting any and all music requests! With regards to our first dance, he was even able to assist us in our special request of remixing and combining two songs. He provided amazing advice on how to fully realize our first dance wish, and it was an absolute highlight of our wedding for us. All of the above is what a couple hopes and expects with their choice in DJ, however Ryan take his service one step further by getting to know your photographers, wedding planners, venue hosts, and more to provide a seamless wedding. We were incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and flexibility when it came to our schedule. He listened to our needs and wishes when we wanted to do certain activities, and provided excellent advice on when to start/stop other activities to allot time when needed. As a DIY bride, he was so integral in having a fun, stress-free wedding. Ryan was the most incredible DJ we could have ever asked for. Ryan was AMAZING! He was super patient with us and helped us put together our ideas. My husband and I have different tastes in music and he created a cohesive playlist for us that included everything we wanted! Ryan is incredible!! I was referred to him by our Venue, and he exceeded all of my expectations. I was able to send him our dance songs, aisle song and ~20 songs we likes to show our style and he took it away from there. Our friends and family also spoke highly about him. Very clear communication, up best personality, roll with the punches demeanor which helped us ease any worries.
