Jim is an absolute delight and made our wedding so personable. He sent us both a list of questions well in advance of our wedding so he could write a personalised speech leading up to our vows, it was so beautiful I shed a tear! We live in England and got married in Long Island so it helped how easy Jim was to contact, he always got back to my emails straight away, every brides dream! He made us feel so at ease and talked us through everything! We were really nervous about saying our vows but it was so easy with Jim as he breaks everything down really easy for you and it all flowed really well! The ceremony was the absolute favourite part of our day thanks to Jim. If you’re looking for a personal touch on your wedding day I would definitely go with him you will not regret it! We are so grateful to Jim for officiating our wedding this past Saturday! From the start, Jim was easy to work with, communicative and quickly responded to any questions that we had. Jim was extremely professional, likeable, and easy to work with. We wanted someone that was very legible and easy to hear from the guests perspective, as the past few weddings we attended the officiant or priest was very hard to understand. Jim was crystal clear and we got a lot of compliments from our wedding party and guests about him. He goes out of his way to make sure the entire ceremony is customized to what you want and personal to each couple. We loved how there was the option of how much, if any, religion was mentioned, as one of us was more religious than the other. He also introduced himself and double checked the pronouncing of both of our last names right before the ceremony which was very appreciated, especially because we did not do a first look so he came to each of us separately. We do not have any negative comments to say at all! We chose him based off of his reviews and it was worth it!

My wedding last Sunday was about as perfect of a day my wife and I could ever ask for and it all started with the amazing Officiant Mr. James Hill. He was incredible, funny, and he conveyed the love that we have for each other to perfection. Leading up to the wedding my wife & I's schedule was very complicated, and he was always good in getting in contact with us via Zoom, email. It was so easy to work with him, I'm probably going to be contacting him when we want to renew our vows. We can't thank you enough Jim!!!

Jim Hill was great to work with. We set up a preliminary meeting for him to go over everything and then we were sent a questionnaire for us to individually fill out. We sent it back to him and he put together a ceremony that was 100% about us and our relationship. He speaks so eloquently and even makes sure he doesn’t wear the same suit color as the grooms and groomsmen. And yes, he already knows to get out of the way for your first kiss picture! Jim was the most organized, professional and accommodating officiant. We needed a bit of support designing our perfect ceremony and Jim went out of his way to be supportive and provide all the options he could for us. He is a truly great choice!

I definitely appreciate how communicative Jim was. I did not have to wait hours for a response. He definitely kept the lines of communication open whenever I had a question and I had plenty of them. He was able to refer me to a wonderful photographer. Which I’m very grateful for because that is one of the most important things for the big day. I appreciate the fact that he confirmed with me the day before. And I definitely appreciate it that once he got to the venue, he was able to help me figure out how the ceremony would work best. Even as far as stepping in and speaking to the event coordinator. I contacted him with very short notice. I think he had like nine days notice and he was able to fit me in and accommodate me. The best decision we made.

From our first meeting with Jim he made us feel very comfortable and walked us through all of the details of the process. He took the time to meet with us several times before our wedding to make sure we had everything in order. We loved having Jim as our Officiant. He was so easy to work with, attentive, and made our nerves disappear on our big day. He knew exactly what we wanted and did just that. We got so many compliments on our ceremony!! We highly suggest using him!!

We had Jim officiate our wedding on 6/10/2023. He was extremely thorough and accommodating. He met with us late at night to accommodate our busy work schedules and go through all of the ceremony in's and out's with us. He had videos and examples to share with us and could accommodate a more secular versus a more religious ceremony and had options and different selections/speeches for each. He had us send him detailed answers to questions about our relationship and used them to craft his service. He mentioned the most beautiful and funny parts of our answers and did everything in such a tasteful way. He helped us to ensure we had an unplugged ceremony by saying something at the very beginning AND he moved out of the way for our first kiss photo without being asked to. He did such an amazing job and I would recommend him to any and all of our friends and family!

Jim was AMAZING! He was so helpful and easy to work with, but most importantly he did a phenomenal job. Jim has that friendly and warm presence that makes you feel welcome and comfortable, and a smooth clear speaking voice. We connected from the very first meeting. He listened to our concerns and took our suggestions for what we wanted to include and exclude in the ceremony. We were making changes right up to the last minute, but Jim took it all in stride and was happy to craft a service that really reflected who we are. He took our responses to his questionnaire about what we loved about each other and created a moving ceremony that was perfect for us. So many of our guests expressed how they loved our ceremony and how they even teared up. Jim was also super professional and didn't let things like a crying baby and me forgetting my vows derail the ceremony. He was well prepared with an extra copy. Where do I begin? Jim was so beyond incredible to work with. From our very first zoom call with him we knew he was the perfect fit for us. He was so helpful and informative throughout the whole process and made the ceremony the least stressful part of our planning. He sent us emails with information regarding where we could get our marriage license, a descriptive list of different types of wedding ceremonies we could have, as well as questionnaires for us to fill out which could help him know us better as a couple. He even setup a few more zoom calls through the time building up to the big day to just simple check in and make sure we're on the right track! Come the day of and Jim was so professional and helpful. He checked in on both me and my husband countless times before the ceremony to alleviate our stress and make sure we knew what we were doing as well as checking in with my bridal party to make sure they knew what they were doing. He even went as far as checking in with my other vendors to make sure everything was going as it should be which was just incredible to me. During the actual ceremony, Jim said everything perfectly and the ceremony went even better than we could've imagined. I even had so many of my guests come up to us after asking us who our officiant was thinking he was one of our friends or family members because he knew us so well. We are so happy with Jim as our officiant and can promise that you will be too!

Jim was more than what we asked for. From the start, he was professional, friendly and competent in what he does. In addition to those qualities, he was always flexible, but when scheduled meetings/ceremony very punctual. He helped us figure out what we wanted with the ceremony and his suggestions tailored the ceremony to our personalities. Jim was with us through typical wedding frustrations (Both brides getting COVID, late arrivals, etc.) and he helped the day go according to plan. Jim was our officiant for our wedding earlier this month and we couldn’t be happier that we went with him! My husband and I wanted a short, non religious ceremony. Jim was our officiant for our May 2021 wedding and he was great to work with! He is super friendly and it helped my husband and I be honest about what we wanted and offered helpful suggestions. He was very prepared on the day of the wedding. Made sure to touch base with both my husband and I before the ceremony and even had the copy of our vows when we forgot them. He is super funny and everyone enjoyed him and our ceremony greatly! I would highly recommend Jim, you won't be disappointed!!

We could not have been happier with our choice for wedding officiant! Jim was great from our first Zoom session, though emails and additional meetings, right up through our ceremony. As soon as we had our first session with Jim, I told my husband that I felt that Jim got us and would be great. My husband agreed and commented that he seemed like someone we would be friends with. We had our wedding at a vineyard on Long Island. We needed an officiant to do the ceremony and upon our searches one gentlemen stood out to us, James Hill. We had a zoom meeting with him and we were extremely impressed with his professionalism and how well spoken he was. Jim was absolutely amazing performing our ceremony.
