t fulfilled. The most common comment I received during and after the wedding was that Michelle seemed “out of it.” What came off as calm and confident was actually inexperience and lack of engagement.
Michelle said she had experience at the venue and with large weddings (we had 160 guests), but our day felt treated with nonchalance. Neither of the two assistants we were told would be there showed up — tasks like lighting candles and assisting with charcuterie didn’t happen, and friends and family had to step in to fill the gaps. The rehearsal was almost entirely run by our officiant.
There were also communication and coordination issues with vendors. The caterer was supposed to cut the cake, but Michelle did it herself and declined help when asked. Directions and oversight for vendors were inconsistent, which caused unnecessary stress.
This was unfortunately a learning experience we won’t get back. If you’re considering Michelle, I would recommend investing in a more experienced and reliable coordinator for your big day.

Our wedding was in Lacon, AL, but we live in Georgia, so the planning and coordination for an out-of-state wedding was very challenging. However, Michelle had all of the local knowledge of catering options, staff and even in-depth knowledge of our chosen venue that made our wedding a seamless experience.
She was there at every turn, from planning to setup to guiding us through our wedding and reception, all the way to clean-up. Her attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy the day and spend time with our guests while she handled everything. And as a bonus, she was able to recommend and secure the incredible DJ Jimmy for us!
We never felt like "just another wedding" with Michelle. She treated it as if it were her own, and brought special care and attention to every aspect of it. She blended right in with our guests as if she were simply part of our family.
