Matt was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to work with!! Between him and our Venue ( whom work together often), they worked so effortlessly together and made everything a breeze!! He gave us so many ideas and could honestly be a wedding coordinator as well!! The app he used to communicate with a preferred timeline was so easy to use! He was an absolute joy and we were so grateful to have him DJ at our wedding!! Thank you for everything Matt!!

Matt is hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. My fiance and I love to dance, and it was so important to us that our reception was SO FUN for us and our guests. Not only was that 1000% true, but Matt has mind blowing talent and is so much more than a DJ. He was so responsive and organized during the planning process. He custom mixed music for my processional, our recessional, and our first dances to ensure there were no awkwards music cuts. He provided super helpful suggestions and has so much experience, we always felt like we could just leave it up to him and it things would be perfect. He is confident, and so so approachable, and clearly SO talented. It is no wonder he is always booked. On our wedding day, Matt was prompt, organized, made our reception space look AMAZING with up lighting and his sleek, super cool set up. He doesn't do anything cheesy on the microphone, and his style is super fun. He works with your vendor team to keep the day moving; making announcements, checking in with you, and making sure everything was going how we wanted. He even brought in a projector screen to accomodate a speech from my MOH who couldn't end up being at the wedding. He went out of his way many times for us and rolled with all the punches. He was by far our most complimented part of our wedding by our guests. Not to mention, our guests danced ALL night!! He knows what he is doing; hire Matt and you're in the best hands!!!

Matt was our wedding DJ and was incredible! From our first conversation to wedding day, he was on top of absolutely everything! I had questions about if we had a harpist for our ceremony, he sent drone videos of ceremonies he played that had a harpist and detailed how it all would be set up, etc. He doesn’t upcharge for anything either. We rented a keyboard from a music place so my brother could perform at the wedding, Matt took it upon himself to call the rental place to make sure he had all the correct cords and hookups that would be needed (i obviously do not know anything about any of that!). He talked through various scenarios of how we wanted our timeline to look, what order of dances, he even edited our first dance song to a shorter version so we wouldn’t have to dance in front of everyone for 3+ minutes. His equipment is top of the line and super sleek. He played all the music we wanted and went above and beyond with everything. Honestly, the best thing you can do for your wedding day is hire Matt!!!

Most responsive, flexible and professional DJ. Helped make our night perfect. He really does it all. He kept the party alive at our wedding all night and helped herd the crowd here and there too (which was most helpful). Helped keep us on time (another hard thing to do as the couple being wed) and made sure we never needed anything. He was just totally on top of it. It’s the day after our wedding and he’s already sent us a drone video of the ceremony overlayed with a song I wrote and performed at the wedding (which I was able to keep secret from my now, WIFE). We used Matt and Emily for our DJ and photo booth service for our wedding in September. They were phenomenal! They were highly responsive when planning our wedding agenda and made us feel confident going into our big day. Matt listened to our needs and even created a custom mash-up of two songs for the father-daughter dance. Matt was a terrific emcee who kept the night flowing and the attention where it needed to be for the given moment. Emily stationed the photo booth, which was a guest favorite! Their prices were competitive, and we highly recommend their services.

What can we say about Matt other than how fantastic he was to work with. If you are looking for a great DJ, look no further. Matt is super responsive and so much fun to work with. He is not only a DJ, but he goes above and beyond with his drone videos of your first look, processional, and even did our first dance. Matt is by far one of the BEST vendors we hired on our big day. Planning a wedding can be so stressful, but Matt was very helpful, responsive, and professional. He even offered ideas to add into our wedding day to make it more fun and inclusive. On top of that, he goes above and beyond for you. We had unforeseen circumstances that caused our venue to lose power for almost 3 hours. It wasn’t the vendors fault, but Matt came to the rescue by providing his own generator and fans so that my guests had music, light, and air flow (it was almost 90 degrees on our wedding day). He also surprised us with drone footage of our first look and parts of our ceremony that included audio of our vows! He did all of this without adding on extra fees. Matt was the DJ for our wedding in July and he knocked it out of the park. Most weddings I go to, the DJ is in the corner playing the same corny wedding jams all night and maybe reads a script to intro the wedding party. Matt is on a whole different level than that. We had more than one detail meeting leading up to the wedding where Matt ran through a very detailed timeline, making us feel better that we’ve got things organized. He had us pick our favorite songs for the main parts of the wedding and start building a playlist for dancing, then he filled out the rest based on the vibe we wanted. During the wedding, he MC’d with very little guidance, engaged well with the guests, and kept the energy up all night. His audio sounded great and brought his own speakers and lights. He’s not going to be the cheapest DJ you find, but this is a case where you get what you pay for. For the help he provided before and during the wedding, the great coordination he provided during the reception, and the music expertise he had for keeping the party going, he’s worth the money!

Matt is not just a DJ (although a great DJ he is!) - he truly is the face of your event. He expertly organized the flow of our events, making sure guests always new what to do and where to go. He hosted additional games and announcements, ensured anyone making speeches had mics ready to go, and excelled in communication with me leading up to the event. If there was a 10 star option, we would choose that. We absolutely LOVED having Matt as our DJ. His professionalism was off the charts. He exudes passion for what his does and has so much creativity as to the timeline of the night and suggestions to make certain times more fun. It's hard to put into words how amazing Matt was without repeating what's already been said, but it really cannot be overstated just how INCREDIBLE he was as our wedding DJ. From our very first email exchange, it was clear that Matt was different. He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgable about ALL things wedding, truly passionate about his craft. He takes a personal, individualized interest in each wedding he attends, and we could feel his energy threaded throughout the entire playlist he curated for our big day. He truly listens deeply to his clients, and couples their music suggestions with his own expertise, and for our wedding, the result was a playlist that had almost every single one of our wedding guests out on the dance floor the entire night, from the first song after the customary first dances, to our last private bride & groom dance (we literally had to force our guests off the dance floor!). Everyone complimented, and still continues to compliment the DJ from our wedding, letting us know that it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to, and while we may be biased, we'd have to agree, and that is SOLELY due to Matt. We cannot recommend him enough!

Matt was incredible to work with!! This was honestly the easiest part of wedding planning, Matt handled all of the details and made the whole process absolutely seamless! We were given the option to have as much or as little control over the music as we wanted. We opted to pick a few songs for the reception, dinner, and dance and have Matt do the rest of the playlist based on the songs we chose. He absolutely nailed the music and it totally fit the vibe that we wanted for all the parts of the reception and dance! We met Matt at a wedding expo and from the moment he took the time to talk to us, it proved to us that there’s no wonder why Matt is The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2 years in a row, and most likely in 2023. He is the absolute best DJ we could have ever asked for. You need to book Matt on your wedding team first and plan your wedding date around his availability. He’s seriously that good. He’s an absolute pro when it comes to navigating how the big day will look, and has though of everything to prevent himself from being any disappointment. His constant check-ins to pick our songs for the day and coming up with everything we hadn’t though about is more than anyone could ask for. Our dance floor was anything but empty. His wife has a photobooth that is by far the best I've ever seen, and we have some of the best photos of the night from them. You'd be foolish not to book them both. The only thing I would like to mention is Matt can be more of a wedding planner than a DJ, which only shows that he cares about giving you the best day you can imagine. This is only a problem if you have a wedding planner who needs to be in control as Matt will ensure that it actually does go to plan. Do yourself a favor, book Matt, and be sure to have him do your and wedding parties introductions when entering the reception. Seriously the best!

Do yourself a favor and get Matt on your wedding team stat! On top of getting a great DJ, you’re getting a true pro who has seen it all and can help you navigate what you do and don’t want on your big day (often times thinking of the small things you haven’t thought of yet). And then on the day itself, he was constantly checking in with us and making sure we were prepared and taken care of. And then when all was said and done, all our guests talked about after the wedding was how much fun the dancefloor was. I could not recommend anyone more for your wedding!

Matt was the absolute best DJ we could have EVER asked for. He was honestly more of a wedding planner and was more helpful than most of the people we worked with through the venue that we had booked! Book Matt, you will not regret it! My husband and I got married in April and cannot express how much we appreciated Matt and his services. We are from out of state and Matt met with us multiple times before the wedding which helped answer any questions we had. The app he/ you use makes song selection a breeze that allows you to have control. If you need suggestions, he was also there to help! He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure our day was memorable. As examples, my husband and I wanted a song that was a bit too fast for our first dance, Matt not only slowed the song down, he gave us 3 versions that we could use, which we provided to our dance instructor before the wedding. Additionally, the song we wanted for our private last dance did not release until the day of our wedding. Matt reached out first thing to let me know that he was able to get the song. Worked with our vendors and day of coordinators, he was 10/10 the best DJ. Kept us on time, drinks flowing for us when we were busy, kept the dance floor full and even helped my son surprise us with a video slideshow. Did a drone video of our ceremony and set up a zoom video for us! He provided extra lighting and had a custom gobo made for us. I could honestly keep going on and on. Also i received all of my content from him (video and audio) within 1 week!! MATT ROCKED!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Matt went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. He provided us a detailed breakdown of what songs we needed to pick out including unity ceremony music, cake cutting music, to a last dance song. This made creating our playlist so easy, I never would have thought to pick out songs for these important moments otherwise! Matt checked in with us multiple times before our wedding to help us finalize the playlist and when we ran out of song ideas for dancing music he threw in some choices of his own that got everyone dancing. Truly can’t say enough about how great Matt is.

Matt was excellent. He goes above and beyond to get the job done. He made sure everything was ready to go and went over every details before the wedding. The day of he was running the show like a pro! We had a mixed cultural wedding and I was at first afraid of how everyone would handle my music selection but Matt knows exactly what to play or not and I’m telling you that dance floor was lit! His app vibo was easy to use and so efficient. He respected the No play list and played most of other requests from guests. You can’t go wrong with him. I cannot recommend Matt Diano enough. My wedding was New Years Eve. I've already written a review on another site but im going out of my way tonight to do another because he is just THAT good. I saw my Matron of Honor tonight for the first time since the wedding. I found out tonight that when he approached her and told her she was up next for her speech - she mentioned how nervous she was. She said he sprang into action and went on a mission to find her a shot of fireball to calm her nerves. I watched back our zoom stream last night, which Matt orchestrated due to us losing about 8 people the week of the wedding due to covid. Yes he streamed the wedding - but he walked the camera around - and gave everybody a tour of each space as we moved from ceremony, to cocktail, to reception. Matt also somehow was able to collaborate behind my back with my other Matron (who was home with covid) - and able to get a recorded speech from her and played and surprised me completely. I had no idea that this was happening. Yes - Matt is an awesome DJ. Yes - he nails his MC duties. Thats what you hire him for. But the thing with Matt is - you get more than what you pay for. You get a wedding PROFESSIONAL. Matt will keep you calm. He will become a friend. He will work his ASS off for you and jump in wherever it is needed so that you have the perfect night. Matt - your love and passion for what you do does not go unnoticed. I can't imagine my day going as smoothly as it did without you executing some of those bigger moments that I was wanting. Thank you for all you do Matt. You are a true professional and I am forever grateful that I found you and you were our DJ that night. Thank you!!!

I don’t even know where to begin with Matt. He went above and beyond in EVERY way, and my husband and I were so impressed with him. Matt was nothing short of phenomenal. I had a small micro wedding at the Maroon Bells with 25 people and initially didn’t think I needed a DJ. 3 weeks out I had a moment of panic and courtesy of a Wednesday wedding, Matt was still available! Thank god, because I can’t imagine our wedding day without him. He was professional, his communication was bar none, and when rain ruined my outdoor reception of my dreams, he turned our air b n b into the best garage house party I could have ever hoped for. He was also willing to trek all the way to Aspen and the Bells for what I thought was an EXTREMELY reasonable price. You don’t want Matt for your wedding, you need him. You will have zero regrets.

Matt Diano from performance entertainment was who we chose as our dj. First of all we would like to point out how smooth abs stress free he made our experience, from scheduled phone calls covering all of the basics and details to showing up very early to set up to the amazing photo booth he suggested which was SO WORTH IT. He listened to what we wanted and pretty much guided the night and made the ceremony and reception flow. I would suggest him 100% !!!!

You NEED to have Matt as your DJ for your wedding! My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Matt. He is thorough, personable, and super easy to communicate with. He played the perfect music for every event of the evening. He has an app that you can download that not only provides a concise timeline for your big day, but you can add songs yourself. He provides drone footage, audio recordings of your vows to yourself and to the videographer, wireless microphone set up, even offered to set up a zoom link for us. His set up in the reception space is tasteful and he provides some really cool lighting options. We added on his photo booth service and we are so glad we did! It doesn't take up much space at all but allows multiple people to use it at once. They (his wife works the photo booth--so cool and so nice!) will provide you a photo album to take home that night as well as a USB stick full of all the digital pictures. Having a good DJ was one of our top 3 things that was most important to us because we've been to several weddings where we didn't love the DJ - Matt couldn't have been more perfect! He was incredibly organized during the planning process, reminding us of things we hadn't even thought of, some completely unrelated to the music. He helped us create a fun gobo, did all the uplighting, set up microphones, live streamed/recorded the ceremony and reception for family and friends who couldn't be there - he even brought us our favorite drinks right when our ceremony ended, SO sweet. He was the perfect MC and knew our plan front to back - the whole wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Matt. If you want an affordable, organized, kind and funny DJ, Matt is your guy.

I want to start by saying how much Matt helped make our wedding this last Sunday, 8/8/21, go smoothly. Not only does he follow-up with you to make sure that your music is perfect for you, but he really went above and beyond. I know people use that phrase often, but with Matt it was different. We had some - to say the least here - problems with our wedding planner. Matt was the one who crafted our schedule, put the details together, and showed GENUINE care for us. He helped our playlist be perfect. So many guests came up to us and told us how awesome his music was. He made sure there was something for everyone. He was the absolute perfect DJ. If you want an incredible wedding, choose him. I promise you that you will be endlessly happy! AND when we forgot our phot booth pictures at the venue, he collected them and made an album for us, and overnight mailed it to us!! I cannot believe how amazing he is and how lucky we were to have him!

Matt DiAno was the best vendor we had for our wedding and exceeded our DJ expectations by far. He is professional, kind, positive, and incredibly hard working and we will be recommending him to all of our friends who are getting married! During the wedding planning, he responded to any question we had in a few minutes and was the best at communication. He goes above and beyond with everything he does, explains thoroughly, always has suggestions to get you thinking and planning and had great suggestions to help pick our other vendors. He kept us on track with wedding planning by having a few video calls scheduled and sending reminders every so often! One of my favorite things from the wedding is the audio and video Matt took. We did not have a videographer, but Matt sent us the audio recording of our ceremony as well as the speeches. He had Drone videos and pictures he took during the ceremony which are incredible! I never saw or heard the drone and he made sure to be licensed and prepared to get great video! Matt uses a fantastic music app that has categories for every wedding event you can add songs to. Each event in the app has song suggestions, or you can add songs from Spotify/Youtube. Matt was meticulous and made sure he was playing the right song version and for the right amount of time. We got so many compliments from our guests about Matt’s great MCing and the music he played at the reception! Matt kept the night moving, upbeat, and the guests in the loop about anything that was happening. During our ceremony we had two friends perform a song and Matt was so accommodating and communicative about making sure everything would run flawlessly and have great sound! Also, our officiant loved having a wireless mic and being hands free! Wedding planning was so much fun and stress free because of vendors like Matt! 12/10 stars, seriously, book him!

Matt was so instrumental in helping us pull off an amazing wedding! From day one, he helped us so much and with so many details including how to structure our event and set up our timeline. He is so professional, organized, and always going above and beyond at every opportunity. When we had to postpone due to COVID, Matt was so flexible with us. Some highlights from our day included him assisting our coordinators to adjust our timeline after our catering was running late, recording the audio for our ceremony, and brining us drinks during cocktail hour while we were busy signing our marriage license. We had an absolute blast and our guests had so much fun dancing! You will not find a better DJ/MC out there!

Matt was, to say the least, unbelievably good to work with. He responds to questions faster than you could ever reasonably expect He embraced the vibe we wanted from the start. He doesn't have an ego and lets the event be about the couple. We interviewed a bunch of DJs, many who wanted to restrict the number of songs you could explicitly request. Matt doesn't do that... He just lets you plan the event you want to have, and does everything he can to support it. He did so much more for us than just play music. He basically kept the entire event on track, helping make sure the ceremony, toasts, etc. All went perfectly as planned. He MCd the entire event and helped the entire wedding party know exactly what they were supposed to do. He did all that without being overbearing and making it about him. He went above and beyond In every respect. I wish there was other stuff we could work with him on - he was that good to work with. Literally cannot recommend a vendor more strongly.

If you are a bride on the hunt for a DJ, you can stop searching now!!! Matt was absolutely fantastic and totally exceeded my DJ expectations. A few highlights from my experience with Matt: 1. Matt has an app you can use to upload songs and playlist from Spotify/YouTube that you would like played at specific times during your ceremony and reception! (Picking out dance floor jams was the highlight of wedding planning for me!!!) 2. When I mentioned to Matt that we had not hired a videographer, he volunteered to video our ceremony! He set his iPad Pro up on a tripod and captured the entire ceremony in 4K!!! 3. Matt is incredibly professional and flexible. We had several calls in the months leading up to the big day which REALLY helped me stay on track planning-wise. When the day came and a rain storm affected our meticulously planned timeline and venue set up, Matt was on top of it! I don't have to worry about a thing! 10/10 can not recommend Matt enough!

Matt was so amazing on our special day! I felt so unorganized going into this and he really helped me set out a schedule, he gave so many options for things he could do and let me pick what our special day would look like. On the day of the wedding he was very flexible and so helpful in keeping everything flowing! I could not recommend him enough!

Matt was timely, professional, courteous to our requests, and overall just a really fun guy. He totally understood the quirks of our big day, what we liked and didn't like, and even brought us our favorite bar drinks during photos and cocktail hour! just all around a class act. the dance floor was constantly filled and everyone had such a great time. his pricing is not outrageous and i would refer him to anyone who asked! thanks so much Matt! - The Porters
