He took all of our extra ideas in stride, and executed them perfectly. And arguably the most important job of a DJ - the dance party - was AMAZING. The dance floor was packed the whole night, great music, with no awkward "yo yo yos" or weird mixing. We got so many compliments that our reception was one of the best our guests had been to. Matt had very fair pricing and was so delightful to interact with. I would choose to hire Matt 100 more times (and he is even DJing my sisters wedding next year)!! Not only was that 1000% true, but Matt has mind blowing talent and is so much more than a DJ. He was so responsive and organized during the planning process. He custom mixed music for my processional, our recessional, and our first dances to ensure there were no awkwards music cuts. He provided super helpful suggestions and has so much experience, we always felt like we could just leave it up to him and it things would be perfect. He is confident, and so so approachable, and clearly SO talented. It is no wonder he is always booked. On our wedding day, Matt was prompt, organized, made our reception space look AMAZING with up lighting and his sleek, super cool set up. He doesn't do anything cheesy on the microphone, and his style is super fun. He works with your vendor team to keep the day moving; making announcements, checking in with you, and making sure everything was going how we wanted. He even brought in a projector screen to accomodate a speech from my MOH who couldn't end up being at the wedding. He went out of his way many times for us and rolled with all the punches. He was by far our most complimented part of our wedding by our guests. Not to mention, our guests danced ALL night!! He knows what he is doing; hire Matt and you're in the best hands!!!

We rented a keyboard from a music place so my brother could perform at the wedding, Matt took it upon himself to call the rental place to make sure he had all the correct cords and hookups that would be needed (i obviously do not know anything about any of that!). He talked through various scenarios of how we wanted our timeline to look, what order of dances, he even edited our first dance song to a shorter version so we wouldn’t have to dance in front of everyone for 3+ minutes. His equipment is top of the line and super sleek. He played all the music we wanted and went above and beyond with everything. Honestly, the best thing you can do for your wedding day is hire Matt!!!

We had more than one detail meeting leading up to the wedding where Matt ran through a very detailed timeline, making us feel better that we’ve got things organized. He had us pick our favorite songs for the main parts of the wedding and start building a playlist for dancing, then he filled out the rest based on the vibe we wanted. During the wedding, he MC’d with very little guidance, engaged well with the guests, and kept the energy up all night. His audio sounded great and brought his own speakers and lights. He’s not going to be the cheapest DJ you find, but this is a case where you get what you pay for. For the help he provided before and during the wedding, the great coordination he provided during the reception, and the music expertise he had for keeping the party going, he’s worth the money!

He truly listens deeply to his clients, and couples their music suggestions with his own expertise, and for our wedding, the result was a playlist that had almost every single one of our wedding guests out on the dance floor the entire night, from the first song after the customary first dances, to our last private bride & groom dance (we literally had to force our guests off the dance floor!). Everyone complimented, and still continues to compliment the DJ from our wedding, letting us know that it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to, and while we may be biased, we'd have to agree, and that is SOLELY due to Matt. We cannot recommend him enough!

He’s seriously that good. He’s an absolute pro when it comes to navigating how the big day will look, and has though of everything to prevent himself from being any disappointment. His constant check-ins to pick our songs for the day and coming up with everything we hadn’t though about is more than anyone could ask for. Our dance floor was anything but empty. His wife has a photobooth that is by far the best I've ever seen, and we have some of the best photos of the night from them. You'd be foolish not to book them both. The only thing I would like to mention is Matt can be more of a wedding planner than a DJ, which only shows that he cares about giving you the best day you can imagine. This is only a problem if you have a wedding planner who needs to be in control as Matt will ensure that it actually does go to plan. Do yourself a favor, book Matt, and be sure to have him do your and wedding parties introductions when entering the reception. Seriously the best!

t THAT good. I saw my Matron of Honor tonight for the first time since the wedding. I found out tonight that when he approached her and told her she was up next for her speech - she mentioned how nervous she was. She said he sprang into action and went on a mission to find her a shot of fireball to calm her nerves. I watched back our zoom stream last night, which Matt orchestrated due to us losing about 8 people the week of the wedding due to covid. Yes he streamed the wedding - but he walked the camera around - and gave everybody a tour of each space as we moved from ceremony, to cocktail, to reception. Matt also somehow was able to collaborate behind my back with my other Matron (who was home with covid) - and able to get a recorded speech from her and played and surprised me completely. I had no idea that this was happening. Yes - Matt is an awesome DJ. Yes - he nails his MC duties. Thats what you hire him for. But the thing with Matt is - you get more than what you pay for. You get a wedding PROFESSIONAL. Matt will keep you calm. He will become a friend. He will work his ASS off for you and jump in wherever it is needed so that you have the perfect night. Matt - your love and passion for what you do does not go unnoticed. I can't imagine my day going as smoothly as it did without you executing some of those bigger moments that I was wanting.
