Period Pastries is a wedding cake company located in Van Nuys, CA. Owner and chief baker Dani takes immense pride in playing a pivotal role in couples’ milestone celebrations. In addition to being a talented baker, Dani is a passionate feminist, mom, and stand-up comedian who believes in giving back to her community where possible. When setting up her business a number of years ago, she decided that she would donate a portion of the company’s profits to help underprivileged women access period support. Partnering with The Period Project, this voluntary organization donates sanitary items directly to a school in India called Food for Life Vrindavan. Dani and her team at Period Pastries are skilled at creating a wide selection of wedding cakes, cookies, and cupcakes, along with macrons, pastries, and other custom-designed dessert options. Their organic baked goods are the perfect addition to any engagement party, wedding shower, or next-day celebration. The Period Pastries team begins the experience with a pre-wedding consultation to discuss your event needs and preferences in detail. From here, they can devise a package that speaks to the style of your occasion while accommodating specific dietary requirements. Each confectionery item is lovingly baked from scratch using the finest, locally sourced ingredients possible. You can select a fondant or buttercream center for your wedding cake or cupcake favors, and the list of flavors includes oreo, triple chocolate, and decadent red velvet, among others. In addition, Dani is happy to schedule a private tasting session to help ease the planning process. She can also provide efficient delivery, setup, and tear-down services on the big day, allowing you and your beloved to relax and enjoy the celebrations.
