I hired (Alex) Personal Cuisine Catering simply because of the name initially, but learned quickly it was the right decision after communicating. Alex and his team were professional in every aspect. He was punctual and more importantly the dining for me and my guests were nothing short of a 5 star experience. We will hire him for every event in the future.

Alex and his team are very professional, knowledgeable and supportive. He was available throughout the planning process and the buffet style food was amazing!! All of the guests were very complimentary of the food. Would recommend this company to anyone!!!!

There aren't enough stars above to give Alex Jensen and the team at Personal Cuisine Catering what they truly deserve. Alex met with me throughout the entire planning process and assured us that he would bring the absolute best to the table for our wedding and he did just that plus some. From the carving station, to the custom cupcakes, to the amazing bartenders.... Alex's network of resources combined brought a package together that allowed us to just enjoy our day and not have to worry about a single detail. The team was super professional at our event, the food was amazing, but the most important thing was that Alex took personal care of us and our needs. We had such a great connection with his style. He and his team also gifted us the most special gift at the end of the evening as well that is something we will cherish forever. We were married at the Summer House Venue in downtown Fernandina so that intimate setting also let us really see the fine tuned details that Alex puts into his customer's experience. The planning process for weddings can be really cumbersome and hard. Catering by far was the hardest at first when we were trying to use other catering companies until we found Alex. Personal Cuisine is ALL you need for any event...large, small, or event a private dinner in your home. His team does it all. He's simply the BEST.

Alex and his staff catered our wedding in January of 2019. The food was one of the most important parts that my husband and I were very specific about. We have friends in the business and asked around for the best chef to deliver exactly what we wanted. Every single one of them referred Alex with Personal Cuisine. When we contacted him, he was incredibly professional and excited to create our vision. Alex came into our home and personally made each dish and gave options of types of meat to use. We had prime beef filets, shrimp and grits (which I am a huge snob when it comes to my grits lol) green beans and Caesar salad. Alex prepared the most flavorful food I had ever tasted in my life! His expertise and passion for his craft was insane!! We had a buffet style dinner and his staff was incredibly professional and a delight for all our guests! My husband and I had to cut costs in certain areas so we could focus more on the food and of course the band (we love live music). We could not afford to have regular plates and silverware so we had to go with plastic. Alex assisted with helping us find the most appropriate and cost efficient option. Our guests were able to cut their steaks with PLASTIC silverware like butter! We all were blown away!!!! The one part I did not plan well was the amount of cups we had for our guests. It was wine and beer only. We ran out of cups half way through the reception!!! I clearly did not do MY part in planning properly for that. Yet, Alex and his staff recognized the issue in advance and Alex sent a staff member to the store to get more cups! Alex found the right time to inform me of the issue but already had the solution!! I didn’t have to stress at all!!! They saved the wedding BIG TIME because of their ability to solve the issue before it became a pretty big problem! We are so thankful to our friends for referring Personal Cuisine! Our guests still bring up how amazing the food was and that they could cut the filets with plastic knives! If you are looking for catering of any kind, Alex at Personal Cuisine is by far the best in Fernandina Beach!!!
