After doing a lot of research (probably too much!), I decided to go with Petal Blush Beauty for my wedding hair and make-up and I could not have made a better choice! Kyla was extremely responsive over email and answered all of my questions. Amber and Felicia were professional, extremely talented, and super friendly. During the trial, they both worked with me to figure out exactly what look I wanted, which I really appreciated as someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup or do too much with my hair. On the day of the wedding, they were receptive to feedback, able to easily mimic looks from pinterest, and made for a calm and fun morning together. Most importantly, we finished on time – something my photographer definitely appreciated. If you are going back and forth on whether to do airbrush or not, I would say it was definitely worth it and helped create the natural look I know many are going for. I am so happy I found Petal Blush Beauty for my wedding. Early on in the planning process they were very responsive and easy to get a hold of unlike several other vendors I had reached out to. We had to postpone our 2020 wedding due to covid and Petal Blush allowed me to change my date without any issues, no additional fees. On the day of my wedding, Felicia was great! She did make up for 9 of us including my bridesmaids, MOB and MOG and everyone was so happy with how their makeup came out. My make up was done by 12pm as I needed to be ready early for first look photos and bridal party photos prior to our ceremony. It still looked great for the ceremony at 6pm and really lasted until the night was over at 2am! I would highly recommend Petal Blush Beauty for anyone looking to have beauty, natural make up on their wedding day!

Kyla and Felicia are amazing! They have done my hair/make up in 3 past weddings that I was a bridesmaid in, and I couldn't not have them do my hair and make up for my own wedding (and it was out of state!) They were originally supposed to work with us for our 2020 wedding date, and I was so happy to hear they were available for our postponed 2021 date! Kyla is so easy to communicate with (especially during COVID) and get in touch with and super efficient on the wedding day. They had myself, 8 bridesmaids and 2 moms and were quick, but also did exactly how we all wanted and came out perfect! I loved working with them and can't thank them enough. I even brought some baby's breath flowers for the girls and Kyla perfectly placed that in the girls hair however/how much they wanted. Thank you so much again!

Petal Blush Beauty were the beauty team for our wedding this summer in Newport, and everybody came out beautifully! During my trial they listened carefully and understood the hair and makeup looks I was going for, and then were flexible and accommodating when I changed my mind about the look I wanted. They nailed it the day of my wedding - hair and makeup were JUST what I wanted and we were all ready with plenty of time. We all have different coloring too (brunette, reddish, blonde) and each person's look was perfect for them. Highly recommended!!

Kyla was so great to work with for my wedding this past September! I am super particular about my hair and Kyla worked with me on 2 different trials and was so sweet about the changes I wanted to make! Kyla and her team are amazing! Everyone's hair and makeup turned out better than we could have dreamed of. Kyla was even able to accommodate a few more girls with hair and makeup last minute which was amazing. We had 3 flower girls who needed their flower crowns put on and Kyla was able to quickly help with that. I would highly recommend her for any occasion !

I used Petal Blush Beauty for my wedding this past June. They were INCREDIBLE. I had myself and 9 other people that wanted hair and make-up done and they handled it with such grace. My sister had a bad experience with hair and make up at another wedding and was so nervous about getting her hair and make up done and almost didn’t do it, but she was so beyond pleased with her results and loved the way her hair and make up looked. They took time to make sure every detail was perfect. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending them to my friends getting married in the area.

Petal Blush was amazing to work with! They were extremely receptive to ideas I had (as well as my bridesmaids ideas) for how they wanted to look for the wedding, and making that idea come true. We also did a complete run through of the day-of look and then talked later about how to improve or change it (if necessary). Kyla, Amber and Felicia were incredible to work with on our wedding day. From the beginning, Kyla was prompt to answer any (and my many) questions regarding services, timelines and day of plans. At my trial, Amber and Felicia listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel like the most beautiful woman. Having a large bridal party, 8 bridesmaids, 3 juniors, a MOB and Grandmother of the Bride and a 12pm finish time, Kyla, Amber and Felicia arrived promptly at 7am and got to work. They were able to do all our of services and give each girl what they were looking for quickly and beautifully. We were done with time to spare! Their quality of product does not make you look "overdone" they use HD airbrush makeup that stays all day and just perfectly enhances your features. Our hair stayed all day and night and everyone commented on how beautiful everyone looked. Being the bride, I felt incredibly natural and effortless and the first words my husband said when he saw me were "wow you look stunning." On top of all this, Petal Blush beauty is affordable, accommodating by taking cash or credit card and willing to travel and start early on your wedding day. Petal Blush Beauty team was fantastic! They were able to customize any hairstyle for my bridesmaids. The makeup was flawless! The airbrush and fake eyelashes lasted the whole night. The team was prompt at arriving to the venue and was easy going to be around while we were getting ready. All seven of my bridesmaids, mom, mother- in -law and junior bridesmaids loved the way their hair and makeup came out. I would highly recommended Petal Blush Beauty!

Petal Blush Beauty team are the BEST! I hired them to glam up myself, 8 bridesmaids, MOG, and MOB. Having been in 7 weddings myself, I have had my fair share of experiences with awful glam teams. They are NOT of them! I pride myself in being able to do my makeup/hair myself so I am always hesitant. You need not to worry with them! Some of the major positives I had with them. 1) 11 people for hair and makeup. We started at 9 am and everyone was ready to go by 1:30 pm. NO 6am start times! 2) They were so nice! Some of my bridesmaids can be tough to deal with but they managed all the crazy personalities and hair/makeup requests with ease! 3) They take cards for payment! Although not a huge deal, having to go to an atm is just another “to-do” you don’t want to deal with. 4) I got married in July so it was sunny and hot! Everyone’s hair and makeup lasted all day! My curls looked great at 9 pm that night! 5) They were professional and clean! No need to clean up after them when they left! I honestly can’t think of any negatives or things I would change. I am a bridesmaid for a wedding in a couple of months and we demanded the bride to hire Petal Blush because it’s a no brainer!

Oh WOW! The ladies from Petal Blush Beauty were AMAZING for my recent wedding! They did my hair and makeup, as well as my eight bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my hair and makeup!! They just absolutely killed it - I felt gorgeous all day and the waves in my hair lasted straight into the minimoon my husband and I took after the wedding. Each one of us asked for a completely different hair and makeup look, and I think the biggest differentiator (aside from sheer talent) is that the ladies from Petal Blush actually listened to each one of us and were able to achieve exactly what we were hoping for, rather than doing the same look on everyone. I had a destination wedding, however Kyla provided many services up until my wedding day. I had several trials with Kyla and she did everything to ensure I had a clear vision of how my hair would look on my wedding day. She was very patient, offered great advice, and made sure I was happy! We finalized my hair style and Kyla provided me pictures to show the stylist in Aruba. In addition to the trials, Kyla did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower and did my hair for my final fitting. Petal Blush Beauty was professional throughout the entire process and very quick to respond to my inquiries. Felicia is amazing!!! She did our makeup for a wedding where I was a bridesmaid and did an amazing job, so when it came to my wedding there was zero question of who was going to do my makeup! She came to my family home and was ready to go! She was focused and finished myself, my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law and aunt. We all looked stunning, the airbrush stayed on for 12+ hours and looked natural, clean and fabulous! The girls did a wonderful job on my hair and make-up for my wedding day. A few months prior I went for a trial which also went wonderfully and they did exactly what we planned for the big day. My bridesmaids were also impressed with their hair and make-up for my wedding. They were also very accommodating for when any of my bridesmaids wanted anything touched up/fixed - they were happy to make changes right in the moment! I highly recommend them - they came right to the bridal suite at our hotel which was very convenient.

Kyla and Felicia are absolutely amazing. I first met them when they did my friends wedding last June, and immediately knew I had to have them for my wedding. My wedding was on June 17th, and I had 9 bridesmaids! They are such pros and did everyone's hair and make up in record time. It was even really muggy and hot in the suite, the a/c wasn't working well and they handled it so well even with hot curling irons and discomfort. my wedding party and moms looked absolutely amazing. When my oldest daughter was married, she had two wedding ceremonies due to geographical locations of the two families. Kyla and her team did the hair and makeup for both ceremonies. Since one ceremony was quite a distance away, the hair and makeup for that one was done without a trial. The bride(my daughter) and the wedding party were very pleased with the results. Kyla and her team also did the hair and makeup for the ceremony which was held in RI. Again, they did an excellent job. The hair and makeup latest for the whole day and night. Kyla's team is very professional and dedicated. We were very pleased with their work and would highly recommend Petal Blush Beauty.

Working with Kyla made planning two wedding very easy. Kyla is my sister who put my mind at ease while I was planning a wedding in England (where I was moving to) and also one in RI (where I was from). She traveled to England with all her necessities, airbrush and all. Being my sister, she already knew my style, but also listened to what I wanted. She timed everything perfectly so there wasn’t any stress when it came to hair or make up the morning of both weddings. She also did my bridal parties hair without any trial because of geographical limitations and they were all very happy. Kyla and her team exceeded all of my expectations. They made me feel more beautiful than I could have imagined — just absolutely killing it in the beauty department! Kyla (hair) and Felicia (makeup) are truly talented. They blew me away by following my mood board inspiration so closely, and hitting exactly what I wanted on the first try! I took a risk not doing a second hair trial with the addition of hair extensions (Kyla's suggestion), but we clearly didn’t need it. When she showed me my fuller updo in the mirror, I was overjoyed.
