Let's just start with one of the first questions I was asked was "WHERE WAS THAT CAKE FROM?!" I found Cristina after seeing her on the Food Network baking shows. She was the firs...
t place we visited for a tasting, and the last. We sampled a bunch of a varieties, and it was SO difficult to pick one. After meeting with her, we emailed back and forth, and she had us come pick up one more sample of a combination of flavors she thought we'd like, and we fell in love. It was easily the most incredible cake I have ever had. I still think about it! As far as design, we went the simpler route, and it was stunning. I even changed a design detail about two weeks before, and Cristina was so helpful. I cannot thank Cristina and Petal Dust Cakery enough!
Cristina brought our cake dreams to life !
My husband and I had a vision for multiple cakes. We didn't want a traditional style cake that is 6-7 tiers, all white, or typical wedd...
ing cake. We wanted crazy flavors, multiple colors and a fun theme to go with our decor and style. We started with a cake tasting and landed on - cinnamon toast crunch, chocolate raspberry truffle and red velvet with cream cheese filling!
Cristina designed 3 cakes for us - drew them up, custom designs and unique flavors for each. The cakes became a show piece at the wedding and the center of the dessert table. One cake represented the bride, one represented the groom and the large cake was a joint for us. Cristina hand made everything down to the sugar flowers on the cake! They came out outstanding.
Lastly, she was able to create other unique items to curate the dessert table for us - homemade macaroons, chocolate covered pretzels and rock candy. Everything was navy blue, maroon and accented with gold leafing to match our decor.
Hands down, would recommend Cristina to bring this vision to life for any couple !
INCREDIBLE!!!! Cristina makes the most stunning and delicious cakes that will WOW your guests. Her designs are so creative and are executed with perfection. Each detail is planned ...
with love and impeccable style. The taste is next level: rich and luxurious, yet light and airy. Mouthwatering!
And she is so EASY to work with and so dependable! We worked together to create stunning Seat Assignments: a single, gold macaron wrapped in a clear box, gold ribbon and name tag, was placed at each table setting. My guests were so delighted by the presentation and taste. We had so many IG posts of it, there was not even one left over, and my guests still can't stop talking about it.
When you are wedding planning, you want to work with great people and you want the outcome to make your guests happy. I was beyond thrilled with my decision to work with Cristina! Thank you!
