ers. When I first reached out, Carole gave me a call and listened to what kind of flowers I wanted and asked me to send her some pictures. When we met for the first time, she had sample bouquets and centerpieces made for me to look at based on the pictures I provided!!! I've talked to many friends who have gotten married and none of them said they had an experience like that. She was always available to talk by phone, meet in person, and answered my emails quickly. On the day of the wedding, she was punctual and was willing to do a boatload of driving for my event! Being located in Libertyville, she drove to Glen Ellyn to deliver my bouquets/corsages/boutonnieres , drove to my reception to set up my tables, and then drove to Chicago to set up my pew flowers at the church. She reached out to my church and reception hall ahead of time to make sure everything went off without a hitch. I am so happy I went with Carole and Petal Peddlers and recommend them 100%!

Carole showed up with an assistant about 3 hours before the ceremony to set up and ended up staying for 4-5 hours, making sure everything looked perfect. I couldn't be more grateful for the work she did :)

They were always quick to respond throughout the planning process, were flexible with using some of my own centerpiece items, and accommodated me when I remembered I needed some extra flowers at the last minute. She was at the church, venue, and hotel setting up and delivering which weren't even close to eachother. There are always things in a wedding that don't go as planned, but Petal Peddlers' work was not one of them. It was all Perfect!

She handled delivery, and even called me the day of our wedding to let me know that she had taken extra care to protect our flowers from the heat (since it was 97 deg at the end of September, yuck), and gave me some tips on how to keep them fresh throughout the long day. She was incredibly responsive when I needed to make some changes to our order, and scheduled a phone call with me a week or so before the wedding to confirm all the final details. Later, she made up sample bridal bouquets and table centerpieces, and skyped with me to show me what they looked like (I was an out-of-state bride). Her attention to detail was an amazing relief. I knew I never had to follow up with her to make sure she brought the correct number of hair flowers, corsages, etc. to the wedding, because she always remembered everything to the smallest detail. When I realized that all my requests were over our budget for flowers, she worked with me to get everything under budget. Then, she surprised me on our wedding day and brought the centerpieces for the cocktail tables that I couldn't afford, for free! If you want a highly competent, highly skilled florist that will exceed all your expectations, pick Carole.

She made me 2 mock bouquets because the first one wasn't the arrangement that I was hoping for although it had been exactly what I requested. After the first bouquet I knew that I wanted to work with her because the quality of the flowers and her expertise was amazing! It is reassuring working with Carole because she is the one you meet with and she is also the one who creates the bouquets. (It's nice-no middle man, no confusion. She was also the one who dropped the flowers off the day of the wedding) I received many compliments on the bouquets and would definitely recommend her skills :) I did not comment on the "Value" question part of the survey because I think it totally depends on what season and what is available....I will say that if you tell her your budget she can tell you if it is possible or offer other suggestions that you may like. She moved her store in March from Vernon Hills to Libertyville. She is now located in Red Top Plaza south of the Jewel. Check her out!

Above and beyond what I expected our altar arrangements to look like and our ladies' bouquets and centerpieces were just beautiful. The day of the wedding she was there at the time that she said she would be and had everything set to perfection. She even included an extra boutonniere for my husband in case his got smashed from all the hugging throughout the evening.

The presentation of the centerpieces, bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, etc were flawless. I could not have been happier with how they looked. Carole also went out of her way to make sure the delivery and set up on the day went by without a hitch.
