orked with us on our vision and did a beautiful job. The arrangements were stunning and prices were very reasonable. We had such a great experience with them. Wedding planning can be stressful but they made the process so easy. We would highly recommend them!
Lou's work is absolutely beautiful! We talked at length about the types of flowers and color schemes. He was very patient and helpful, showing me flowers and accents and making so...
many helpful recommendations. I asked for more organic looking arrangements and bouquets and they turned out just as I had hoped. He was at the venue even earlier than I had asked and made sure to check in with me before he left. I will be going to him for all my floral needs from now on!
I got married at Fox Hill Inn 3 weeks ago, and when I walked in there the night of the wedding, I was so blown away with Michelle and Lou’s work. She made my vision come to life. T...
he event coordinator even said that the way the inn was decorated with the flower arrangement colors, the hydrangeas really brought out the beauty of the venue. It was so elegant! I can’t thank Michelle and Lou enough, especially with their patience because I did change my mind quite a bit, but they were always nice and informative. The price was very affordable. No doubt will I be using them again for any events. Job well done!
Highly Recommended!!!
Michelle and Lou did a phenomenal job creating the most beautiful flower arrangements for my daughter’s wedding. Not once did I feel any pressure to increase...
my budget or add to the quantity of items I requested. They stayed within my budget, yet presented us with bouquets teeming with fresh flowers. There were no “filler” flowers present. Every anemone, amaranth, thistle, English rose, etc… was meticulously positioned to accent each other perfectly. The colors and hues of the flowers melded so well together that each flower was able to shine up close individually and yet still look spectacular from a distance. The hairpieces constructed to match the bouquets were incredible as well. Each floral comb was a showpiece and made every lady wearing one feel like a princess. The bride was is awe of how beautiful the flowers all were. No detail was ignored. Even the delivery was early and in perfect timing for the hairstylist to be able to professionally style the bridal party’s hair with the floral combs. Lou was also able to brilliantly solve what I referred to my “large black hole of despair” problem. The reception hall has a huge fireplace that remains unlit in the summer. I could not get past the idea of having such a large black abyss stationed behind the sweetheart table. Although I was the only person concerned with this, Michelle and Lou did not dismiss me. We brainstormed many ideas together, and not just florist related ideas. They were gracious enough to offer suggestions that actually did not involve their services at all. Lou even took a special trip to investigate the situation first hand. After assessing the situation, Lou came up with a stunningly creative solution that embraced the fireplace. The photographs look amazing thanks to his diligence and care. I can not thank Michelle and Lou enough for their kindness and generosity.

ors and budget. On the day of our wedding, the flowers were delivered on time (actually a little early) which meant one less thing to stress about. They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!
Michelle and her team made a vision come to life. I loved walking around my venue before everyone came in and seeing everything we talked about in front of me plus some. The specia...
l touches they added were just perfect. The combination of flowers and colors was simply gorgeous! The prices are so fantastic and Michelle will work with you to have your perfect vision on your wedding day. From the bouquets to the center pieces I was just amazed. As the night went on I kept noticing something new and saying wow look how beautiful that is. Even the flowers on our cake were just perfect! Michelle has a great eye for what she does and I am so happy we found Petal Perfection for our wedding.
Phenomenal job. Met with Lou six months before our wedding and he was patient, easy to work with and more than willing to assist, offered great suggestions, and most of all had the...
best price from the shopping around we did. Walked into the flower shop with the idea that he was one of 2 choices we would consider for our flowers and left without even bothering to go to the other place because he took so much time and effort into making it work with us. If you are looking for value, this is it. I provided a picture of my ideal bouquet and it was very on par. Everyone complimented the flowers they turned out gorgeous.
During consultation, Lou was creative and listened to all my ideas. When the flowers arrived, they were beautiful and just as the consult had outlined, but the colors were not as I...
imagined. Michelle offered to re-make all the bridesmaid bouquets for us to match my vision, at no extra cost. This attention to detail and making the bride happy were above and beyond what one could expect from a florist. I would recommend them to anyone!
Sorry I'm so slow writing this review, but I did want to make sure I gave credit to Lou for the good job he did on my daughter's wedding. Lou (the designer at Petal Perfection) wa...
s a breath of fresh air after the first estimate I got (the other estimate couldn't be nailed down on exact flowers or how to save money). Lou got my daughter's opinion of what she wanted then showed us pictures to make sure we were on the same page. Then he gave us ideas of ways we could tweak the arrangements a little if we wanted to save money. He was so straight forward and professional.
He captured my daughter's tastes beautifully and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Lou for wedding flowers, it worked out great, and no hitches or stress.
I could not have been more pleased with the work done by Petal Perfection and Convections.
I will admit that flowers were not something I was overly concerned about for my weddin...
g. I wanted flowers that went with my color scheme - and I didn't want to spend a fortune.
Lou was able to find perfect flowers to go with my eggplant BM dresses and worked with my to keep the bridal party flowers, centerpieces, and ceremony flowers UNDER my budget.
The service was phenomenal. All flowers arrived on time - and my bouquet was even hand delivered to me in the suite that I got ready in.
If you are getting married in the area, I highly recommend using Petal Perfection and Confections (the candy is AMAZING, too!)
Lou is back! For years Lou was a florist in town and was dearly missed for 10 years while he tried a different career in Florida. Well, thank goodness in 2012 he came back to CT! I...
