When I met with Carlos, I gave him a budget and tried to explain what I was looking for. Him and Raffi then proceeded to show me past events, and pinterest boards to get a better understanding. I left that day feeling confident and happy that I would be able to check off an item on my to do list. The next day, Rachel got back to me with a quote. The quote was detailed with photos and a break down. No hidden fees, no surprises. A few weeks prior to my wedding, I went in to see a mock up of and I fought back tears because it was exactly what I was looking for. However, on my wedding day, they beyond exceeded our expectations. Every thing was beyond gorgeous. Despite being Art Basel weekend, where the traffic was insane, they arrived on time and went straight to work. What this team put together was breathtaking. I have always loved their work, but it felt surreal knowing it was our event. The center pieces, the gazebo, the sweetheart table... every detail was complimented. They definitely love seeing their customers happy and it shows. You can tell they take pride in every event, and in every design. I HIGHLY recommend using Petal Productions. lanning my wedding immediately after my quincenera so by the time I got engaged, I had all the vendors I wanted. It was just a matter of booking them. Petals WAS the only option for me. When I scheduled my first meeting, I was paired with Brittany P., she was great. She thought outside the box, our energies worked well together (or so I thought), etc. etc. She was very responsive via email (initially). I was IN LOVE with petal productions- from their customer service, facility, and their work. I couldn't say enough good things to my fiance about this place. Once I received the first proposal, asked for revision of ideas, and of course to bring down the budget (which was current ~19K) is when everything went down hill. Mind you, my budget wasn't cheap--we were still looking at a 13K production. Fast forward countless of email exchanges- I finally requested she jump on the phone with me to discuss changes, she did not, never even responded to those questions. She then got very snippy and requested the non refundable deposit to move forward with answering of my emails/questions. I sent over the mandatory deposit for a sample to be shceduled, which I sent her immediately after she requested. She NEVER booked my sample!!! As a matter of fact, I had to follow up with her 2 days before the scheduled sample. To my surprise, she didn't have me in the books. So at this point she "squeezed me in", aka put me in a meeting room not the actual room samples are held. We are in the sample--I was completely and utterly dissappointed. Everything that was discussed was not carried out in this sample. I didn't want hydrangeas that had the green hue, guess what I got.... Her response: "that's how they all come" which is lie because I got WHITE hydrangeas in my wedding from the other florist. During the whole sample, I kept being reminded during the whole time it was due to my budget, my budget of 13 THOUSAND DOLLARS! My planner was on facetime and Brittany was beyond rude to her when she told me "this is nothing you wanted. This wasnt what was discussed." She literally got into an argument with my planner over Facetime. She made the sample extremely uncomfortable and left me distressed 3 months before my wedding. She said we'd schedule another sample to get it right but never reached out! My husband (fiance at the time) reached out to Rafi and he was kind enough to refund us 50% of the deposit only because the sample was already done and he had to cover those flowers--fair enough! I appreciate his kindness, openness and understanding. Unfortunately, sometimes employees tarnish a well known and established business' reputation which is truly unfortunate. Rafi has a fantastic reputation and he truly is a class act. The only thing the rep did for me was force me to find my vendor who recreated my vision for about ~5K less than what I was going to originally pay, so for that THANK YOU!

The 4 starts instead of 5 is because during delivery they were working while we were doing the wedding rehearsal and the delivery team was being a bit rude about us being in the way. But in the end the wedding planner worked everything out with them and all went perfectly. Thank you Brittany for working your magic and making our ceremony look gorgeous.

I can’t tell you how many compliments we have received, so many of our guests saying it was the best wedding weekend they had ever been to, and we agree we feel our wedding was nothing short of epic thanks to your beautiful creations on both Friday and Saturday. You literally created everything I had ever imagined and added even more creative touches (the floral ring and wall were to die for). We wish we could do it all over again so that we could work with you again, maybe baby shower in the future? Haha In all seriousness though, we know who to call for our next party and we can’t thank you enough! I probably bombarded her with inspiration pictures and Pinterest, but she got the idea very quickly and worked with me and my Mom to bring it to life. Brittany also handled logistics with other vendors and last minute changes flawlessly. Choosing a florist is probably the third biggest wedding choice after the venue and the dress. The quality of the work was the deciding factor for us and we LOVE what Petal produced for us!

biggest disappointment was that my chuppah was not AT ALL what I had wanted or discussed with them. I had a vision that I discussed with them and ended up with something completely like I didn't want. I in fact asked them on the day of the wedding before the ceremony why the chuppah looked that and that it was wrong and they basically told me there was nothing they could do to fix it at that point. It distracted me a bit leading up the ceremony. The chuppah was so important to me and I look back at my photos were all my family portraits were taken and it just upsets me everytime. I will forever have that memory. They also put a runner on the floor when I specifically told them I didnt want it. They also did a sloppy job on my donut wall which they overcharged me for. I was supposed to have it decorated and they literally put 3 leaf branches on a shelf and charged me $100. There was essentially no decorations at all and it was an afterthought that they didnt seem to care how it looked. I was also disappointed in my dog's collar also, instead of putting flowers all around, they again did the minimum and put it only on the front portion of the collar with minimal flowers. When I tried to talk to them after the wedding about what happened, I was basically told there was nothing they could so thats it. I mean when you mess up on something like the chuppah I think there need to be more than sorry and nothing we can do. I had heard such positive things about Petal Productions and was very disappointed in how these items were handled.

We had round tables with a mix of high and low floral center pieces plus rectangular tables with the most beautiful, jaw dropping, bridge floral center pieces with hanging candles! They also created a stunning escort card display that all my guests are still talking about and decorated our Catholic church beautifully. Raffi is very knowledgeable and also gives you advice when you are undecided on certain things as well as what is not worth spending money on. He also did some of our rentals like chairs, linens, chargers which made it very easy for us. We looked around a few different florists and they were by far the best priced for the level of the work they do. My mother and I are both very picky and we loved everything they did. I will certainly use them again for future events!

He was always flexible and worked with me to stay within my budget. My favorite part was walking though the large warehouse picking every vase, candelabra, candle, mirror, etc. When I walked into the room on the night of my wedding for our ballroom reveal, my husband I’s jaws literally dropped! The florals and decor made the once empty looming ballroom look better than I could have ever imagined! They nailed my Romantic Elegance wishes and every detailed was placed immaculately! Petal Productions truly went above and beyond! My guests are still raving about how beautiful the flowers and room looked. Don’t look any further... I am confident to say that Petal is the number 1 floral vendor! You won’t regret it.

They created a stunning Chuppah, bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and just about every incredible floral detail you can think of. Flowers for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Everything was so beautiful it was like a dream come to life. The floral design was absolutely gorgeous it really made our wedding come to life. Our florals looked lovely, and my bouquet was PERFECT. I could not have been happier with how it turned out - absolutely perfection. Our ceremony arch was gorgeous, as were all the arrangements on the tables, bar, etc. I was impressed with how quickly the team reacted the day-of the wedding when I didn't love my bridesmaids' bouquets. They immediately went to work to make them more to my liking, which was really sweet. Petal also did our lighting for our reception and after party, both of which looked great. Ultimately, we were very happy!

I requested that my bridesmaid's bouquets be similar... but instead they were white roses (fine) with these dark purple (but looked like black) flowers that I hated... I didn't see them until the day of, when it would have been too late to change. My white rose bouquet was horribly expensive ($200) and it was wilted when I got it. Not awesome. So, not terrible overall - loved the big pieces they put together, but not wowed with the bouquets, which was a little disappointing. Also, my husband and his groomsmen's boutonnieres were that dark (black) flower as well... he was so annoyed he asked for a switch to a white flower, which they were thankfully able to do. Overall, extraordinarily expensive - so/so rating.

he ceremony design they did at my church, the draping was falling before I even walked down the aisle and the flowers were placed facing inward instead of facing the aisle but I am willing to let that slide for the GORGEOUS work they did in the ballroom where we held our reception. One of the table designs they had never done before so we were testing it out which made us very nervous but it looked SO good. We also did a hanging installation over the dance floor of flowers and lights and it looked magical. The room was gorgeous and everyone could not stop talking about beautiful it looked.

The aesthetic of our wedding relied heavily on florals and furniture and Michelle worked tirelessly with me to ensure everything was perfect. We had a unique vision that Michelle and Paul truly realized and gave us everything we asked for and more. I know that our guests were simply blown away by the creative and unusual arrangements we chose and I am so happy Petal Productions was on my team. Several of my other vendors were challenging to work with and Michelle is adept at charming anyone and getting exactly what is needed to achieve the right look. I am deeply indebted to them for creating such a breathtaking space to celebrate our marriage. I interviewed a number of floral designers and I know that we got the over-the-top bang we wanted with Petal. Their work is remarkable!

Michelle Shapiro was such a pleasure to work with - she was very receptive to any changes or ideas that I had and was always very prompt to respond to my many emails. She gave excellent suggestions and helped contribute to making my vision come to life in the best possible way. I was especially speechless when we got our sneak peak of the reception!!!
