Karla at Petalos did the flowers for my daughter's wedding 3 weeks ago at The Army and Navy Club. They were stunning! She is wonderful to work with - so responsive and so very go...
od at what she does. Her flowers made the already beautiful venue so much more beautiful. Do not hesitate to work with her. You will be so glad you did.
We loved PETALOS DC's work. I know nothing about flowers, so we trusted her to do her thing, and she really delivered! Beautiful, classic, exactly what we wanted.
The flowers were perfect, but my favorite thing about Karla is that I told her my budget and she stayed within it!

shed product looked just like what we had planned. Somehow she was able to deliver personal flowers (bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, flower girl basket & petals, and even added an adorable headband for the flower girl), a gorgeous arch for the ceremony, and a very romantic tablescape of candles & bud vases- all for a very reasonable cost.
During the planning it was faster to get in touch with her over text rather than email. On the day of the wedding there were no problems with the drop off and setup, and she also collected the bud vases which helped immensely to decrease the cleanup effort. Karla was very flexible with me incorporating some of my own DIY into the decoration, where some other florists might have had an issue with it. The whole day went smoothly, and the flowers were truly so beautiful and contributed to the happy springtime mood of the wedding. I would absolutely work with Karla again.
I can't say enough about the incredible work done by Karla and the PETALOS team did for our wedding! From the moment we met Karla, we were blown away by her creativity, attention t...
o detail, and passion for what she does.
Karla took our vision and turned it into a breathtaking reality. The floral arrangements for our wedding were nothing short of stunning. My bouquet, the centerpieces, and decorative elements throughout the day were true works of art. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were, including the gorgeous Chuppah we stood under, it was stunning.
What truly sets Karla and her team apart is their dedication to making your day special. She worked closely with us, offering expert advice and suggestions while always respecting our preferences. She was incredibly patient and accommodating, even when there were some last-minute changes that needed to happen.
The quality of the flowers was exceptional, and they stayed fresh throughout the entire event. Karla also worked seamlessly with our other vendors, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch.
On top of her incredible talent and professionalism, Karla is one of the most kind and enthusiastic people we've had the pleasure of working with. She truly cares about her clients and her craft.
If you want a wedding florist who will exceed your expectations and bring your floral dreams to life, look no further than PETALOS. We are forever grateful for the beauty Karla and her team added to our special day, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in the DMV area!
Thank you, Karla, for making our wedding day absolutely magical!

I recommend them to the fullest!!
Karla is, hands down, the best in the business. In planning for my wedding, I performed a lot of vetting and research of many florists in the DMV by reviewing their website portf...
olios, Instagrams, and online reviews. What drew my to Karla was her apparent skill, artistry, and ability to get the freshest, most beautiful, luscious blooms. In working with her, I was blown away by her flexibility, communication, and design. She instantly understood my vision, and whenever I changed my mind about something, she was always patient, accommodating, and delivered exactly what I had in mind. Communicating with Karla was extremely easy. I sent inspiration images to Karla via email and she drafted a vision board, which she emailed me back. I always felt that from Day 1, Karla would go above and beyond for her clients. I never had a doubt because she's such a genuine person. On my wedding day, she took my breath away with the most beautiful arrangements. Everything that she created - my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, ceremony flowers, cocktail hour flowers, and reception decor - were absolutely breathtaking. So many people at my wedding commented on the flowers and how stunning they were! I look back at my wedding photos and fall in love with the floral design all over again. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding florist. She's a true gem and I would 110% recommend her to my friends and family and all prospective brides.
Karla was wonderful to work with and executed my/her vision for our wedding perfectly. She took feedback and perfected it into the most wonderful decor.
Can't recommend enough!

mes as I wanted, without issue. She was always open to work with me to develop my final vision. The day of, her flowers transformed our pergola, and candles and greenery really illuminated our reception area. I've heard horror stories about some flowers arriving that were withered, etc, and nothing I saw looked even remotely close to this. She went above and beyond to add details to areas that may not have even been included in our original proposal, and worked with my mom to help make sure that everything was ready to go prior to the ceremony. Originally, I did not envision my wedding florals as being as high on my priority list as some of the other elements of the day, but that perspective quickly changed. I am so thankful for Petalos DC as her work brought the ceremony and reception spaces to life.
Our wedding was at a vineyard and the reception was in a barn. It easily could have looked a little too rustic/basic—but the flowers and decorations from Petalos completely amplifi...

The floral arrangements, table settings, and archway were beautiful at our recent DC micro-wedding. The price wasn't cheap but we certainly got what we paid for, top quality. Rec...
