I searched out Lori and her company after attending an event at Wingate on John’s Island. I was so impressed by the design and color palate as well as the quality of flowers in her pieces! She has become my Designer/ Florist of choice in the Charleston area. I have and will continue to use and recommend her services as she hit the mark on exactly what I envisioned . Words cannot express how stunning her work was understanding my thoughts without duplicating an event and making it completely ours!

Where do I even begin with the exceptional talent that is Lori and her amazing team with Petaloso? I have enlisted in Lori's services for several of my private events over the years and she always goes above and beyond. Lori is a true artist; as a talented creative would never do, she doesn't mimic inspiration photos but rather creates innovative, one-of-a-kind floral masterpieces. Lori's reputation speaks for itself and she is the ONLY floral artist I will enlist in. Not only is she a true talent but she is sweet, personable and SO fun to work with. 10/10 recommend!! Thank you for continuing to WOW myself and my guests for so many years.

From our experience it seems that Lori prefers to work with brides who have a very open floral design instead of brides with very specific ideas or requests. Please note that Lori’s contract also states that any complaints must be sent within 24hours of the event. I cannot express in words how disappointed and hurt I am in the work Lori produced for our wedding . Lori and I met and worked through countless images to create a plan for our wedding. We spent 70k on flowers with Lori and the work she produced was nothing close to what we asked for. The floral installations and arrangements she produced were not cohesive or consistent. In many cases what we requested may have even cost significantly less then what Lori charged and produced. Lori did say she wouldn’t copy another persons design but use our photos as inspiration. It seemed like Lori took our inspiration photo and went the complete opposite direct. When we asked for a garland table runner of greenery that went to the floor with flowers sparsely sprinkled in she producers a dense floral runner with hardly any greenery that did not extend to floor. The next day on IG a florist who was not Lori, who I’d never met, never spoken with nor shared any images related to the design posted she was the lead florist on the most expensive installation of our wedding. On the Tuesday after our wedding we reached out to Lori to verify that she was informed of our complaints by our planners. I informed our planners of my disappointment that night and the next morning but they did not relay that message to Lori. When Lori replied to our email she informed us that any complaints from here on out were outside of her contract and that our planners had not relayed our message. What sucks is the floral arrangements Lori produced for our rehearsal dinner we’re perfect. When I walked into the space I felt relieved knowing she really did understand what I was asking for. Which is why I was so surprised when I walked into the venue on our wedding day and saw nothing like what I was expecting. I am more than happy to provide photos of what we sent as inspiration and what Lori produced.

My daughter and I made many very good decisions when planning her wedding in Charleston for this past November, but our very best decision was to hire Lori DeNicola and her team at Petaloso as our florist. Every aspect exceeded my expectations more than I can articulate. It was such a delight to work with Lori. She has a vast amount of experience and exudes confidence and professionalism while being completely relatable and down to earth. We gave her very little direction, but she definitely heard what was important to us and clearly understood our broad stroke vision. I honestly had no concrete idea of how it would be translated, but I instantly had complete trust in Lori to create something we'd love and never forget. Not only were we not disappointed, we were totally blown away by the end result. It was all most incredibly lovely and unequivocally magical. Her creativity and attention to detail is amazing and nothing she does is just like everything you've seen before other places. We had many compliments after the wedding about many aspects of it, but by far the most were about the flowers and overall floral decor. I was, and always will be, very proud to tell everyone that Petaloso gets all of the credit. Bravo, Lori!

Petaloso, and more specifically Lori DeNicola, is one of the most talented and creative people I know! Petaloso made all of our floral dreams come true for the entire wedding weekend. Lori and her team are extremely detail oriented and created the most incredible floral designs for my bridal luncheon, our rehearsal dinner + welcome party, and the wedding ceremony + reception. We went into our design meeting with not many specific requests or ideas on what we wanted and let Lori take the reins on creating our floral design for the wedding. I couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful than what she created for us - from the custom trees she created for the bar area and under the tent, to the insanely beautiful bouquet I had, to every single floral arrangement throughout the tent and the floral halo above the dance floor - everything was incredible! I knew as soon as we began the wedding planning process that I absolutely wanted Petaloso to create our florals for the wedding day, and it was one of the best decisions we made! I truly cannot recommend Lori and her team at Petaloso enough - amazing people and amazingly creative talents.

We are so happy we hired We Are Petaloso as our florist. The flowers were more amazing than I could have dreamed — it was like being in a fairytale when we entered the reception room. We also received so many compliments on the flowers from our family and friends including some people who worked as wedding florists for many years. The communication was also great and everyone we interacted with was super friendly.

Lori and her team did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. From our very first meeting with Lori to all of our emails throughout the planning process, Lori was the BEST to work with. She listened to our ideas and let us know all of the possibilities - but her final product just really blew us away. Lori and her team made all of my floral dreams come true!!! The flower arch and fireplace installations they did were truly jaw dropping. They also showed up on time and helped with a few other last minute prep items / saved the day. They are INCREDIBLE!

PHENOMENAL!!!!!! I found Petaloso through my wedding planners, Pure Luxe Bride, and thank goodness I did. My wedding flowers for my ceremony and reception were beyond amazing and I wish I could have taken every signal one of them home. Sadly, I had a destination weeding in Charleston, SC and couldn't take them with me! From the moment my wedding planners and I came up with the concept and the décor of the ceremony and reception, they knew I had to work with Lori and the entire Petaloso team. Lori came up with flowers and finalized the design for all the floral décor along side my wedding planners and the final results were completely stunning. I was blown away that this was my wedding and every guest in attendance couldn't get over how beautiful the flowers were. Every guest that I have run into after my wedding have continued to talk me about how gorgeous our flowers were! I truly can't say enough good things about the entire experience of working with Petaloso. Lori and her team were so amazing from Day 1. I would say they made my vision come to life but it was far beyond my dreams! Their work is absolutely unbelievably STUNNING! Everyone at our wedding was dying over the flowers. I just could not get over how far above and beyond they went to make the day beautiful, I am still speechless over it. Seriously I might be biased but they were the most beautiful florals that I have ever seen. Even my husband who was like "why spend money on flowers" said it was sooo worth it after our wedding and THAT is saying something. Just beyond perfect, I really do not even have enough words to say on how happy we were! So sweet and incredibly talented.

Our wedding planner found Petaloso, and coordinated with this team to quickly order flowers for our micro-wedding (which was planned in 3 weeks!). I wasn't sure what the florals would look like, more of just the color scheme but I was SO pleased with how the flowers turned out. Everything was stunning and we even carried flowers back to our hotel with us! I would have liked to been informed that one of the vases we weren't allowed to keep, but thankfully we found a vase and were able to take home those flowers! We did end up keeping all of our flowers and absolutely cherished them. THANK YOU!

Lori, the creative and lovely owner of Petaloso flowered our big day! We crafted the PERFECT design which incorporated all things I wanted: ethereal, billowy, and lush florals throughout our entire wedding! Not only was I truly blown away by Lori's work on our wedding day, but I was just in awe of how graceful and kind she was throughout the planning process (even when our original design had to be altered due to changes that had to be made in an effort to reduce Covid-risks). She was flexible, kind, and incredibly engaged throughout our entire process and she collaborated seamlessly with all of our vendors (even those she hadn't worked with prior) to create our vision. We along with our parents and ALL of our guests are still swooning over our florals. Truly the end result of all the planning was something out of a dream--sheer perfection! We are SO blessed to have been a couple that had their dream wedding floral'd by Petaloso!

Lori did an unbelievable job with our wedding. One guest said, “I will talk about these arrangements for years.” I thought I knew what I wanted and Lori came up with something above and beyond what I had imagined. Lori is incredibly sweet, kind and talented! She is the definition of a true artist! As an out-of-town bride, and someone who had very little knowledge of flowers, we met with Lori to go over our vision for our day. I only needed to share simply descriptions such as natural, airy, timeless, and asymmetrical, and she knew exactly what I was describing. During our meeting, she took the time to get to know my husband and myself. Not knowing exactly which flowers we wanted, we leaned on Lori for inspiration, and she took our vision beyond expectations! She has a true passion for what she does, and is so knowledgeable. She was so much fun to work with and she got along fabulously with our other vendors, especially our wedding planners. She provided flowers for our cake as well as petals for the flower girl. She worked with our budget, and while we were not going to spare a cost when it came to florals, she did not take advantage of that. She was always willing to work with what made us comfortable, suggesting in season flowers and installations that made sense to our layout. On the day of our wedding, we were completely blown away, and so were our guests! Our wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful without Lori's touch! The bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, sweetheart table, and flowers for the wedding cake were jaw dropping! People are still talking about our floral arrangements! We highly recommend Lori for her creativity, personal touch, knowledge, integrity, and vision! You will not be disappointed!

Our planners, Francesca and Blake, of Pure Luxe Bride, introduced us to Lori and we’re so eternally grateful that they did! We explained our vision and the color schemes we liked to her, and she immediately got it! We were told that Lori loved to build installations and be unique and different- exactly what we wanted! Words simply can NOT describe how absolutely talented the Petaloso team is! Lori and her team went beyond expectations for my wedding at the hotel Bennett. My guests could not stop talking about all the amazing floral accents at our reception. They used only the most beautiful flowers for each piece. I felt I did not have to give them much direction for them to make beautiful pieces; from the center pieces at each table, to accents at our photo-both. Do not look any further for a florist! Lori was amazing to work with and created the most beautiful flowers and centerpieces for our wedding. We loved working with Lori and could not have been happier with all of the flowers and decorating! We knew we wouldn’t be able to see anything before to reception so we needed someone we could really trust to understand and pull off our vision and Lori did it perfectly! We were so impressed when we walked in and saw everything for the first time. The flowers were so beautiful! My bouquet was absolutely stunning and the tablescape was amazing. I cannot rave enough about Petaloso!! Lori made all of my wildest floral dreams come true and beyond! It's hard to express how perfect and totally in love I was with everything Petaloso did... You know those bouquet and floral tablescape Pinterest pictures that make you think they must be too good to be true to actually happen in real life? Lori puts Pinterest to shame! I am someone who doesn't know much about types/names of flowers. All I knew was that I had a certain 'look' and color palette in my head. Despite not having a super specific plan in mind, from the first phone conversation and me trying to articulate my ideas, Lori just got me. She asked all the right questions and together, helped me make my initial all-over-the-place vision come to life! I wish I could've had a few more hours at my wedding just so I could've sat there and admired how STUNNING all the floral pieces throughout our venue looked. She is a TRUE artist and talent. Not only that, but she is just such a kind, sweet, and wonderful person in general. I wish I could post pictures on this review to show what an amazing job Lori and her team did. Please trust me when I say whether it's bouquets and bouts, or statement pieces like the floating flowers and giant floral backdrop frame she did for us, Petaloso is simply the best. Of all the vendors you may have to stress over selecting throughout the engagement process, don't let your florist be one of them. Petaloso was the easiest choice I made :)

From the minute I met Lori of Petaloso, I knew that I had chosen the most capable and creative florist for our wedding! She immediately took my vision for our wedding design and ran with it, offering pictures, suggestions, and asking questions to really get down to what I did and didn’t like. Even in the months leading up to our wedding, she would consistently update my paperwork to include comments I had made to make sure that everything was just how I envisioned it.
