My husband, John & I, were married in September of 2018 & Nancy guided the most beautiful process of picking arrangements & decorating our venue, The Hill. John & I knew we wanted arrangements that our family & guests could have to remember our day & the memories created. We chose dried flowers for the table settings (that Nancy patiently helped us create), mini arrangements for our cocktail hour tables, dried Hops for the guys ( That Nancy worked tirelessly to perfect & find), garland on our stairs in the venue (an added touch that Nancy suggested) and fresh floral bouquets for the girls & a floral crown for the flower girl. Our vision was created only with the help & knowledge from Nancy. She visited our venue with us, offered creative ideas, worked with our budget, drove all over to deliver & set-up. When my bouquet was delivered, I called Nancy & cried. Everything was magically beautiful, completely representative of my husband & I- simple, elegant, & full of love. We love Nancy for all she did to help us, her patience & for her beautiful gift of floral design & craftsmanship. Thank you, Nancy... We love Petals & Moss!

Nancy is an absolute godsend. I had dreams of dark and moody dried florals to go with my "ode to stick season" late fall wedding. Turned down by every florist I thought my vision was insane. And in came Nancy like the saint she is. She is the best to work with. She invited us to our shop and had us point out things we liked. We sent her photos with a vague idea of what we want d(min you, this was before dried florals started pooping up everywhere so we sent live flowers to give her a "feel"). And she KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. We were blown away on our wedding day. We loved her designs so much! We ended up shipping my bouquet and a table scape back. She even shipped us one of out hanging orbs afterwards which now hangs above our bed! Her shop is gorgeous. Her personality infallible. Just working with her will put you at ease. She is s approachable. She's willing to go beyond and beyond without even batting an eyelash. For instance, I didn't want my girls to carry anything and they weren't having it. Day of, she threw together 5 bouquets that were ON POINT. Hire Nancy. You 100000000000% will not regret it. I wish I still lived in New York so I could visit her. She feels like an old friend.

I have the privilege of being the owners niece! I live in N.C. and our wedding was June 4th in TX. She worked hard from NY with the local florists to find the best options for my wedding! She worked the entire weekend on prepping the flowers for our Monday wedding. When she went for a walk around the neighborhood she found beautiful Texas plants (or weeds haha) that went perfect with our rustic theme! They were GREAT fillers and it was GREAT idea! She has an AMAZING eye and was able to make my confusing vision a reality for my big day. If you want a passionate florist who creates BEAUTIFUL floral pieces, you must choose her!

Nancy created absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements for our wedding. I was really set on using dried and preserved flowers and Nancy is an expert in both. The flowers were a complete hit and at the end of the night many of our guests went home with one the 80+ arrangements she created. Nancy also constructed a Chuppah that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of our venue.

This review is incredibly overdue. My husband & I got married back in April 2017 in Long Island City, Queens. Five months out from our wedding we still hadn't nailed down a flower resource. I was looking for something very specific & vendors I had spoken with previously didn't seem to fully grasp my vision. Luckily, one night we passed by this quaint shop called the Marquet in Williamsburg which had a beautiful flower display in the window. Rustic, simple, refreshing...I knew we had stumbled upon something special. It was there that we discovered Petals & Moss, the flower resource for our wedding. Nancy (owner of P&M) is a flower whisperer that has an incredible gift & love for her craft. She was an amazing partner to work with throughout the hectic DIY wedding planning process - thoughtful, trustworthy & immensely patient. She even invited us to her home & flower studio in the Hudson Valley to preview her vision for our wedding. She took every flower dream I had (which was a tall order of fresh & dried flowers) & made it come to life in a way I could never have expected. She was & remains the best decision of our wedding planning process. If you're undecided or haven't even started thinking wedding flowers yet, please let this review guide you down the right path.
