Sharon was an absolute joy to work with! She made our wedding so special! We met with her for about an hour, several months before our wedding, to discuss ceremony details. She was very thorough and insightful. She brought a binder full of poems, prayers and readings for us to look through and pick out what we liked. She really worked with us to come up with the perfect ceremony. It was exactly our style, and included religious and non-religious elements. We received many compliments from guests on Sharon and our vows. She was on-time and prepared. Sharon is the sweetest and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to marry us. I would highly recommend her!!
Sharon did a great job of understanding our relationship and making sure she incorporated special things about us.
We dreamed our officiant would be personal and intimate and would want to know about us, but for $400, she met with us once for an hour at Whole Foods where she had us read through 20 different scripts at a Whole Foods table to "pick our ceremony". We had to remind her over and over again, in the spurious emails we exchanged, that we were already married and didn't need to provide a state marriage license or witnesses to sign afterward - She did not know us from any other couple that paid her too much. And further, inconsiderate to the wedding party that day, she shows up 5 minutes before the ceremony start to my ready room, which is chaos getting everyone buttoned up to walk down the aisle, and there asks for the remaining $200 cash before she will start the ceremony. Not that we didn't have the budget or intention to pay her, but she could have helped us that crazy day by settling the bill before the wedding start, like every other Utah vendor we worked with. Sharon is overpriced for the minimal heart and interaction she brought to our wedding experience - but we needed an officiant to talk in front of our ceremony, and she read her script we chose for her well enough. She knows exactly how to milk a bride and groom for as little effort as needed to make that cash.
