Petals by Design

We just had our daughter's wedding at Isleworth CC and used Petals by Design as our florist. I knew the impact flowers would have on the room decor and after our initial meeting with Tracy, we knew everything would be taken care of and done perfectly. She seemed to read our minds and knew exactly what we were wanting. When we walked into the ballroom, they were absolutely beautiful. The flowers enhanced that beautiful room and I can't wait for the photographer's pictures. We received so many compliments on the flowers and it was so enjoyable to work with Tracy. We had one meeting and then a few email exchanges, but she knew what we wanted and she delivered just that! The flowers were gorgeous and my daughter loved them. Thank you so much for making her special day even more beautiful and we are happy to highly recommend her to anyone looking for flowers for their special event. Her price was very reasonable, but the best part was our confidence in her and her staff and we were over the top happy with the arrangements!

They are so flexible and sssooo affordable! They can work with almost any budget and have beautiful flowers, ideas and book of displays. I know 3 other brides that have used them and all have been satisfied as well. Two more of my friends are getting married and I told them they had to check out this florist before deciding on one.

I worked directly with Tracy from Petals by Design and she was fantastic. She helped me select all the flowers for my wedding party and also provided the hydrangeas for my centerpieces. By using variations of about 5 different flowers we achieved a beautiful, cohesive look while still allowing each group (bridesmaids, groomsmen, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, bride, groom) to stand out. I received tons of compliments on my bouquet and am now planning to preserve it! Great value, too!!

I had a few ideas in mind when I first met with Tracy but didn't have anything that was for sure. She took my ideas and ran with them. They even provided the candlebras for the reception! The roses in my bouquet were so beautiful! I got a lot of compliments on them! I also loved how they added a little bit of 'bling' to my bouquet and my sister's. It's also so helpful that they come the day of the wedding and set up everything and then come back that night and take everything down. You don't have to worry about a thing!

The only part of my flower order that I was happy about was the boutinieres that were mini calla lillies. They were beautiful, but it isn't that hard to get those right. Otherwise, my bouquets and my bridesmaid bouquets were not what I wanted. I said repeatedly that I wanted a modest, SMALL bouquet and they just decided to not listen and take artistic license to make it big because that is obviously what I really wanted and had no idea. It wasn't what I wanted and my bouquet was pretty but it wasn't the one I WANTED! I also sent over many pictures of flush looking rounded bouquets and they had all the flowers sticking up at different levels. Another direct request that was ignored was my request to have SMALL corsages because my Grandmother is 91 and can't handle when it pulls on her dress. I HAVE NEVER SEEN CORSAGES SO BIG IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! They were the two biggest roses I have literally ever seen. They were barbaric in how big they were. I just don't understand how I can repeatedly ask for things and be as specific as possible and still not get the results I wanted? Plus, the calla lillies I paid $9 EACH for were slightly browned and wilting on the edges. The centerpieces were pretty but again there was miscommunication because I left our meeting and thought I was getting orchids for $22 each and I got Calla Lillies for $25. It was on the contract, but with all the details I never caught it. I honestly walked into my reception and was surprised by the lillies? In this case only it was a good surprise.

Sandy was super nice and helpful as we were planning our wedding. She worked with me and my husband and truly listened to what we were looking for with our flowers and made our vision become a reality. We even had some last minute changes with our order and she was totally accommodating with that. I would recommend Petals to everyone.

I had looked into a local florist for my wedding that was recommended to me - my jaw hit the floor when I received the price quote! Then I looked closer to my venue and came across Petals by Design. The price was exactly what I hoped for - very affordable! The center pieces, bouquets, and other decorative pieces were absolutely beautiful!

Highly recommended!! They walked in with my bouquet and almost cried with joy! It was just so beautiful! And then when I walked into my reception and saw the centerpieces, my jaw dropped! I could not believe how amazing they looked! Truly everything I dreamed of! Amazing vendors!!!

We had Petals do our arrangements, corsages and bouts for our ceremomy and they we gorgeous!

I have to admit, I was completely clueless about what kind of flowers I wanted for my wedding. My hair stylist recommended Petals, so I made an appointmet. I sheepishly admitted that I hadn't done much flower research and didn't really know what I wanted. I expected frustration, what I got was complete understanding. She asked the following questions: What are your colors? What other colors do you like? What kinds of flowers tend to catch your eye (and gave me a book to look through, since obviously I didn't know any flower names), what feel do you want your wedding to have? Do you like bright flashy colors or pale colors? What season is your wedding in? We didn't really even discuss price but she came up with suggestions that were well within our very modest budget. When I said that I liked orchids, she suggested orchids that were "wallet friendly." I get so many compliments on my flowers, almost more than I get for the dress :) The questions that she asked gave her an idea of me and my fiances personalities and she was able to make a recommendation that was exactly what I wanted my flowers to look like, I just didn't know it!
