Petals, Ink was amazing. They totally captured what we were hoping for. The florals were gorgeous and even smelled amazing.

Gretchen and her team were amazing! Their florals for our wedding was absolute perfection and at a really affordable cost! I didn't give Gretchen a ton of specifics, but what she came up with was exactly what I imagined. It was so, so beautiful and looked like something straight from my Pinterest inspo board. Gretchen and her team were also extremely flexible with rescheduling due to the pandemic! I can't recommend Petals, Ink enough!

Beautiful flowers for my wedding day! Gretchen was easy to work with and did not charge us any extra fees after we had to change our wedding date twice due to covid. Very reasonable pricing. I gave her Pinterest pictures and she actually went in a bit of a different direction but they turned out even better!

Phenomenal flowers for my daughter’s wedding! Colors of the flowers and choice of flowers were perfection, just what she asked for! Couldn’t have asked for more.

Gretchen was incredible, very quick to communicate with, and very prompt! I lived a few hours away and was able to plan everything with her virtually no problem. When we were in the planning stages, I sent her my pinterest board and she built my entire floral plan perfectly. She made my vision come alive! My daughter and her husband chose a greenery theme with farmhouse tables adorned with greenery running the length of each table - with some ivory flowers interspersed with the greenery. Also had greenery dressing up the chandeliers and greenery at the wedding arch. Gretchen and her team provided exactly what the bride and groom wanted - perfection! The room looked beautiful and elegant. The team arrived on time and set up everything in very efficiently. The bridal bouquets were also gorgeous - so simple but elegant - and exactly what was desired. And Gretchen was delightful to deal with throughout the planning process.

So much love for Gretchen and the Petals team! We hired them for our January 2020 wedding and they did such an incredible job filling the venue with lush greenery and beautiful, interesting blooms. All of the arrangements - bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages - had stunning wintery muted colors and varied textures, a perfect fit for the overall aesthetic of the venue/decor. The planning process was so easy, and Gretchen is so friendly. Can't say enough wonderful things about Petals. :)

I can't say enough good things about this company. Gretchen and my planner Vintage&Lace executed a vision I didn't even know I had. All I knew I wanted was purples and textures, and the flowers that came were so unbelievably beautiful, there was a plum flower with beautiful petals I've never even seen before. Gretchen was flexible and responsible with the (many) changes in quantities and arrangements I requested throughout the planning, including an elevated centerpiece for the head table about 4 weeks before the wedding which required custom stands. And when I asked for a sample bouquet for bridal portraits 2 days before the wedding, no problem! And when I realized somehow I forgot to mention I added a bridesmaid and we needed an extra bouquet 3 hours before the wedding, no sweat! I am so grateful for this wonderful florist who went above and beyond to make my wedding so beautiful, seamless, and exactly what my mind's eye wanted, even if I couldn't articulate exactly what I was thinking. Thank you thank you!

Look no further! Gretchen is the sweetest, most amazing florist in town! I told her how much I wanted to spend, and let her know that I was pretty ignorant when it came to flowers, and she totally led me in the right direction. She played so well off of our naturally green venue, and we got so many compliments on all of the ceremony flowers and table centerpieces. I highly recommend Petals. ink for all your wedding floral needs!

Gretchen did an incredible job! From the very beginning, she totally understood my vision, and she was very helpful with brining that visions to life while also helping me fit into my budget. The day of my wedding the florals exceeding my expectations, everything was beautiful and lush and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Working with Gretchen was amazing! We loved getting the opportunity to meet with her at her farm prior to the wedding. She is very knowledgeable and helped us hone in on our vision. I am so glad I found Gretchen from Petals, ink! She was so easy to work with and made my vision into reality. Out of all the vendors, finding a florist was one of the most difficult endeavors. There were a few who would not work with my budget and turned me away, or requested that I meet in-person across town (during rush hour) which I could not do because of my busy schedule. Gretchen however was very professional and worked with my budget while also giving me the most beautiful flowers that guests marveled over. She also helped me online by sending photos for reference that were in-line with the inspirational images I sent her. Highly recommend!

Gretchen and her team were such a dream to work with!! She completely understood the vibe we were going for. Our wedding could not have been more beautiful and it was all thanks to Petals Ink. They were super flexible with our rain plan, which we ended up using. They created the most AMAZING floral backdrop for us inside the venue. My bouquet was beyond gorgeous, as were the floral hair combs they made for me and my bridesmaids to wear. Gretchen even offered to drop them off at the hair salon so our stylists could put them in for us. We received SO MANY compliments on the flowers from our guests, but even more importantly it was exactly what we had always pictured for our wedding and it made the day feel even more perfect to be surrounded by so much beauty. One final note - It also feels pretty great to support a local flower farm and a female business owner! :D

Gorgeous! I absolutely loved all the flowers Gretchen and crew made for our wedding. They nailed the aesthetic I was looking for, and made it so bright and wonderful. It was also incredibly windy the day of our wedding, so the flower curtains were a bit tricky to install. But they just made it work! It was so nice to know that they were making everything look beautiful while I was galavanting around finalizing other details. Petals, ink was the best!

I do not have the words to describe how obsessed I was and still am with the floral arrangements Gretchen, Lennie, and her team put together. Truly the most beautiful things I have ever seen!!!! They put together the most perfect arrangements and really listened to what I liked and didn't like. She captured the environment perfectly and everyone could not stop commenting on how lovely and beautiful the flowers were. I would hire them a million times if I could!!

The flowers Lennie, Gretchen, and the Petals Ink team created for us were amazingly gorgeous! I received so many compliments from guests and friends who saw pictures afterward about our bouquets and boutonnieres. Flowers were the least important part of our ceremony and reception due to budget constraints, and the team was super accommodating in working with us! Originally Gretchen created a floral quote for bouquets, boutonnieres, and small centerpieces, but it was still out of budget. When I mentioned my concern, she redid the quote with just bouquets and boutonnieres and also offered to let me pick up the flowers myself, which did away with a good chunk of a delivery fee. I really appreciated feeling comfortable discussing my floral budget with this team and having them work with me without judgment. I was nervous about not providing more input and consultation in the bouquets (part of their full-service options), but Gretchen totally nailed the "wildflower, sunset-tones, just-picked flowers" vibe that I told her about. My husband, not a flowers guy, loved his boutonniere, which had a succulent too! He has already dried it to preserve it. Thank you Petals Ink! Check out their flower truck too (@grassdaleatx).

It's easy to get overwhelmed when choosing a florist for your wedding in Austin. Two important things are that your florist is talented and great at communicating. I fell so deeply in love with the florals Petals, Ink. created for our wedding day. I sent Gretchen a few photos and descriptions of what I wanted, and she nailed it 110%! The flowers were a huge hit at my wedding. I received SO many compliments about my bouquet and arrangements. The flowers were so beautiful and rich in color and quality. My wedding ceremony was outdoors in 100+ heat, and the flowers survived. I highly recommend every bride out there get at least a quote from Petals, Ink. Be honest about your budget, and Gretchen and her team will be able to work with you. Like most brides, I was on a tight budget, but I felt florals were one of the most important things I had to invest in to make my wedding unique and memorable. Brides, treat yourself to the best in Austin! You won't be disappointed.

I will save you some wedding (or other event) planning time by saying, "Just use Petals Ink!" Gretchen and the crew handled the floral at my daughter's large wedding west of Austin and it could NOT have been more lovely. We had many, many comments on the flowers. She is a true artist! She also supplied arrangements for the Rehearsal Dinner, a charming set of "wildflowers" that were perfect for a BBQ sit-down. ENJOY working with Petals, Ink. You will be so happy with the results.

Petals, ink. did a fantastic job on my May wedding. Gretchen and Lennie were easy and enjoyable to work with, and totally made my vision come to life. The arbor we got married under was absolutely stunning, I am in love with my bouquet, the centerpieces on the tables were gorgeous, and all of the little details fell perfectly into place. They were so accommodating with my somewhat obscure requests, even managing to incorporate some native wildflowers into the bouquets like I asked. I cannot express how grateful I am for their wonderful work and how happy I am that we used them for our Austin wedding!

I wish I could give Gretchen and Lennie a million more stars! As Admin Extraordinaire Lennie was on top of everything and made the planning process as smooth as could be. Gretchen's ethos about flowers made me fall in love at our first interview. Having as eco-friendly a wedding as possible without compromising on aesthetics was important to me and Gretchen's organic, garden to vase approach was exactly what I wanted to hear from a florist. In addition to aligning with my ethics Gretchen brought to live the vision I could barely articulate. Everything was perfect and better than I could have imagined. So many guests complemented me on the centerpieces! And our photographer's assistant was in love with my bouquet. I myself was not expecting to be as in love with my bouquet, it was stunning and I didn't want to let it go! Gretchen also helped accommodate my request to use my mother's cathedral length veil as the cover for our chuppah (the chuppah was rented from Petals Ink., was decorated beautifully and was perfect!). I highly recommend going with Petals, Ink. for your wedding. Seriously! You will get something unique and perfect for you, not something just churned out by one of those bigger, chain florists.

We used Petals Ink for our October 2016 wedding. We worked directly with Gretchen & Lennie and they were super professional and made communication simple. We were coming in from out of town to Austin for our wedding and we only needed to provide a few inspiration images for them to take the reigns and make our vision come to life. The flowers exceeded our expectation and were absolutely stunning! We receive so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful all the flowers were. It was such a pleasure to work with Petals Ink!

Gretchen captured the exact playful, relaxed, colorful and Southwestern vibe we were going for with our wedding. I had shown her some pictures I liked and she managed to design florals that captured the essence of what I had shown her. She used succulent, cactuses, dried flowers and fresh flowers in wonderful combinations. Everything from the flowers she prepared for my hair, to the corsages, boutonnieres, to the table arrangements were so perfect. I have gotten compliments upon compliments for the flowers in my hair, especially. I never thought I would be the kind of person who dried out their wedding bouquet, but my bouquet was so stunning that I couldn't imagine throwing it away - so it is hanging in our closet as I write this. We also rented the chuppah Gretchen has on hand. it is a beautiful wooden chuppah and she used greenery in a simple, asymmetrical arrangement. Note that the chuppah is not very large and it was a bit crowded for our parents and officiant to stand under - just something to keep in mind if you plan to incorporate that standing arrangement into your ceremony.

Petals, ink recently did the florals for my wedding and I cannot say enough positive things about them! Gretchen and Lennie were incredible throughout the planning process, providing suggestions and tips and always being willing to accommodate requests and changes. They were extremely responsive. They took a few thoughts I had about florals and made them into a TRULY beautiful reality!

The floral for our wedding could not have been more perfect. From our first meeting with the Petals, ink team at their adorable studio, we knew we were in good hands... they just "got" our vision and exceeded our expectations in every way. She provided us with ways to "reuse" pieces throughout the night instead of suggesting arrangements we really didn't need... which was rare in all of our meetings with various vendors along the way. The flowers for our wedding were better than I ever imagined! I knew I wanted Petals, ink for our wedding after seeing photos, and I'm so glad we went with them. They were already booked for delivery on our date, so I skipped on centerpieces to keep the order smaller to have a groomsmen pick up the order of bouquets and boutineers. They had us fill out a detailed questionnaire that I really felt gave us exactly what we were looking for. Gretchen and Lennie were so nice and easy to work with. Everyone raved about the flowers and they looked even better in the photos! They are the real deal and worth ever penny.

Absolutely loved our flowers and Gretchen was wonderful! She made a chuppah for us exactly as I'd envisioned and didn't overcharge for it. Overall her prices were incredibly reasonable for what she delivered. Everything was lovely- the chuppah, the flowers in the aisle, the table arrangements, our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, sweetheart table garland, my floral crown- EVERYTHING! Gretchen is a floral guru. I was not super sure what I wanted for centerpieces, but I sent her a couple of pictures that I liked. The centerpieces were SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Her vision for my flowers turned out more than I could have ever expected. I wanted a white/cream base with pops of colors, and my centerpieces were exactly that! Each vase and bottle was unique and slightly different from each other but the colors all matched well together. All my guests were raving about the centerpieces as well as the flowers hanging on my arch. I also had a floral crown made, and I felt so beautiful wearing it! I cannot say enough good things about Petals ink, and I would highly recommend to anyone!

I had a small backyard wedding at a friends house. Her husband is a landscape architect, so we mainly used flowers cut from her yard to decorate. I hired Petals, Ink. to a small bouquet for me, a garland for a little girl, two boutonnieres, and some cut flowers from Gretchen's garden to supplement my own. The results were INSANELY beautiful—some of the most stunning flowers I've ever had. (And I buy and arrange flowers every week.) I don't know if I can post a shot here of my bouquet, but they really hit it out of the ballpark. Gretchen and Cassie have a great eye for floral design.

Gretchen and her husband were great. She met with me over the phone and in person and her husband even made my cake stand! She also personally delivered the bouquets to me where we were getting ready! Not to mention they have the most adorable flower shop and they even grow some of their own flowers for the arrangements!

I used Gretchen for my wedding as well as my engagement/bridal photos and everything she did was incredibly beautiful. She made flower crowns for both my photo shoots and each were so unique and gorgeous, she even gave me a beautiful bouquet for my bridal photos just because. The flowers for my wedding were beyond anything I could have even imagined, we were all totally floored by how amazing they were and I loved hearing that the majority of them came from her own garden! Her prices are fair and she's worth every penny! I loved that she came to say hi to me on the day of the wedding, she cares about her clients and it really shows.

Petals truly brought the wedding theme together with such beautiful floral displays which expressed our color theme and style perfectly. All the flowers were to fresh and colorful, everything was delivered on time and Gretchen was a pleasure to work with. She understood exactly what I was going for and brought it to life. I had to plan everything from afar and she certainly helped answer all my questions and concerns from afar and made the planning process super easy!

I was so lucky that my initial florist fell through due to booking, because Petals, Ink was the best I could have ever hoped for. We were referred by a wedding planner, even though they weren't on the master list of vendors for our venue, and I wasn't sure if it was exactly the right place for what I was envisioning from looking at photos on their website, but Gretchen took what I told her and made my flowers even better than I had ever imagined. My biggest regret from the wedding (seriously) is that I couldn't just sit and stare at them all day. I got a ton of compliments on how full and beautiful the arrangements were, even on what I thought was a pretty middle of the road budget. Gretchen was incredibly kind and easy to talk to, and even my husband commented on how much he enjoyed talking about the flowers when we left. Most of our planning was from afar and Gretchen and Ben still pulled it off. You are in good hands if you choose Petals, Ink!

I met with Gretchen at Petals, ink. following the recommendation of a friend who had hired her for her own wedding. I'm so glad that I followed her advice! I am totally NOT a flower person- I can name about 10 different flowers, so I didn't have a great idea of what I wanted my flowers to look like beyond a few pictures on Pinterest. But a short questionnaire and meeting later, Gretchen was magically able to come up with a proposal that perfectly captured the theme that I struggled to express myself. Our original proposal included bouquets/boutonnières, centerpieces (2 different designs!), some aisle decorations, and an arrangement to hang on our ceremony arch. Closer to the wedding, I added a couple more little pieces, and it was no issue at all. Gretchen even went out of her way to make sure that the cake arrangement she was making would fit the specific plate we would be displaying our cake on. Although the proposal included the names of flowers and the general feel that they would follow, I didn't quite know what it would look like until the day of the wedding. When I arrived at the venue, I was greeted by arrangements that were more perfect than I ever could have imagined. I was gushing about the flowers all evening (and for days after!). I should also note that Gretchen had to separate the arch piece at the last minute into two different arrangements (our hand-made arch was a little too wobbly for comfort), and this was done flawlessly. Overall, I couldn't be more thrilled about how everything turned out, and Gretchen was a dream vendor to work with. I wish I could get married again just to have more flowers done by Petals, ink.!

Gretchen and Ben were awesome! I came to Gretchen with an idea of how I wanted my flowers to look and not much more. She asked all the right questions and my flowers turned out gorgeous, exactly what I wanted and more than I expected! I wasn't sure about a floral headband but decided to get one and wow, it ended up being my favorite accessory! They were so easy to work with and so professional. Definitely recommend!

I LOVE Petals, Ink! When I had my consultation with Gretchen I could tell right off the bat that this was no ordinary flower shop. It is obvious that both Gretchen and Ben really care about the quality of their flowers. Gretchen was wonderful! I was one of those brides that knew the concept of what I wanted and how I wanted to feel but couldn't begin to tell you what flowers that meant I wanted to have at my wedding. But Gretchen at Petals, ink. figured it out EXACTLY. Beyond exactly, even--she nailed it! I had the most beautiful bouquets, quality service that went above and beyond, and am dying to have another party just so I can decorate with their flowers again!! They work from their home (they have an office behind it) and even grow a lot of their own flowers. Everything is priced beyond reasonably and she worked with my budget. Before our wedding, my husband and I were about as green to wedding planning as you can get. None of our family members (women or men) were willing to help us with planning and I was actually finishing up graduate school in another state. After we booked our venue, I quickly scoured the reviews on The Knot and fell in love with the arrangement photos of Petals Ink. I contacted Gretchen about getting an estimate and she was very patient with us and gave us different price ranges to figure out our floral budget. We ended up going with the higher amount and are absolutely pleased with our decision. Everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful the arrangements were that day. Our photographer was floored by the decor and professionalism by Petals Ink. By showing Gretchen images that I collected from the internet, she and Ben went above and beyond what my husband and I envisioned for our special day. Throughout the entire process, both kept us up to date with any changes/details. Gretchen and Ben are incredibly professional and talented individuals. We highly recommend them for any floral creations on your special day. You will not be disappointed!

They did a great job with the flowers at our Wedding! They jumped in and ran with our theme and the flowers turned out beautifully. Very easy to work with!

Gretchen is absolutely fabulous. Beginning with one rambling email of ideas and a few pictures, Gretchen was able to design exactly what I had in mind for our flowers. She is incredibly responsive through the whole design process and has a knack for translating ideas into beautiful design. Her arrangements are truly art and full of in-season, locally grown (sometimes in her own garden!) flowers. Ben was equally great to work with throughout the process and very helpful each time I made a change to our order (last minute addition of boutonnieres, cake flowers, changing the number of tables, and so on). They are a great team and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wow. Just wow. Gretchen and Ben from Petals Ink are amazingly talented. They took a mish mosh of ideas I had and delivered something so much more beautiful than I ever would have expected! I wanted a colorful bouquet for me, single blooms with ribbons for my BMs, and casually arranged blooms in groupings of silver/glittered bottles that I DIY'd for my centerpieces. I asked for soft pastel colors and a few specific types of flowers I had looked up, and they took that information and turned it into something perfect! They even dealt with the hundred wine bottles my mom dropped off at their office a couple nights before the wedding, that's a lot of bottles to unpack, add flowers to, and repack! They are so talented, seriously. Plus they are so nice and easy to work with. They always responded very quickly to my emails which helped put my bride brain at ease. Also, they had some extra petals at the shop the day of the wedding so they gave those to us for our aisle, so nice of them!

Gretchen and Ben are just lovely. I'll start by saying we had no idea what we wanted for our wedding flowers other than the color palette. From the first email with Gretchen, I knew she "got" what we wanted. . She is incredibly quick and responsive with her communications, didn't hestitate about our limited budget, and was thoughtful and creative with her designs. Gretchen was flexible and helpful throughout the planning process. She incorporated fabric we were using into the boutineers and bouquets, and everything looked exactly as I had hoped, even without knowing what I was hoping for! Our wedding was a bit outside of Austin, and we wanted to pick up the flowers ourselves instead of having them delivered. Gretchen and Ben had everything ready to go in perfectly packed boxes, and helped us pack the car so nothing would fall over. Gretchen gave me directions and advice on how to make sure the flowers would look their best for the wedding day, and they were just perfect. Our family and friends complimented the flowers throughout the night and even now, well after our wedding! I could not be happier with Petals Ink and have already recommended them to friends.

We were absolutely thrilled with the flowers we received for our wedding from Petals, Ink. Gretchen was just a pleasure to work with - she really seemed to understand my vision and was great at working within my budget! She's just lovely. Our venue was a restaurant and our decor was kept to a minimum, but the flower arrangements and floating candles with orchids she provided made the whole space look really special! She even sent along some bonus loose flowers for the table as there were some leftovers from our order - so thoughtful! I would highly recommend Petals, Ink to anyone - you will not be dissapointed at all!
