We worked with Donatis on our centerpieces. They created a perfect piece that complimented our wedding so well. They were easy to work with and answered any question we had leading up to the big day.

Jeff at Donati Florist is who we worked with. Our flowers were exactly what I imagined. I showed him plenty of inspiration photos, and he nailed it. He's easy to work with, very experienced, and his bouquets were perfect. He also did our centerpieces which we received a ton of compliments on. Lastly, he handled flowers for our wedding cake, flowers for our welcome sign and welcome table, guest book table, and cookie table and again, they were exactly as I wanted. I can't thank Jeff enough for everything he did to make the bridal party and wedding look immaculate. I highly recommend!

My flowers for my wedding day from Donati & Sons were beautiful! Jeff was so easy to work with and he was able to capture what I wanted for my fall wedding perfectly. The centerpieces were lovely and they used gold chalices as accents and I loved them. They also let us use their wooden wine rack (they made it themselves) and we used that as part of our seating chart, as guests could find their table on our formal chart and then find their champagne glass and place card in their table row on the rack. It really helped to add a unique touch to the day and guests seemed to enjoy it. Very happy with my experience with Donati & Sons.

If you want beautiful flowers and no worries on your big day or for really any occasion I highly recommend going with Donati’s. Jeff worked with me to get the idea of what we wanted and then went above and beyond!

I got married on April 2, 2022. I actually moved here as a Canadian to marry my fiancé on a fiancé visa. We had a small ceremony with only immediate family and I planned the wedding in about a month (since you have to be married within 90 days). I used Donati and Sons for my flowers. They were incredibly kind with working within my tight schedule. They were professional and whenever I met with them, I never felt like I was getting a sales pitch. The flowers were beautiful. Exactly what I asked for. I would highly recommend their shop for any occasion. I found finding vendors very overwhelming, especially sorting through reviews, so I hope this review helps someone in the future!

Donatis florist did an amazing job for my wedding. They are so reliable, friendly, and professional. The reception flowers were even better than I could have imagined. The centerpieces were beautiful. The sweetheart table was my favorite, with the pedals and flowers. The staircase at Bella Sera where our reception was had pedals and candles beautifully arranged. Again, it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. I will only use donatis for any flower needs from now on. I recommend any couple to use them for their wedding.

Mr. Donati and his staff were absolutely amazing!!!! I had a vision for my wedding and Mr. Donati and his staff exceeded my expectations! My florals were so beautiful! We got so many compliments. Mr. Donati is old school and takes notes via pen and paper but his final product is incredible! Thank you again for all you did to turn our dream wedding into a reality!!

My family has used Pete Donati and Sons for probably 40 years, they have been in business since 1938. They have hit it out of the park for us every time and my daughter's wedding was no exception! We met with Pete Donati himself and he guided us with colors, flowers and what we would need- the blush pink roses were perfect and they "nailed" her bouquet, Erin showed a photo to Pete, they did it perfectly. I had allowed a lot more money for flowers, the end price was astounding- gorgeous flowers, wonderful service and fabulous price. You can't go wrong with Donati's!

We had our wedding at the Omni William Penn, on August 10th. Our flowers were absolutely incredible. We are so happy to have gotten the chance to work with Donatis. While you are planning and organizing, Mr. Donati makes you feel like family. His whole staff, is so wonderful and easy to work with. They are such genuine people, and truly want to help make your day special and perfect. They went above and beyond for us, little things to them were a HUGE help to us. They thought of everything. We are so appreciative of all that they did for our wedding. We couldn't have been happier, such an amazing vendor!

Amazing job! Both Pete and Jeff Donati guided my husband and I with our flower choice to best accent our wedding vision. Everything came out exactly how I had envisioned! Also, more reasonably price than many other flower shops in the area.

When my daughter’s highly unprofessional “florist” bailed 3 weeks before her wedding, we quickly called Pete Donati, and it was a few days before Mother’s Day. He was wonderful. We should have gone with him in the first place, which was our original plan, but she got a hard sell from a company who was billing themselves as a “one stop wedding planning” company...makeup, photography, flowers, hair, etc., and she kindly wanted to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE. So, Pete Donati, always a professional, calmly stepped in and provided my daughter with spectacular flowers...flowers we knew she’d have never received from the previous “florist”. Do not hesitate to use this florist. Beautiful flowers, professional, helpful people, and fair prices.

Pete and his staff did such a great job. I met with Pete a few times to talk about specifics before the big day. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. When I wasn't sure what I wanted, they were able to show me options and even came up with the arrangement options. Prices were extremely reasonable, too. I would highly recommend their services.

Pete Donati did a fabulous job for my wedding. We had very specific requests and he did a large 8x8 flower wall for our place cards that turned out gorgeous. He executed everything perfectly - from our church arrangements, bouquets, reception centerpieces, etc. I will say he will make you a bit nervous by his "old school" approach of scribbling in pencil/hardly writing anything down and lack of technology, but don't let that worry you. He is truly amazing at what he does and remembers everything. He is most engaged in the process 2 weeks before your wedding when your order actually needs placed. You will be satisfied with the result!

I'm from the South Hills area and Pete has been doing flowers for our family for years from High School Prom to 90th birthday parties, so it was an obvious choice to do my wedding. I had 27 tables and 12 bridesmaids, and Pete was really helpful in listening to my ideas and going the extra mile to see my vision and give great feedback so I could stay in my budget. They were so easy to work with and the deliveries the day of were seamless. People were fighting over who got to take the centerpieces home because they were so beautiful!

My wedding flowers were amazing! They did such a fabulous job and I loved working with them! My family owns a blueberry farm and I wanted to incorporate blueberries in with my wedding theme. They went out of their way to find synthetic blueberries that truly looked real and created a one of a kind bouquet for me. I honestly couldn't have been happier with them and they're very reasonably priced.

My wedding flowers were fantastic! I have always loved flowers and the wedding flowers were better than I had imagined. Pete listened to my thoughts during our meetings and used my ideas to create two beautiful centerpieces and bouquets. Everything was wonderful!

WORST Wedding FLOWERS - STAY AWAY This was the worst wedding bouqet I had ever seen. The flowers were brown and wilted when they were delivered. I almost cried when I saw them! The bouquet was extemely small and poorly arranged. I am so disappointed by the quality of this so called “professional” florist. Please save yourself a lot of grief and hassle and buy your wedding flowers at a different shop. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be as upset as I was. I am going to upload pictures as proof.

My centerpieces were beautiful but Pete was a little bit difficult to work with. If you have a unique vision he may not be your best option. But he definitely knows what he's doing and creates beautiful arrangements.

Pete Donati & Sons created the most beautiful florals for my August wedding. Mr. Donati actually came in under budget which was amazing considering how beautiful the flowers turned out. I was looking for gold "Cinderella" vases and he had just that! I also wanted to find a florist that could recreate a "messy out of the garden" bouquet look and they nailed it! Not only did he supply the flowers and vases for the tables but he provided tealights and candle holders that matched my vases. The flowers completely transformed my venue into a fairytale! I also want to add that Mr. Donati was very detail oriented and would have me stop by the shop a few times to get the look I wanted just right! I would highly recommend Donati Florist!

Pete was very helpful in organizing and planning. We had a miscommunication about my bouquet (truly a misunderstanding of what could be done versus what my mother in law thought he was already doing ) so when we called the day of and asked why my bouquet was not what I was expecting, he had stuff ready to fix it and my bridesmaids were able to take it down, have him fix it and be back very quickly!

Pete is extremely efficient and easy to work with!! My 2 appointments with him were no more than 15 min each, and I got everything I wanted. I took pictures of what I was looking for and he helped create the perfect centerpieces, bouquets, and bouttonieres based on the pictures and what flowers were in season to achieve that look. My bouquet was stunning and the centerpieces played off of it beautifully. The flowers were an absolute dream....so easy to work with and fit easily into my budget! Cannot say enough good things!!

Our flowers from Donati's were beautiful! Pete put a lot of thought into the designs and colors based on the pictures I provided. Each time we met, he would even walk me around to show me the different flowers. I did worry about execution a couple of times when we tried to call and change a couple of details, talking to a different team member each time, but if you just put your faith in Pete and his team, everything will fall into place and will look BEAUTIFUL!

We loved our flowers from Donati's! They did an amazing job, everything was beautiful and every staff member was helpful and friendly. The entire process was easy and stress free! I would definitely recommend!

You're always first! You would never have known Donati's had five other weddings , a homecoming dance and two other big events on the day of my daughter's wedding! Never have to worry, our flowers and the service of their staff was top of the line. Everyone in his shop worked on the wedding flowers and that evening was magical! Our flowers were beautiful! Our guests kept remarking over and over how beautiful the flowers were. Many, many thanks to the Donati family. Love - from the Mother of the Bride!

This florist was included in my package through the Crowne Plaza South. I can't even begin to say how much I LOVED everything Pete did for me. From the beginning, Pete was awesome! He showed me so many ideas and assured me that they could be done. In the end, I was left with the MOST gorgeous cascading bouquet along with beautiful bouquets for my bridesmaids. The centerpieces were romantically beautiful and not over done. Also, two days before the wedding I had a call from them verifying my order. I asked them about a backdrop that I wanted which they said would be a lot more money than expected. They told me to come down there and look at a few options. ( I was right up the street at the mall so I figured I might as well!) They said I could always use the Crowne Plaza's backdrop which was a simple white draping and some lighting. But I wanted something different. One of the employees took me downstairs and showed me this BEAUTIFUL moss wall with hydrangeas covering the entire thing. IT WAS PERFECT. I am so happy that Pete was able to do this for me at such short notice as it made my ceremony just magical and divine. My photographer (Sasha Danielle) was also so obsessed with the flower wall that she actually called Pete to see if she could buy it from him ! She told me he was going to teach her how to make one for a cheaper price. Outstanding man!! GREAT florist!! I would totally recommend even outside of the crowne plaza's package as they are incredibly accommodating and very pleasant to work with!

Pete Donati and Sons did a beautiful job on my wedding bouquets and boutonnieres, along with our centerpieces (part of the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South package). The flowers were very reasonably priced and they were delivered right on time, which was a relief during such a stressful day. Highly recommended!

Pete is the most amazing florist! I went and met with him several times to get my wedding flowers just as I had imagined them, and in the end he 100% nailed it! The first few times we stopped in, I looked in the cooler to see flowers that were the colors I was looking for, and Pete helped guide me to what would be in season for November. He also made me sample arrangements twice. The first one was not what I was picturing (though still very beautiful) but he was very open to critiques and suggestions to get it right. The second arrangement he made was closer but not exactly right, but him and I both re-arranged flowers and so he could see what I wanted. I was a little nervous the week of so I dropped off pictures of what I was thinking, and Pete, although always busy, took time to talk with me, show me some of the flowers that had come in for my arrangements and reassured me that he knew what I wanted. The price seems high when you first see it, but Pete gives you bang for your buck! We did mixed high and low arrangements with votive clusters and hanging votives across 17 tables, not including the long arrangements on our head table. We also had flowers in the cocktail area, bathroom, on the escort card table and on the cake, and of course of bouquets and boutonnières for the wedding party, parents and grandmothers. Pete did an AMAZING job with each and every floral arrangement! I was absolutely blown away! This was the area that I was most anxious about because I knew with my venue, the flowers would really make or break my reception hall (it's very plain) and in this case, they made it! They transformed the room for me and really set the tone I was going for! Also, Pete is just adorable to work with. He never seemed angry or frustrated with my/my mom/my wedding planner's opinions and comments, and he always focused on me and what I wanted above anyone else. Pete is great if you're super hands on like me and know exactly what you want--he will make it happen, you just need to be clear about what you want! I also think he'd be great if you didn't have as much of a vision though because everything I ever saw in the store was beautiful! So if you don't have a particular draw to certain types of flowers or just don't care to nit-pick every flower detail, rest assured that Pete will make you something beautiful.

I used Pete Donati as my wedding florist and could not be happier with the result. I needed bouquets and boutonnieres for the bridal party and Pete did a fantastic job and was very reasonably priced. He also provided the bows for the pews that were a nice accent for our ceremony. My consultation with Pete was informative and thorough. I chose a difficult flower to be used in my bouquet that Pete informed me may only get a few hours of life out of them for the ceremony and photos before they began to wilt, but he would do his best to keep them as fresh as possible. Well he must've had some magic potion in his shop because my orange tigerlily inspired bouquet looked amazing from the time it was delivered at the chapel until the end of the reception. Truly he did a great job and I will recommend him to all future brides.

My experience was stressful at the end. I called and set up an appointment way in advance, booked my wedding, and prepaid. Pete then calls the day before my wedding and says that he has three weddings the day of mine and can't deliver to the church as promised but he doesn't want to "let me fall through the cracks." Well, I didn't see why I should fall through the cracks due to him overbooking. He tried to talk me into being inconvenienced by picking them up or having them delivered to my house instead. He was the only vendor who gave me trouble at the last minute. I finally told him to call my planner at the church, so he did and they worked it out. The flowers were ok but certainly not worth the extra stress

I highly recommend Donati's florist to any brides! They did the centerpieces for my wedding at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South (which is the florist they use). I have received so many compliments on the centerpieces and all of my family took flowers home because of how beautiful they were. They did exactly what I wanted and even suggested flowers that would compliment the colors I wanted to include. They were so easy to work with! They made the reception space look even more beautiful and classy!

So I have to admit, sometimes Pete is a little scatter brained and needs lost of reminders but you won't be disappointed with what he produces for your event. His vision is like no others and when he is done, you will see why he has been in business for so long. I definitely recommend him!

Pete Donati did an awesome job!! I went to Donati's after having a not so great experience with my first florist. I walked in his place and 45 minutes later had my wedding flowers picked out. He has such an eye for what works for people. The centerpieces for the receptions were more than I expected. I would definitely use him again for an occasion. There is something to be said for a family run business.

Our wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful! They were simple, yet perfect and exactly what we wanted. The first time we met with Pete I knew we chose the right florist. He knew exactly what our vision was, and that made us feel very comfortable. Every time my mom or I went into his shop we were greeted by him or one of his staff members. He even helped my dad design the up-lighting that was used during the reception. We were very pleased with Pete Donati and will definitely be recommending him to other weddings we know of in the Pittsburgh area!

The flowers were amazing!! The most beautiful thing ever. My mom was worried about the plain looking to the room and then the flowers came in and the entire thing changed!! My girls said they had never had prettier flowers and they have been in a lot of weddings! I wish I could have saved them forever!! I didn't have a lot of color in other areas I really wanted all the color to come from the flowers. And it was better than I imagined!!

My flowers were amazing!!!! They were so reasonably priced I was shocked. I picked odd colors and I thought I was stuck and would only be able to get all ivory flowers for the girls and me. I was wrong. Pete helped guide me (I was clueless with flowers) and incorporated my colors with beautiful fall roses. The roses that were chosen were so multidimensional they were amazing. The centerpieces were HUGE for what I paid. Everyone was so nice and helpful and truly the flowers tied everything together and made it all look so pretty.

I couldn't be happier with the level of quality and service I received from Donati Florist.  Wow!  Mr. Donati is a joy to work with.  He was my favorite wedding vendor by far!  That's because he's a consummate professional yet still personable, knows how to bring your vision to life, and his prices can't be beat!  I had an Old Hollywood themed wedding and Mr. Donati and his team knew exactly how to create that atmosphere in the floral designs. Black and white with a pop of red and crystals.  Sheer perfection! Whatever I needed, he was there for me. He goes above and beyond to make your big day go off without a hitch. I needed a cake stand, no problem. Mr. Donati made one for me by flipping one of his glass bowls upside down. Problem solved. I needed feathers to adorn the top of my cake to complete the Old Hollywood look, no problem. Mr. Donati made it happen. Best florist in the Pittsburgh area, hands down!

The care that went into my floral arrangements was amazing! Pete was wonderful to work with, he spent a lot of time with me to discuss every detail of the arrangements. He went above and beyond what I requested. He added a few touches to my centerpieces that i didn't even ask for just to make them look perfect. He also called me the day before the big day and sent photos to ensure I was happy with the color of the flowers! He has a very "old fashioned" way of doing business and he has a very positive reputation for his business. I recommend Pete to any bride!!

Working with Donati's was overall a good experience, but I would recommend being as specific as possible when working with them. I didn't get exactly what I expected, but I think that was more my fault because I didn't have a big opinion on my flowers. I would probably recommend taking a photo of what you want, or picking something specific out of the book they have there in the shop. Also, the cake topper they gave me was strange, and I think I would have gotten something different if I could do it again. A photograph would also have been helpful in that case. Overall it seemed like a good value, and the centerpieces they made were really beautiful. They were easy enough to work with also, and I would recommend them.

My husband and I met with Pete Donati and his team several times prior to our wedding day. They were fun, creative and professional. My husband's wish was to put together my bridal bouquet and they worked with him to make this possible. All our flowers were gorgeous! Thank you Pete Donati & Sons!

Pete is amazing. It's like he knew what I wanted even more than I did. We met and I told him what colors I was using, the "feel" I was going for, and a picture of a centerpiece I really liked. After talking about a few different kinds of flowers, he took it from there (per my request). He is so knowledgable and has access to such a variety of flowers that he could not have made my bouquets or centerpieces more to my liking. All of my five married siblings have used Donati as well and he has done just as well for all the others too. (I noticed that some of them had a lot of roses in their bouquets, which I wanted to use less of, so I made that request and they followed through perfectly).

I worked with Pete Donati and from the first meeting, I knew he was the florist for us! My husband and I chose an off season color, cranberry red in August. Pete didn't even flinch when I mentioned the color (as other florists had done). He did the exact opposite in fact. He brought out examples and explained how other colors can help the cranberry color to look more summery and his choices were dead on. Our flowers were beautiful! I would refer anyone to work with Pete if they want someone with an eye and passion for flowers.

I am so happy that we chose Pete to do our flowers!! The entire staff at Doanti's was helpful and accomodating. Pete definitely knows what he is talking about...especially since we gave him a lot of creative freedom :).

Donati did all of our flowers, gave outstanding service and advice. The process was simple, you can count on their quality and they actually called me to check to ensure I was happy with their set up for the ceremony and reception. I can't say enough positive things about our experience!

Mr. Donati listened to everything I wanted and most importantly what I didn't want. I had to plan my wedding from a different state, and after having several other florists fail to call me back during my very short trip home to plan...I stopped in to see Mr. Donati. He made me feel important, was very reasonably priced and worked with me since I already bought the vases for my centerpieces! He didn't make me feel bad or tell me what I "had to have" he let me be a simple as I wanted! My flowers were beautiful look great in my photographs!

I cannot recommend Pete Donati enough. He is a pleasure to work with! He really listened to what I wanted and did just that and more. The bridal bouquet and wedding party flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. We were married at Westminster Church in Upper St. Clair. The sanctuary looked so stunning because of Donati's floral work! He knew just how to make it look beautiful and classy without going overboard. Gorgeous. Our reception followed at LeMont Restaurant. Our centerpieces were spectacular! All of their work was BEYOND our expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend Donati's!
