Who am I? A former Pulitzer nominated, state, regional, and national award-winning photographer who loves taking pictures. That's why I'm so reasonably priced. Making and sharing art brings me joy. My joy in taking photographs shows through with what you get. My real start in photography, before going back to school to study photojournalism at San Francisco State, was by hanging out with friends in San Francisco and taking pictures of them partying. That was a long time ago. How long have I been taking photos, starting with my friends, you ask? M.C. Hammer was new, and we were dancing to his music in the clubs.
Here's what you get: a super reasonable price for unlimited time at your wedding with my camera, my lights, and my thirty years of newspaper and wedding photography experience. After about a week (usually), you get about 150-200 fully edited and adjusted images to print, share, make into books, or however you want. I can also make exclusive bespoke wedding albums.
I go on backpacking trips and to triathlon races around the world. Sometimes, being gone or having plans takes away from weekend wedding time and getting the pictures back within about five days. Because of this, my wedding schedule fills up quickly.

Pete studied photojournalism at SF State and worked as a newspaper photographer for sixteen years. During that time, he was published in Time, Sports Illustrated, Geo, and US News and World Report, along with every major newspaper in the U.S. Pete won numerous state and national awards for his work and was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. He shot his first wedding in 2001 and has been a full-time wedding and portrait photographer since 2012.
