Peter did my wedding at the beginning of June. He was so much fun to work with! Communication throughout was incredible. All emails were answered quickly. Very reasonably priced. He had the list of pictures we wanted handy and made sure we got them all. The end results were stunning! The moments he captured were all so amazing. The edited pictures were ready sooner than I was expecting. Our day was perfect and he caught that in every picture!

We've been together for some years and we weren't planning a big wedding so photography was one of the last items on our list. There was point in which we thought we wouldn't even hire a photographer, but looking back at our day we're extremely glad we did! When we reached out to Peter we spoke on the phone for a good 30 mins about what we wanted and how he operated, we went into details about the day and at the end of the call he agreed to do our wedding. The day of the wedding everything went according to plan, he got great shots of our day and we'll cherish those memories for ever.

Peter did a fabulous job capturing our wedding day from beginning to end! He knew great spots in Milwaukee's Third Ward which made for beautiful backgrounds. Full disclosure, on my wedding day I was very nervous (especially knowing my every move was being photographed), but Peter made me feel comfortable and all of the photographs seemed natural and not forced. He is a great photographer and a very kind human. I couldn't recommend him enough!

Choosing the right photographer can be stressful, just like everything else that begins and ends with the word "wedding!" Having Peter as our photographer was a blast. Since our ceremony was outdoors, we had endless opportunities for amazing photos. Peter made it his mission to seize every possible moment without hesitation. He made everyone really comfortable, he was ver personable, kind, thorough and extremely thoughful with the shots he was taking. He even went the extra mile to create a breath-taking slideshow for us to share with our friends and family. When the wedding is over you are left with 2 things. Memories and photos. Peter was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had to reschedule due to Covid, and he was super understanding and accommodating. He also provided a very detailed questionnaire that helped us plan out our timeline and photo opportunities. This helped tremendously to make sure we got every shot we wanted over the course of the day. We wanted to have mostly candid shots and Peter did such a great job capturing every emotion throughout the day. Peter was fantastic and super personable. He literally laid down on the ground to get a better angle. He went above and beyond for us and really listened to and appreciated our needs and wants for our day!

Peter is not only an amazing photographer, but he is also an incredibly creative and energetic one at that. Peter constantly worked with us to get the best shots, whether it was in the 25F night for our engagement or during our beautifully warm wedding day. He worked great with our bridal party, and with us as we went through our day. We could not have asked for a better photographer! Peter went above and beyond for all of our pictures. He is so creative and really cares about your wedding. My wedding was on 10-19-19 and even the guests had comments on how well Peter was doing. Not only did we have an amazing photographer we gained a friend!! I think it took us a whole year to write a review because we have been so busy looking at all our amazing wedding photos all the time! Peter is amazing to work with! He is super responsive and professional and passionate about what he does. He was really detail oriented to all of our plans leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, he was super fun to work with and made us feel really comfortable (and attractive). At the end of the day, he felt like another one of our friends. Above all, Peter does amazing work and we are obsessed with all of our photos. Look no further for a wedding photographer! Peter is a great choice!

Peter photographed our courthouse elopement in Milwaukee. He was wonderful! From his communication beforehand, he got to know us and what we were looking for. On the day, he jumped right into action, arranging detail shots and posing us as we got ready in our hotel room. He was totally game to jump in a Lyft, find great-looking nooks and crannies in the courthouse, lie on the Milwaukee sidewalk in March to get a great shot, and go to a dive bar in the middle of the day (those are some of my favorite pictures). His laidback and fun personality made it easy to loosen up in front of the camera. The finished photos are beautiful and just what we wanted. We'll enjoy them for many years to come. I would 100% recommend Peter for your wedding photos.

What an amazing guy Peter is! We had so much fun with him! He made us feel like models! It seems effortless for him to get some pretty amazing stuff! He also does some pretty flexible things to get the shot he wants which was hilarious!! Danielle and Peter work so well together. When he wasn't taking our portraits he was mingling among the gets but I don't see him in one single picture that our guests have posted! He is the invisible photo beast!!!

Peter has an amazing eye for photography and it's easy to see that it is his true passion. He is so easy to work with and a true professional. Our wedding pictures came out more wonderful than I could have ever dreamed of! Peter and his assistant were both wonderful people to work with! They were very accommodating, they helped us find locations for pictures (we are not from WI) and they helped keep us on schedule from place to place! Other things I didn't realize were so important until after the wedding... Peter is honest and practical with you about when you will receive your pictures and he keeps you up to date through the process (so important!). He also responds to your questions and emails quickly. Really thankful to have booked Peter for our wedding!

Peter and Bailey completely exceeded our expectations of what our wedding photos could be. We were hoping for some good documentation, and said as much to Peter, and that was kindve it. We didn’t want to spend hours walking around taking photos because the day was already chuck full and we wanted to spend that time with family and friends (and still of course didn’t get to have a full convo with everyone). Peter not only respected our wishes but also somehow pulled off some of the best photographic moments, with us as the stars, completely effortlessly. He made us look like old Hollywood movie stars!!! (Which was kindve a little bit of the days look in the long run). While he was taking them, I wasn’t thinking about what we were doing, he had great ideas and lead us through a few photo shoots that were well worth the small amount of time we spent away from friends and fam. Not to mention, he also photographed some great “in the moment” moments and basically documented the whole day extremely well, beautifully, and with a beautiful creative eye that matched what we were going for. On top of all of this, he was easy to communicate with before, during, and after the wedding date. Having him release some of the photos online on social media was fun and made things easy. That’s where people like to share them anyway so that was great. And! My favorite surprise from him: when we booked him, we were told we would receive a personalized flash drive of all of the media after the wedding day. He sent it through the mail. I assumed just a small plastic flash drive so we had all of the files in a good safe spot. Peter went above and beyond! We received the wood covered flash drive (with our wedding date engraved on it) in a beautiful wooden box that had one of the best wedding photos from the day printed ON the box. Super special. And I had no idea that’s what he meant by “personalized flash drive”. Great touch! One last thing: peter does this great slideshow thing where it is a mix of photos and short snippets of video they shot throughout the day. It really set the scene being able to see some “moving photos” in a way. Great keepsake and something I didn’t know I wanted but I’ve watched it a lot and really love it. We love peter and working with bailey as well. Definitely highly recommend!

Peter is amazing! He is wonderful to work with and perfectly captured every moment of our special day. Peter captured our engagement photos as well as our wedding day photos and we have nothing but positive things to say about him and his artistry! We hired Peter for both our engagement photos as well as our wedding day for the reasons that we really liked him as person, loved his bright and colorful style, and that he brings a lighting assistant. We are so pleased with everything and do not have anything negative to say at all. He captured all of our moments perfectly, he is so nice and easy to work with. Neither one of us are real fond of getting our picture taken but Peter always made it easy - found different poses where we were comfortable, made us laugh and would do whatever it took to get the right shot. Nothing was missed from getting our emotions during the ceremony to the awesome detail pictures of our rings and our venue decorations. He also offers the bonus of a combination of pictures and silent videos taken throughout the wedding day which he then sets to music. If you book with Peter, you will not be let down in the slightest.

Working with Peter was one of the best decisions I ever made during the wedding planning process. His skills, passion, and fun personality truly shine in every photograph that he shoots. My husband and I knew he would be the perfect photographer for our wedding the moment we met him. He ensured we felt comfortable in front of the camera and enjoyed the process of taking each photograph. I can't say enough great things about Peter! Peter did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We constantly get asked about who did our photos and people telling me they referred their friends or family to Peter after seeing our photos. He has an ability to take a single moment and turn it into a wow-factor photo. I will forever cherish the work he did because he captured the emotions of the day so well, it almost feels like I am there reliving it again when I look through them-which is a must when that day literally is over in what seems like a blink of an eye! He also put together a slide show of our day with video clips and still shots-it brought tears to my eyes. Words can't express how grateful we are to have found Peter and have had him there with us capturing all of our moments, big and small! I met with multiple photographers before finding Peter and his packages were the most reasonable for our budget. He also gives you your photos to keep and do what you wish with instead of forcing you to order every print through him, like most other photographers do. After meeting Peter A Wagner, we knew that he was the right photography for our wedding. Right from the start, he was outgoing, very organized, and put us at ease. A couple weeks before our wedding, we filled out a form for Peter with all of our wedding details. From then on out, I knew we had nothing to worry about. He was prompt and super creative for our wedding pictures. And the pictures...they turned out way beyond my expectations!! Peter truly captured our wedding day! Photographs are one of the best ways to capture a moment to relive. Years later, looking at a photo can allow one to feel all the emotions and connections. There is no more special a day than one's wedding day (although the birth of a child may rival that), so having a great wedding photographer is essential. There are a myriad of wedding photographers out there; each photographer is undoubtedly exceeding competent with knowledge of technical aspects of camera, framing, and lighting. What makes Peter stand out from all the rest is his professional, calm, and comfortable demeanor. He worked hard to slip seamlessly into our wedding day, getting great shots of us, and of our family and friends. It was very simple to schedule him for our wedding day, and he went above and beyond to get us the pictures encompassing the entire experience. I truly was surprised he was able to do so much by himself; the resulting pictures rivaled my friends' wedding photos that utilized multi person photography teams. A wedding day can be hectic on its own, and having a demanding photographer can add to that stress. Peter is able to get beautiful shots without adding to the stress. My wife and I are really happy with how all the photos turned out. The lighting, the positioning, the tilt of our faces were all top notch. We feel that it captured the feelings of our wedding day perfectly. We highly recommend Peter!

Neither myself nor my (now) husband are the biggest fan of taking pictures, so finding a photographer for our wedding already seemed like it was going to be a difficult task. Additionally, our wedding was a large, very non-traditional, outside wedding, mostly taking place at night, with a lot of various activities happening simultaneously and all with weird lighting situations. We had no idea who we were going to hire that would be able to work with us, being fussy as we are about pictures, and also be able to capture the spirit of our wedding (which was really a higher priority for us, honestly). Peter absolutely nailed it in every possible way. The pictures are all, of course, absolutely gorgeous, but more than that - they encapsulate everything that we worked so hard for our wedding to be. He was unbelievably easy to work with, especially on a day that can be so stressful, and is genuinely a very cool and lovely person with a massive talent for capturing detail. From the moment we met him, we knew he just "got" us and understood what we were trying to achieve, and we were so very lucky to find him. According to my husband, he "made getting married 'fun'" :-). We have recommended him highly to all of our friends getting married in the upcoming years, and after seeing our pictures - they are excited to work with him as well!

I am not photogenic and I don't like being in front of a camera. Peter made me feel at ease with his casual demeanor and got excellent pictures while doing it. He guided us through everything and took any photos we wanted. Peter is genuinely a pleasure to be around and is very talented. I am almost beyond having words to describe how amazing Peter is! Peter captured every moment of our wedding with absolutely stunning pictures. Peter is very professional and is also super fun to have around! I went to photography school and was pretty demanding on my list of photographic preferences, and he met them 100% and without complaint. Peter is organized, punctual, very creative and extremely knowledgeable in his photography skills. Many photographers I looked at made me feel as if I would want to be checking what they were shooting throughout the night, but I had 100% faith that Peter would go way above and beyond my expectations. Peter is an amazing photographer. He was flexible and enjoyable to work with. His pictures are stunning. He took the right mix of posed and candid shots; exactly what we were looking for. And on top of his great work and affable nature, the price was right too!

We were very impressed with Peter at every step of the process. He responded promptly to questions. He had researched our venue and had ideas of pictures he wanted to take. He had us fill out a detailed questionnaire that allowed us to tell him our preferences for types of pictures, etc for the day of the wedding. He was also very good at floating around and catching pictures of our guests and not being intrusive. He finished all of our pictures within 6 weeks or so and then hand delivered them to our house. He was a pleasure to work with and we are incredibly happy with our pictures.

I was looking for a photographer with reasonable rates without sacrificing quality and stumbled upon Peter! Peter was professional, yet personable at the same time. Before the wedding, we were provided a thorough questionnaire that allowed us to specify exactly what we wanted for our big day. I was incredibly picky about finding the right photographer. We were engaged for a year before we had our engagement photos taken, and that was after I found Peter. He is an amazing photographer, so much so that after he did our engagement and our wedding, I asked if he would be able to do maternity shots when that time comes. He's beyond personable- he's inviting, he listens to what you want, helps you figure it out, and does everything he can to make sure he gives you exactly what you wanted and then some. We had him for 10 hours for our wedding and I love every single picture he gave us (over 1000 pictures). He captured moments and people in those moments that I will cherish forever and was able to do it in a way that people saw the pictures and would say, "I didn't even realize he was right there! That picture is awesome!" Thank you, Peter, for being such a wonderful photographer.

Loved working with Peter! He is so friendly and patient through the whole process, will work hard to meet any specifications, and came up with some stunning shots on the fly as well. He delivered so many more photos than I expected, nicely organized with a highlights section and short video presentation for our enjoyment and for sharing on social media, etc. He really captured the spirit and overwhelming emotion of the whole day, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Peter photographed both our December (local) and April (destination to Mexico) weddings. He captured some great moments of both myself and my husband...but also of our guests! The candid photos were great! The night photos are my and my husband's favorite! Peter did an absolutely amazing job with the night shots with the lighting and capturing the stars!! Peter was very professional and ensures he got all of the shots we requested. We asked him to use his professional judgement and I was glad we did because the pictures turned out better than I imagined. Peter has an eye for some truly beautiful shots with regards to background, lighting, and posing. He was always on time and very responsive to my texts and emails. Since we were so busy planning 2 ceremonies...one local and one destination within 4 months...I asked him to remind me of the things he needed and he would which was super helpful! I wish I could give this man 10 Stars he is a true saint! When looking for our photographers I ran onto Peter’s beautiful website. I was stunned at how amazing his photos were and the price he was asking was such a great deal. I had also heard that he will be direct so you can make sure you get a great photo every time which was the most important thing in a photographer to me. Peter shot our wedding about two months ago. He was truly amazing to work with! He showed up about an hour early and stayed over an hour later then we had asked just to make sure that he got all the pictures we wanted . Peter has great attention to detail and was very creative in his work. Peter has an eye for beauty, and captured everything perfectly! Everything was happening so fast during the wedding that it was all a blur for us but thankfully Peter was there to capture so many great moments...Moments we didn't even know existed until we looked through all of our pictures. It's like we're reliving our wedding again! I have already looked at our wedding photos dozens of times. I knew Peter did wonderful work, but he definitely exceeded our expectations!! So many of our family and friends have complimented on the quality, creativity and the quantity of the pictures. When we received our pictures on the drive in this amazing wood box with our picture on it I couldn’t believe it got any better than all the amazing pictures we had already gotten. This was a big investment for our wedding but it was worth every penny and more!
