On the day of, it was obvious Peter knew what he was doing. It was a small backyard ceremony with over 100 guests, and yet we think Peter could have easily navigated around a crowd twice as dense. Wrangling that many friends and family for many group photos is no easy feat, but Peter managed it so efficiently while still finding time to capture the moments in-between in a ninja-like fashion. During the ceremony, he planned his routes and angles with great care as to respect the ceremony space and our guests. Not a single complaint from anyone all night! In fact, Peter was so easygoing and warm with everyone that it felt like he was part of the celebration too. Overall, it went so smoothly that we will be going with Peter for our wedding as well! And as an extra, we love how our photo album book turned out! It tells our story that night beautifully. Thanks Peter!

Peter, we could tell that he was the exact right type of funny, nice, and welcoming personality to bring out the best in us – and make our general state of awkwardness disappear on camera. All of our family and guests loved Peter as well. He blended in so seamlessly with everyone and everything at our giant Indian wedding and was able to capture so many special moments for us! The first time we met in person with Peter was during our adventure engagement shoot in Mt. Hood. Peter really lived up to the “adventure” part of the shoot, pulling off to the side of the road to have us jump out of his truck and take pictures on the mountain-side. Our hope of a snowy day to take pictures came true, and Peter jumped right in with us to capture the most amazing moments and scenery all around us. We had only done a professional photography session once before and felt very awkward with that vendor, but Peter made us feel so comfortable and that really showed through in his pictures. Within a week after the shoot, Peter had already digitally delivered the pictures for us to enjoy! Peter helped us prepare leading up to the wedding weekend, ensuring that we had all our group shots ready for friends and family. He also entertained our whimsy of having a photo shoot with the sports car we rented for the weekend! Peter rolled with the punches throughout our crazy Indian wedding weekend, enamored himself with our friends and family, and captured so many amazing moments. We really enjoy Peter’s photo-journalistic style of capturing candid moments rather than staged poses, and we have so many beautiful memories to cherish forever because of the incredible work he did for us throughout our wedding weekend.

Even with the "slow down" of the upcoming holidays, we got our photos back within 3 weeks! Some photographers can take upwards of 6 months to produce your photos!! But I was so ecstatic that Peter is SO quick and even more than that, produces such a high quality final product. In adition to the spectacular photos and super quick turn around, he went above and beyond his call of duty during the wedding. He helped my groom, groomsmen, and grandparents get their boutonnieres on. He even helped with the timing of our grand entrance and he truly did so much more than we ever expected him to do and we are so eternally grateful for him and his incredible work as a photographer. I will ABSOLUTELY be hiring him again for any other formal events and will be giving recommendations to all my local friends who plan on getting married. Seriously Peter you ROCK! OVE our photos. One of the things we were looking for when selecting a photographer was someone who’s work could tell the story of the day and make those who couldn’t make it to our wedding feel like they were there. Peter did just that. Everyone’s commented how beautiful the photos are and love the candid shots. Peter was fun to work with too. We are both on the shy side and so was our family. Peter does great job connecting with everyone and making you feel comfortable.

e to go with Peter for a couple reasons. First, we loved the authentic colors he maintains in his edited photos. So many photographers these days are adjusting their photos to look more sepia-toned or like they have a filter on them -- or they boost the brightness up incredibly high or dramatically increase the shadows. Peter keeps his photography authentic. He says he tries to emulate photo journalism in his pictures. As a journalist myself, I'd say he does a great job at it. Also like a photojournalist, Peter works to capture real moments. Sure, there are the staged and posed pictures, but Peter also gets the laughter, the awe, and the emotion on people's faces. We are so pleased with his work and we've heard from so many of our guests that they loved interacting with him on our wedding day. We'd love to hire him again for any photo-worthy moment in our lives.

On the day of the wedding it felt hectic and I wasn't 100% sure where I should have been or what I should have been doing at any given moment. This was great because I never had to worry about where I had to be next 4) They are just great people will incredible talent. When were first met them, they took us out for drinks so we could feel out if it was a good fit. Right off the bat you could tell that they love what they do and they love to do it together. This was important to us and the connection we felt with them solidified they were perfect for shooting our wedding. The photographers are there for every little moment of the wedding, so you want to make sure you feel comfortable around them and enjoy their presence. Peter and Susannah exceeded our expectations Would highly, highly recommend!

le it's home, it felt like planning a destination wedding. We were immediately struck by their portfolio. All of the photos were gorgeous and had a common thread: The pure joy and emotion in all the photos. Everyone looked just so HAPPY. I feel like you see a lot of wedding photographer portfolios, and they're generally filled with what I call "Wedding Glamour Shots," where the bride looks like she's trying to be a delicate model in Vogue and the husband is just kind of an accessory. When thinking about what I wanted in my wedding photos, this was not it. I'm not a stunning model bride. I'm not delicate. It'd be a joke to hang these photos in my living room. We knew they had our style when we saw the stories they were able to tell in photos. We initiated contact, and since we were 3,000 miles away, Peter and Susannah actually got on Skype with us to feel each other out. This really set the tone for our relationship with them. I've gotta say, after all is said and done, not only did they deliver absolutely amazing photos, but they continually exceeded our expectations. From regular communication, to meeting with us in person to create a timeline, they went out of our way to make us feel like we were their only clients. On the day of the wedding, they were so much fun to work with, and immediately made us feel at ease. They are both hilarious. And major props to Susannah, who photographed the entire day while being very pregnant, and didn't complain once. What a trooper. Their photographic style is along the lines of "Do your thing and we observe" with just a dash of "Hey, try putting your hand in your pocket." None of the "Stick out your neck, now tilt your head to the left, no the other left, up, up, up, now down just a hair, hold still....and....great!" Our photos came out looking natural, joyful, and fun, and 100% absolutely captured both our personalities and the feel of the day. I also would like to note how efficiently these two work. Within days of our wedding, they had posted many highlights of our wedding to their blog, which was so fun to see during our mini-moon. And less than three weeks after our wedding, we received all 800+ of our high-resolution photos. How many wedding photographers do you know of that actually finish a project this big in less than a month? Stunned. Also, being the non-model I am, I was worried the highlights would be the best of the best. How wrong was I? Every. Single. Photo. Was as good or even BETTER than the highlight reel. To add to this, they really brought it with the details. I was expecting our thumb drive of photos to come in a padded envelope. Instead, it was packaged inside a lovely box with notes, directions, and goodies. Peter and Susannah have really made us feel like we are the most important people on earth, and what bride and groom doesn't love to feel like that? I will absolutely cherish these amazing photos forever, and each time I look at them, I tell myself how we hired the right people and that they were worth every--and I mean every--penny. I can't recommend this couple highly enough.

Hiring them was the best choice we could have made! Neither my fiance' (now husband) or I have ever been to Oregon. They both made us feel like they where as excited as we where that we where getting married! I think it's safe to say we had a couples crush on these guys! I told them what our budget was and what I wanted and they created a package that was exactly what we wanted in our prize rage. At first I didn't think I needed engagement pictures done but I am so glad I did because they turned out sooo good and I can't even tell you how many compliments we get on them. The two of them made us feel extremely comfortable and where able to really capture who we are. No stuffy, stiff posed pictures...they got real Smiles and real emotions from us. On our wedding day they both came about 2 hours before we had originally scheduled them so they could make sure to get some "getting ready pictures"....and all they wanted for that extra time was some lunch! Are you kidding me..who does that!!?! They did because they are AWESOME! All of our wedding party had a blast with them...i have never seen guys so pumped to take pictures!Your wedding day is full of emotions that you normally don't show the whole world but Peter and Susannah are so respectful of the day and all the emotions that come with it. These two are amazing photographers and amazing people. I will always recommend them and continue to use them in the future.

communication aspect. Anyone can take a great photo with today's affordable DSLR's, but it takes someone very special to communicate to a group of strangers and bring out their best. I had a mixed group of people where some were rowdy and others were shy. I wanted a photographer that communicated well and brought out the best in people. Peter was absolutely perfect! He communicated beautifully and kept us on schedule. I loved his level of professionalism. I immediately felt comfortable and trusted his creativity. He had a variety of equipment and was so discrete about it. He captured my big day in a sleek and stylish way without looking like a tourist. He also did a great job resisting the multiple drink offers. I had a prohibition themed wedding at a relaxed resort, and it got a little crazy to say the least. Peter is such an awesome guy! I feel honored to have met him early in his career and excited to watch his business grow. Those super expensive photographers that you meet at the bridal shows have some serious competition from Peter!

Before the wedding, Peter discussed with Ben and I what we wanted out of our wedding day. Peter actively listened, asked us a lot of questions, and offered good advice for the timing and location of pictures. Before the wedding, he scouted out several great locations where the lighting and the scenery looked good. We had loose plans for locations because of an unpredictable weather forecast, but Peter worked with what we had, and made it amazing! We got the pictures almost immediately after we got back from our honeymoon. Peter also had included prints of family shots in with the CDs: he really knows how to go above and beyond! After seeing them all, I couldn't believe how fantastically they had all turned out: the lighting and locations were all perfect, and Peter got every single picture I wanted! It really amazed me, considering how huge our wedding party was, that he was able to deliver such a personalized shot list. Peter is incredibly timely, efficient, patient, adaptable, eager to please, and down to earth. Looking back now, it is incredible what a huge part of the day the photography played, and I couldn't think of anyone else I would have entrusted those special moments to. I had no doubt Peter would do a great job for us, but he by far exceeded any expectation I had.
