Petite Acres is a French countryside-inspired wedding venue set on 4.25 acres in the heart of New Buffalo, MI. Tucked in a charming vacation town, it offers the feel of a destination wedding — without the travel.
At the center of the property is Château Aster, our signature stone-and-brick venue, designed to evoke the elegance of a timeless French manor. Inside, you’ll find soaring ceilings, exposed beams, custom chandeliers, and arched windows that open to the Great Lawn, gardens, and walking paths — creating seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
Couples and guests enjoy a full weekend experience with 12 private guest homes on-site. Maison Foxglove, a four-bedroom residence beside the lawn, is ideal for welcome drinks, getting ready, or a morning-after brunch.
Amenities like a wellness studio, sauna, firepit lounges, and immersive landscaping make Petite Acres a place to gather and celebrate. We host a limited number of weddings each season so every couple receives our full attention and care.

Over the past decade, she’s planned and hosted hundreds of events — from wellness retreats to large-scale experiential activations — always with a focus on connection, intention, and fun. Her signature event series, Sweatworking Week, brought people together across Chicago’s top studios and venues, blending movement, celebration, and community in a way that made every guest feel special. Now, she brings that same energy and attention to detail to Petite Acres, helping couples feel at ease, inspired, and totally taken care of — from first visit to wedding day.
- Justin CohenCo-FounderJustin co-founded Petite Acres with Jeana, focusing on building a venue where meaningful moments can unfold naturally. From shaping the property and its spaces to thinking through how guests move, gather, and celebrate across a full weekend, Justin is deeply involved in creating the overall experience couples and their guests feel on site. He brings a builder’s mindset and a host’s perspective to every detail — from arrival moments to shared gathering spaces — always with the goal of making celebrations feel effortless, intentional, and well cared for. Together, Justin and Jeana designed Petite Acres to be a place where people can slow down, connect, and truly enjoy being together.
